Episode 274 Discussion: 17th May 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Note for Newcomers to this thread.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

Episode 274 Discussion - EOD Summary

Marriage preparations in full swing at RK mansion. Madhu in dilemma at RK's affectionate behavior, Dipali hurt by RK, wows revenge on Madhu

Events Of The Episode

1. Sultan in Darga refusing to go inside. Baba from dargah tries to pacify him but he is pouting because Allah did not grant him his wish. Baba explains God gives only what he deserves - nothig more nothing less. In RK mansion Sikki, Dipali are uncertain about their status in RK mansion. Radhaji followed by RK and Madhu hand in hand come home. RK declares that he will allow Sikki and Dipali to stay in RK mansion for 2 more days and announces his wedding plan with Madhu. Dipali is confused. Radhaji allows them to stay as well and reprimands Dipali to make sure that no action of hers disturbs any peace or harmony in the family. Next day Madhu is remembering RK's proposal and deep in thoughts when RK comes with 2 sherwanis asking her to choose.She answers halfheartedly to which he keeps chattering trying to draw her in conversation however she remains lost in her own thoughts.

2. Finally he notices it and asks her what's the matter. She denies anything's the matter and in return questions him about his random disappearances, this question RK stalls and asks her what she is hiding. RK offers for a simple and quiet wedding at RK mansion to which Madhu replies that she would rather go for a grand one with presence of media, presss, RK's collegeus and friends etc. RK keeps asking her about what she is hiding and this convo is interrupted by Radhaji who has come to present Madhu with shadi ka joda. Madhu is teary eyed at this. Radhaji shooe away RK from the room and then expresses her gratitude at the return of happiness in the house and prays it stays that way for ever. Madhu is increasingly uncomfortable at this.

3. Radhaji gets busy with wedding preparation. Sikki shows remorse and wants to be in good graces. Bittuji try to remind him of the party night, Radhaji asks him to make sure nothing goes wrong in the wedding. Sikki sounds profoundly grateful. In Sultan's house Aryan asks him when can they go back to dargah and Sultan says never. Aryan talks soothingly with Sultan and then father-son hug.

4. In RK mansion, while Dipali is walking out, RK walks in and stops her. He thanks her for leaving him. He says at first when they were together, he had thought that it was for keeps but then she left him leaving his world shattered. But if she had not, he would never have met Madhu. He also replies to Dipali's question whether he felt the same passion that he feels for Madhu today and the answer is a resounding NO because she is not Madhu nor she ever will be. Dipali is deeply hurt, holds back her tears. When she is back in her room, her demenaor changes. She is fuming with angry tears flowing. She swears that she will find some weaknes of Madhu and expose her in front of RK. She swears to herself that she will not spare Madhu.

Episode ends.

Madhu is still gunning for revenge.

She is going to (attempt to) make it bigger and better than RK's revenge. Most of what he did was between them in private, with chawl being a smaller part overall, though it caused more public humiliation. But Madhu -- media, co-actors, co-workers, family friends ... she is leaving no stones unturned. She is going to bring the entire world into this. Everyone is going to be a part of this.

I'm not sure if I approve or not simply because I have no idea what twist is planned in the story going forward. I can't even be sure if the wedding is going to happen.

Sultan didn't take out his anger on his son. I don't get it ... how did he change so fast from using his son as bait to openly showing his love for him? He lets him go with Padmini freely, whereas previously he refused to leave him alone with Madhu. What is this? Why are CVs intent on painting him as a "accha" person? I think I'll assume that showing him as a gangster was a necessary blooper.

RK -- what is he up to? Because he just seems too honest for me to believe him.. Or maybe I'm just steeling myself against everyone in anticipation of the upcoming twist.

Seema Mishra 👏 Amazing acting in the scene with RK. That sheen in her eyes of unshed tears. And the restrained tears in her room. I really liked her acting today. Dipali was too good. She refused to allow RK the pleasure of knowing he hurt her. She refused him the honor of having tears shed in his name. I hope she moves on and tries to make something of her marriage with Sikky. If RK can come out of his revenge then so can Dipali.

So we have Sikky trying to stop problems in the wedding and Dipali, armed with the knowledge given by Trishna+Padmini, who will attempt to stop Madhu. Who'll succeed? Will Sikky be able to control his wife? Or will Dipali finally come out on top?

Whatever dipali does always ends up getting rishbala together. So I do not have high hopes on her exposing mAdhu or stop wedding

Sultan always spoils rishbala moments , he s the one who will derail the wedding if mAdhu decides to forgive

1) i know people will kill me for saying this but rk-deepali scene was much much better than rishbala scene i swear👏

brilliant piece of acting by seema mishra...she's the best in the lot i have always felt...

2) madhu is drowned in guilt n confusion but her brain forces her to call media, press n the rest of the world...i think thats good...reason: sultan stands no chance to enter...if he has to do anything it will be before...n that i dont know how coz both r at rk mansion so in all surity it will happen on the way to venue...

(i can see the wedding happening...thanks to padmini and sultan 😳)

3) sultan - aryan convo i do not wish to discuss😡 slow n boring

4)rk has heard the chawl convo for sure...n obv he cares a damn except that he will marry madhu by hook or by crook 😊👏

precap: gives me assurance that deepali's tubelight is on finally n she will do nothing against madhu now...reason: rk is broken then its easy for her to go back to him 😆

Kudos to RK..kya plan hai shadi ka 🤣 "if i will wear both the shervani's i will look like a lollypop"🤣 helicopter par aaonga and phere in the helicopter with pilot and panditji 🤣 this will be the shadi of the millineum..only if bride and groom are present !

from RK-Madhu scene, i cud guess that Madhu is slowly melting..she was quite genuine in her scene with RK, she was not pretending with him or Radha..RK thinks she's hiding something...at least for the time being, we'll be spared from the plotting and scheming from all the characters and watch some light and senti moments of the wedding...that is, if CV's are meherbaan on us, otherwise i have no clue whether they will reach shadi mandap or no...

