I agree on points 1, 3 and 4. Especially 4.🤢
But points 2 and 5 - Rishbala's first and second wedding - were both necessary as the only thing that would get the TRP-audience interested in both situations where the serial was drowning.
Madhu bent on revenge for just a few episodes made her look bad. If she had gone through with her plan, she would have been detested beyond redemption. A male lead gets condoned for a lot of stuff, the female lead never.
And the female-lead career-track concept is interesting but not likely to be appealing to the TRP-audience and would have just got the serial closed. It needs to be introduced in careful packaging at a time when the TRPs are great.
But agree absolutely with your last para. They need to wrap up the past colossal mistakes by Rishbala, and then start afresh.
The TRPs audience's detestation of the unbearable Sultan tracks got rid of that character. That was good for us.
But their detestation of other tracks could also end those just as surely. So the upcoming tracks need to be packaged with what we want to see presented in a way that the TRP-audience is willing to stick with. It's a tall order, and really hope the MEIEJ CVs can manage it.

I feel before Sultan's entry, the show was going just right. All other aspects were unique and had me addicted to the show. Sultan's character was a major blunder by the cvs. Because of this the rest of the characters, the story everything got butchered so much that the original show got lost somewhere! Herione would have been best if it had been shown sometime after the unwedding.

Leela, the TRP audience for MEIEJ is different from other shows. In other shows, the audience would have loved to see RK-Sultan bhai bhai drama and then would have loved to see them hugging each other in the end. But the audience of MEIEJ is basically that which likes Rishbala's love hate story, that is why the TRPs were highest during their falling-in-love phase and after unwedding till Bhai entered.

And many people would have loved to see Madhu becoming a heroine after taking revenge from RK. Yes, she might have been detested, but they could have shown something to make up for it.

And regarding 4-phere wedding, I feel that the TRPs were always good when RM came face to face (as seen in TRP breakdown), so instead of RK forcing Madhu to marry him, they could have shown RK forcing her to be his heroine and then same nok-jhonks or stuff of these two.

Chakku, the TRP-audience that is sought after and can keep or end a series is just one. There are no two. The one that is wanted by the big sponsors is the one that is the largest population segment - the conservative middle-class. If even a few of them keep checking between ads to avoid missing the next scene, and just some of those few decide to buy some of the products advertised, that is a huge enough number of people to make the crores invested by sponsors in ads entirely worth it.
Sultan was rejected in every track because he was presented as an option to the married heroine.🤢😃 If the mass-audience hadn't considered her married to RK, her sleeping on the same bed (even with a pillow-wall) with RK for months would have been a disaster.😆
They like RK and Madhu love and conflict both.😳 But if it's a matter of the female lead's career, she is expected to fight hard to avoid it if it will cause problems in her conjugal life.
Madhu's credibility has still not recovered from the revenge mess. Had she truly forgiven RK for everything, the TRP-audience would have completely forgiven her for her hugely unpopular associating with Sultan. But by wanting revenge - even for just a few days - she lost the opportunity to get past that messy phase in one fell swoop.
Right now, her getting RK out of this current mess will be enough to salvage her image from the Sultan-associating and the few days of revenge intention. If she had gone through with the revenge, no act of greatness on her part would ever have salvaged her image.
Her smiling with Aryan and Sultan at the Holi ensured that there was no adverse TRP when RK took her home by force. If she had taken revenge, the audience would want to see RK hurting her and nothing she ever did or endured later would invoke any sympathy for her.
You're right that RK forcing Madhu into films instead of the 4-phere wedding would have been better, as far as our getting the stardom track goes.😃 But the CVs took things too slow, and the TRPs fell too much with some people wondering if RK was the villain of the series.🥱 Only the wedding could convince the mass-audience that RK was the hero of the series, and get them to stick with viewing the series as an interesting pairing. RK's unpleasant treatment of Madhu after the wedding wasn't a problem since worse had been condoned easily in TRP-terms in other serials previously.😕
