"Faith" in rk or any character is...to put it politely...misplaced! Characters are not real. They do and say what the writer's write for them. There is a difference between implied character development when characters are referred to directly and talking about them as if they themselves decide what they do and as if the writers are fictional!! Until..the character does something ppl don't like then..its .."cvs are ruining the story!!" as if its the characters who have written the story and the cvs have suddenly become real!

As for rk not considering any other woman. I agree. The only woman rk does consider is dipali! That too is shown CONSISTENTLY by the writers. And if someone says..."oh then why is rk throwing out sikki and dipali out of the mansion" Then my response is..."throwing out of the house and being about to throw out dipali's INFLUENCE are 2 totally separate things!
I'd say remember it is the SAME person penning rk, sultan, dipali and madhu

The toxic junoon and objectification of madhu is ...not eternal for like I said...the writer can make up anything they want, but SO FAR AS it has been shown...rk is not capable of accepting losing and his psyche would consider madhu moving on in her life without him and especially with another man even as a friend (am not saying friendship is all that sultan feels for madhu) as losing and so rk will do whatever it takes. The the proposal and actions may seem romantic but the INTENTION is not love. The intention is to win. So ...yes in rk's mind..his story is eternal. But not eternal love but Eternal toxicity.

I agree that no one except the writers could say with certainity whether RK is faking or not, but at the same time whats wrong in hoping that he isn't faking?

I know that you too have every right to believe RK will never change but i just wanted to point out that you too are sounding certain about things which cannot be predicted. No offense!