Sultan Aryan scene..MUTED 🥱 I won't be reviewing them from now on..but his scene in dargah was good thank you maulwi sahab .."ma bhi apne bache ko sab kuch nahi deti" 👏 if you get something , you deserve it, if you don't, it was never meant for you...

RK-Dips scene was awesome...He cleared her confusion that when they were together , he never felt this for her , bec. she's not Madhu..👏 liked Dipali very very much in both the scenes..she was not interested in chatting with him...and yes, she was spot on with Madhubala's weakness...mera dimag Dipali ki tarah chalta hai shayad 😆 i thought of the same idea and in the precap, she went to padmini and idiot Trishna disclosed Madhu's plan 🤪 I wish Dips was recording her voice this time ! Madhu will be trapped in her game..whether or not she's serious about marrying RK, he will think otherwise..will RK trust her? 😕 i dun think so..the very thought that Madhu was ready to take revenge from him should bring him back to senses..just leave her RK and let her come back to you when she's willing to...

One more thought about Dipali and RK scene..well, I can't make out whether Dipali is avenging her insult or she's concerned for RK...i think it's the former...little does she know that even if Madhu is OUT, she will NEVER be IN..for the first time she was in tears...amazing acting SM 👏 and VD too, usual RK style, i love his flying kisses..pata nahi phir kab dekhne ko mile

Destination: The Wedding

Target: RK 😎

So Madhubala is still trying hard to maintain focus on her mission

On the other hand, Dipali I think wants to prove RK wrong and get back at him for insulting her. And Sultan, the less said the better. I don't connect at all with him 🤔

So the stage is set, Dipali and Sultan will add more fuel to the fire 🤣

What remains to see is whether Madhu completes her mission or not !

But wait ! 😲 Where does RK come in all this? We'll know at the wedding ! 🤣

I don't know what this twist holds, but I just hope it puts an end to all this scheming and plotting ! 🤓

I'm sooo happy today! After a long long time I saw the old RK back. Not a frustrated drunkard, not a jealous meanie, not a man burning with anger. Today was the return of the confident and sauve RK 🥳 The zing is back in his dialogues. The childishness is back in his mischief. This is the same old RK who is so gentle and chiding with Madhu yet so ruthless with Deepali. This is the RK I fell in love with 😃

Madhu is struggling with her feelings. Radhaji's adoration is not helping matters. And RK's charm will work on her sooner of later. I'm feeling hopeful 👍🏼

Deepali was deeply hurt today. RK went for the kill! This is a wounded tigress now. She will do her best to expose Madhu before the wedding. Don't think Trishna's words in the precap will tell her something she didn't suspect already but she will use every weapon she can get. The next few days promise to be exciting.

Skipped the Sultan part and read the WU. That made it a perfect episode today 😊

If madhu walks out on rk in front of everyone in the world, what are her odds of people saying its justified, I will say hardly any, someone as huge as rk is on his knees for u and u walk out, how many in the mandup will jump to ur place??? Are u ready to face the world madhubala, world will not admire u for being the one who walked out on the golden opportunity.

I am happy that rk is not turning blind eye towards changed madhu,

"Luka chupi bahut hui saamne aajana"

I felt for dips today, am I wrong if I felt little bad for her. Is her relation with rk comparatively more deeper than sultan with madhu.

Baap beta duo interfering annoying dukhi aatmas

Rk and Radha were like happy kids, excited.

Ho hum episode...except for the RK-Dipali scene.

RK-Madhubala - Rating: thanda

RK kept up a steady chatter while Madhu looked distracted. And he finally noticed (lesson no 1: once you marry her, general rule, look for non verbal signals😆). He is definitely onto her...and she is too preoccupied to notice that he's noticing. He narrowed his eyes twice: once when she asked for a grand wedding, and two: when she cried looking at her shaadi ka joda.

Madhu is racked with guilt, she knows RK is genuine, she is looking at Radhaji's excitement. So what is she going to do? If you look at it from her perspective, it is a huge leap of faith to take with RK. I just wish she would make up her mind soon. 😡. Not much of DD...and use of BDs...must be practicing😊

Sultan at dargah - Rating: minus thanda. (Please accept this as a rant, i am not able to accept this character )

So Sultan is angry with God for not giving him Madhu? And thank you to the maulvi, who told him a few truths about wish fulfillment. Aryan-Sultan scene...blah...blah..blah (though Aryan is cute when he does not mention Madoo)

RK-Dipali- Rating- Hot

I loved their scene together. Because personally, from the time RK told Madhu at the lakeside that he loved Dipali, I've been patiently waiting for him to realise that he had never loved Dipali. And she was not worth it anyway, so why the trauma?? Finally, RK now knows that his scene with Dipali was never love. 👏. He tells her that very clearly. Loved SM...the hurt in her eyes when he tells her, it was not the same thing he felt. And a defeated, hurt, angry DIpali in her room...wonderful👏

SO we are juggling actually so many balls, we don't know which one will fall...the mystery deepens:

- Dipali knows its revenge

- Madhu is sure its revenge

-RK is guessing, but he just wants Madhu in his life

-Sultan is now angry with the world for denying him Madhu (hello, he is supposed to know it is revenge, why is he upset??)

-Padmini unhappy with Madhu's decision (she knows it is revenge, but is worried Madhu will not go through with it)
