Since this thread has been indulging in full fledged DT attacks over the past day, I figured I'd come down here and set the record straight for everyone here.

a. The DT did not make comparisons between SulMini and SulBala but the MEMBERS of this forum did. You may not be aware of it and that's fine because you are not aware of every interaction that DT members have with members of this forum but to assume that WE decided to compare to two highly unrelated character groups is an uninformed decision. And then to go on attacking the DT members for it is in poor taste. All we were doing was clarifying how the two were NOT the same. But clearly that got misconstrued by frustrated fans. We are all for airing grievances but please lets not use us as punching bags for things we haven't initiated or suggested.

b. SulBala discussions were NEVER restricted. In fact that whole rules thread to was to clarify how THIS thread is not an AT and therefore will remain open. But again, members did not read through it entirely or maybe we did a poor job of explaining and as a result instead of ASKING us about it and waiting for us to clarify, we were bashed and ridiculous and dealt with hostility throughout this thread.

We are never going to TRY to curb any free speech, nor do we care to. But we WILL expect a certain amount of respect that we give EVERYONE on this forum. If the DT doesn't go around airing dirty laundries in public, we would hope that members give us the COURTESY of believing that there may be MORE to a story than what they think they know or understand and then ASK us.


c. We get it - you think we're biased. And that's fine. At the end of the day, everyone loves to hate the DT and in a forum as tumultuous as this, we can't make everyone agree with us. So it's your right to disagree with us and one we wholeheartedly respect. But if you think we are biased towards RishBala fans, I can guarantee you that we have been accused of being biased towards SulBala fans from the other side too.

And here's a little secret I'll let everyone in on - We. Don't. Favor. A. Particular. Fan. Group.

I have no loyalties to either couple. My main focus is to keep it as neutral and OPEN for every fan in this forum as possible. So please, do take the trouble to DISCUSS issues with me before labeling myself and my fellow DT as biased. That's all I ask. If we act biased with you, then please call us that. But until that time, please just treat us with a little bit of respect. Don't love us, don't go to war for us, but just give us an ounce of respect for having to deal with harsh and offensive accusations day in and day out for this forum. And we do that - for EACH of you. Sulbala, Rishbala, Sultan, Rishab, Madhubala fans alike.

Read and accepted. Yes people may have gone a little overboard with their accusations on DT members today, but frankly and in all honesty, you can't really blame them. And I don't think you can also deny the fact that if any group has wholeheartedly accepted the rules, followed them, and even appreciated the Mods was THIS group. The Sultan and SulBala fans. But just one time when we decide to raise our voices and fight the injustice, which we really are victims of, we get tagged as "bashers of the DT" . The way I see it, this is like taking advantage of our goodness all this time.

The RK fans have always won their battles and still have never been satisfied whereas we on the other hand always accepted anything the Mods asked us for. But now our cup is full too. So was it wrong of us to want to be treated fairly just one time? You may not do this intentionally, but somehow you guys do end up giving more liberties to the RK/RishBala fans and they use them in the most inappropriate ways possible without fear.

The rules clearly mentioned that SulBala AT's will NOT be accepted. My question is WHY? I hope you know that even when Madhu wasn't married to RK, the members never talked about them in a sexual reference. If wanted to see a passionate hug or kiss between them is considered to be a sexual reference then I think we might have to change the meaning of that word altogether. We have always appreciated the efforts of the DT Members and we would have appreciated it more if the Mods had posted such severe messages in any RK/VD ATs and Chat Threads too when they used to openly insult actors and their fans.

All we wanted was some clarification and to put forth our point of views regarding the new set of rules for which many members PM-ed you, which I believe stands for personal message right? But you replied to all of that in an open post for everyone to read and basically accused us of bashing you. What would you have done if you were in our shoes? You would have been hurt and frustrated right?

As long as we don't get manipulated with, we have no issues. Rest we have and always will follow the rules laid out by the DT of this forum!

This may be a little out of order (in terms of your post) but I'll try to cover all the points you mentioned in there.

Regarding PMs, I currently have over 75 PMs in my inbox and this is just over the past 12 hours. In those 12 hours are included the time when I slept, the time when I had to run errands for my family and the little bit of time I spend trying to clarify the forum rules for EVERYONE in as quick a manner as I could without everyone feeling neglected.

There is no denying that there have always been members who have been helpful for the DT and have given us the cooperation we requested. But does being cooperative for the past 10 times makes it okay to break rules this once? I assure you, I know how frustrating this is. I've had favorite jodis and I've had hostile fans attacks before too. But you have to understand just how immensely active this forum is. At any given day we have 100+ reports - which we have 2-3 hours to clear each. And therefore some reports taken more than a day to be cleared out which is probably why it looks like we aren't doing anything. But we are and we try and we will keep trying.

Regarding sexual speculation for SulBala, if you feel the SulBala fans have never indulged in sexually explicit discussions involving the two then why do you feel like the new rules will curb any discussions? You are welcome to keep discussing as you normally do and if we come across any offensive comment, that is the only time you'll hear from us. So until you hear from us, why assume that any and all comments regarding SulBala will be considered offensive? When have we ever done anything to suggest that? I understand that new rules always give members pause but why do the members feel so threatened by something that we haven't even SAID we'd do to begin with?

The idea was to clarify that the inappropriate content will not be allowed. It was not to imply that there has been a ton of inappropriate content that has been allowed so far. As far as we are concerned, any member that posted inappropriate content has been personally PMed and if you haven't received a PM from us then you probably didn't need one. So can we please just WAIT until AFTER the DT warns your posts to call them biased? Let us do the bad deed first that we are accused of and THEN accuse us? 😊

And lastly, the bashing in THIS thread has occurred for all to see. So the reply had to be clarified in public too. I know if feels bad and feels like an accusation. I do know that. But would it really be better if all the openly made accusations were clarified in private? Wouldn't then members assume that we had something to hide and were therefore not willing to clarify in an open forum for fear of being vulnerable? The purpose of the post was to show that we are ready to take the brickbats if you just TALK to us. It wasn't to say that one group is evil and the other is not.

I'm not sure if that covered all points but please do let me know if there is something I missed. 🤔
