Loved today's episode sans the new entry part.. The forum is abuzz with posts wondering about Madhu n RK's reaction.. So wanted to put in my 2 cents.. I think again DVD did a stupendous job! And their reactions were consistent with their personalities..
About Madhu's reaction.. She apologized multiple times because she was feeling guilty.. She is insanely in love wth RK.. She suddenly sees RK in pain that too because of her! So her first reaction was a sudden guilt and pain because she is the reason behind his agony n despair. And her inability to answer rk in context of the presence of bhai in their bedroom made her even more guilty.. She is totally in character here, where she feels his pain rather than being defensive.
Imagine, Dipali or Trishna at her place. They don't seem to be apologetic types. Was dips apologetic, when Sikki caught her hugging RK.. Dipali is outright evil, while Trishna gets defensive.. The only reason I dragged the two was to prove tat it's Madhu's personality and inability to stand RK's or just anybody's pain that is making her apologize, not her being a weak woman or a doormat..
She is not a door mat.. Most of us choose to ignore that she did change Rk a lot, like his coming to terms with his mom's remarriage, his dad's death.. His faith in God was reinstated because of Madhu. He proposed to her on his knees in front of everyone. He kept his ego aside when he was dedicating songs for her on national TV. So she has an influence on him. Door mat wives don't bring such drastic changes in men like RK..
About RK's reaction!! He just got the shock of his life.. He can't rationalize it right away. He is hurt, and we know that he is emotionally very weak. He is totally shattered at the moment. How is a shattered man expected to behave?? The first reaction is self pity, accusation, anger.. If he would have rationalized Madhu's revenge plan in view of his past deeds, I would have been surprised and suspicious. We know RK is vulnerable, who has trust issues. My post yesterday clearly stated that I m happy that RK was hurt! Because he needed this dose! But expecting him to start justifying Madhu's action immediately goes against a normal human reaction. And here we are talking about RK.. He has his flaws.. We never said he is angel! Yes, I have always insisted that he is a right man for a right girl. And Madhu is that right girl.
RK has a tough time forgiving people he holds close to his heart. His mom n Madhu are at the receiving end of lot of BS from him. Why? It's because he loves them in his unique way. It's not justified but this is how it is.. There are many people (both men n women) who give lot of flak to their moms n significant others because they know these two people will deal with their tantrums..
In fact Kudos to the writers, who didnt show a hero all forgiving n dreamy just to justify their love story.. This is RK n Madhu love story! They have their own flaws. They have totally different personalities, but some similar traits. I am loving it with all this drama n pain.. Yes, I don't want RK to be mean to her. Or go ack to hate mode, which is very unlikely anyways..
We saw when Madhu was touching n hugging him, he was not pushing her away. Infact when Madhu hugged her from back, he closed his eyes in pain. Because he is also affected by her the way she s affected by him..
Every couple married or in a long term relationship have their beautiful n sad moments.. Similarly, these two crazies will have their happy n sad moments. Yes, RK's insecurity, his ego, will be a cause of lot of their misery. But that does not make RK undeserving of her love. Because he is capable of loving her, and he does love her insanely.
RK is upset fr multiple reasons, first the way her revenge plan was disclosed, then Hangu being privy of her plans n emotions, then Gangu being in their bedroom. It's not just revenge deal.. It's beyond that..
Imagine, a girl who has feelings fr RK, and Madhu just dislikes her because she knows that she likes him. (It can't be Dipali as RK hates her guts, and Madhu knows how RK feels for her)
Madhu sees RK with this girl in his bedroom, and RK is talking about her n Madhu's equation with her in a similar pose (like Madhu n Gangu).. Don't u think Madhu will be upset?
I don't know what CVs plan to show, but RK takes a long time to forgive people close to him. Like it took him years to forgive his mom for what? Marrying a wrong guy? She was not wrong totally!
In this case, he was the one who brought Madhu to this extent that she was going to take revenge, but it will take a while for him to understand his contribution to her plan..And once he does, he will forgive her..
Furthermore, his pain is also because the image of 'his' Madhu is tarnished.. So let's give them some time.. Madhu once she gets out of her guilt, will try to show him the reality; and once he comes out of his pain, anger, despair, etc.. He will try to see the reality.. But not so soon.. Because they need drama!
Let's see how this will unfolds. As long as they are happy, I m okay with their everyday drama..
Few words about Raymonds the complete man!!😆 For a moment I was so happy when he decided to leave the town. But Alas! Some things are just too good to be true.. 🤢 And man! My earnest request to CVs, can we get a day, where his actions don't make me question his existence?? The newly broken golden heart was leaving the town because his 'friend' loves her husband??😕
Its clear now that the epitome of chivalry was thinking that after her revenge, he can have his way with her.. Now that's the kind of friend you don't want. He again managed to disgust me n hate him even more. How about his gangster business? How about his son?. Donny Daddy had a heart break so the family is leaving the city..😆😕 And this Taekwondo dude can't run fast enough to catch a clumsy old drunk dude? Who made him a gangster, Mumbai ka Sultan?! 😆
To add to tis, his entire family is gonna appear from thin air, just like he did. Why is everything so clunky around him..?? 😕
