Charu, you know I believe CVs have always tried to maintain an argument that evil is not born it is made. If you see with BSC, he was a pure psychopath but they showed his mother who was the reason behind his psychopathic nature. It came out really well.
Then they showed RK, a superstar, a character turned dark grey over time in order to defend himself and isolate himself from the world. They nailed it again.
They wanted to show it with bhai as well. They wanted to show how he was golden hearted all along while living in the world of crime but losing Madhu came as the last nail in the coffin for him and he turned bad. But here they failed miserably as the sane audience never believed that there can be a golden hearted international don who can kill people, get money out of extortion but still respect women. That's why they give him dialogues like that but they fall flat.
I don't know if that made sense for you or not but I feel that way.
And as for Madhu, I really think she said all that because they were in hostage situation. I am saying this because I see Criminal Minds a lot. Lol. They explain there this stuff a lot. So, she talked just like she should have during that situation.
