I think it was a set up, he was asking first is RK there, he knows how possessive RK is he would have heard immediately when Madhu said "Sultan" his ears could have peeked up and we see him slightly turn his head to her when she said the name, so he told her everything knowing RK would question her deeply and she would tell him so that RK would lose his temper and come and meet him instead at the the place.

Meera is just a path to reach to Madhu . He knows that Madhu is very sensitive girl . His forceful entry in R.K Mansion was just to show Madhu his MAD Mommy and her dard 😆 that's why he not even bother to cross check the story told by Rashid 😡.

And seriously I was not knowing that surname's ka isse len dan hota hai😲 whether you are child from 1st wife or 2nd wife you are entitle to use surname of father . 😆😆 .
