Guys, this is going to sound weird. But I feel bad for Madhu.
I know she's not using her brain. I know she's behaving like an erratic moron. But think about it. She's literally been cut-off from the world. By her own choice? By RK's choice? Is there even a difference anymore? Let me explain please.
Here's the thing with emotionally abusive relationships. They don't work via physical force. The person manipulates you emotionally and mentally. They get to know all your little insecurities and buttons. But instead of respecting that knowledge (like loved ones do) abusers use it to their advantage. Literally everything is a lie. But they get to know you so well, know what makes you tick, that you dance to their tune. Quite how Madhu dances to RK's. They make you cry because they can. They wipe your tears because they can. They abuse you because they can. And then they laugh with you because they can. Every single horrible thing RK has done to Madhu has been consciously done.
I've known many women who've been raised to be strong and independent. But nothing in life prepares you for dishonesty that results from abuse of trust. Not trust related to fidelity and commitment, but trust related to one's soul. Letting that person know who you are, it's a powerful thing. Knowledge can be, and is often a weapon. With potentially harmful consequences. Especially in the hands of someone who does not care for your emotional well-being. It often takes the victimized person eons to realize what the hell is even going on. Basically, Madhu has become so lost.
And this is why I think Padmini needs to come to the wedding. She needs to be with Madhu. When Sultan walked into that room, Trishna and Padmini should have been with her. Whatever mistakes she makes are hers to make. But the worse thing you can do is remove your support. What has Padmini ended up doing? Leaving her daughter alone at a time when she needs sanity and support more than anything else. Instead she's surrounded by RK and all his devotees.
Honestly, Deepali is the sanest one in the mansion. Truth be told I've liked her form the beginning. The way she harps at Sikky. Her dialogues are snappy and cold. I'm not being a troll when I say RK and Deepali could make a good match. Except for the fact that, like I said, I like her. And I think she's better off with Sikky.
PS: To all Sulbala fans out here, don't loose hope. This pairing has been created amidst a non-marriage, and they will continue in the same manner. Most are ridiculing Sultan's shock. But see here's the thing. He wasn't heartbroken. He was taken aback and shocked. Here's an honest reaction to Madhu's decision. And its not based on a selfish desire to have her for himself. He thinks she's lost her mind. And she has.
