Madhu has been the epitome of choice, freedom, humanity and righteousness. She always took a stance against what she felt was wrong even if it got her into trouble. She always had humanity for others. Thus she risked her life to save an innocent child. She risked her life to save her enemy from getting hurt by the lights and in return injured herself in the process. She didn't even support her father when he was wrong.
We have seen the character go through many ups and downs. She has had one long and adventurous journey throughout the show. From witnessing her step-father almost die to almost getting killed herself by her actual father. The most amazing thing about this character (I feel others might disagree) is I have never seen her accept defeat. She got forced into a marriage and was treated like a servant in the house. Yet she never broke down in front of others. She always held her head up high and gave an equal fight in every battle she had to fight. She experienced heart break but it was not enough to bring her down. I have seen many girls go through the experience myself and I have seen them sit at home and cry for hours. But not our Madhubala she got right back up and decided to move on with life once again.
