I think the new twist is something like Sultan is RK's step brother and his mother is Radha's sauten and somewhat reason for Mohan aka RK's father death. They are now back to revenge Kundra family. I think this can be possible.

Sultan's mother has a connection with RK's past.

. in toi article its written that she has immense hatred for rk n his family. so its her n bhai's plan to hurt rk.nw we wud cum to see true colors of bhai. they r here for revenge.
