Wow what progressive mind you are , targeting an entire country for a serial because you do know what is shown. Bravo.

great post!

Some people over here want a woman remain weak and do nothin with her life. Her life should be devoted to a husband who doesn't appreciate her nor respects her views and not to forget her family🥱. she has to waste her life in the name of marriage which she gets nothin' but pain.Sultan has to remain a criminal cause that's a life he choose when was 8 years old. He is at fault for choosing that path, him dying out of starvation would be better than becoming a gangster at that age😕society should be happy if a person is changing , but I guess not over here. He is not even considered human 🤢both madhu and sultan have the freedom to become who they want and the type of life they want to live :)

I am sorry what?

I am an Indian and I have as much right to talk good or bad about the society and country I have grown up in!

If you do not have the stomach to take it all in - do not bash!

This is for constructive discussion - If you have anything sensible to say - say it and lets discuss! I have no issues if I am corrected! I will accept it humbly and learn from it! That is the only way to grow as a person!

For your comment - Yes I am a progressive Indian who believes in giving people who genuinely want to mend their ways a second chance - The character in the serial is only an example I have stated!

Your comment has proved my point - rather than focussing on the issue - you focus on what? The person who has made a point! LOL..and moreover...for lack of better argument - you target the person personally - so is this what you call progressive?

I so agree with everything you said @tm. The opinion that is largely help by the members of this forum , that Madhu should love him despite all he has done, cause she's the strong one, and he's weak is so ridiculous and cruel , it just boggles my mind.

But this opinion, can be , attributed majorly to the young crowd, the adolescents on this forum. I wouldn't know about the public in general, but yes , if we go by what is being shown on the indian television, then one can easily conclude its a regressive society.
And Madhu comes as a reassuring breath of fresh air, that a woman needs to and can so rightfully fight for her self respect. That there is in fact something like a 'self-respect' that needs to be kept intact in 'love'.

People confuse between Ego and self respect. RK stands for everything that is wrong about calling plain 'obsession' love, his actions are driven by a very unhealthy Ego. Not Madhu. Madhu's actions aren't propelled by ego, but by self-respect, which is a very very essential part of a healthy mental make-up.
How can you treasure a 'love' which does not allow you to look into the mirror? Which makes you shamefaced in front of your own self?

I endorse Madhu ,and her actions completely. and I hope they do show her ruining RK the way he deserves to be ruined. he is selfish and unmindful of anyone's but his own needs. No one matters, not his mother, not the memories of his father and not Madhu.
he reduced her to a pitiful object he discards or uses at will.

it is completely unacceptable, and bravo to the team for giving Madhu the dialogues which emphasize this difference,
I still think , the society ,at large, is coming out of this rut.. but it still needs to educate itself and its weaker factions about respecting woman and her wishes.

..and I love , love, the creatives for bringing in a gangster to contrast with the superstar. to show that profession and upbringing matter a lot, but so does the innate characteristics of a man/woman.

oh i so love them for not going the cliched hackneyed route of bringing another successful 'rich' dude, to compete with RK. it would have been shallow and ridiculous.
With Sultan , it enforces the idea of gratitude and responsibility. That a man who accepts his mistakes and rectifies them is essentially a man worth having.
That adverse circumstances may force a man into doing wrong , but they do not have the power to corrupt his soul ..and that such souls shouldn't be condemned but, identified and healed.

Rk is not the one who needs healing.. Madhu does.. Sultan does. they are the ones who deserve healing and love and compassion.

(PS: do apologize, but I cant check myself when emotions are running high😆.. thus long tedious posts)

Absolutely - Totally agree with your view!
I love the contrast of Sultan the gangster and RK the superstar!

I love both RK and Sultan - but I will not blindly support either! RK did earn my support but lost it when he played the revenge game! 🤢

Sultan so far has won my heart outright! 😳

Thanks for your feedback. As I said - I am ready to be corrected anytime...I speak only from personal experiences and observations...

I agree 100% ! He deserves a lesson more than a marriage! The proposal seemed to be more due to "I cannot lose" rather than "I Love Her" realisation..But I guess we will have to wait and watch!
