Surprisingly, anybody not aware after watching today's episode would have felt that instead of DD, it was VD who was on leave...
puns aside, Kudos to the entire MB team and Drashti and of course her co-actors VD, SM, SD and all for having saved up enough of her sequences in advance that nowhere did one got the hint of her absence...
Coming to the episode, I would bifurcate it in two parts...
the former comprised what I would term as the "Aftermath of Madhu's act over RK" : Needless to say it had the desired impact...it gave a jolt to an otherwise nonchalant and not so sentimental RK...the entire episode unnerved him and perhaps for the first time there was a slight evidence of guilt...which made him go all out to impress and woo Madhu in his typical style when she woke from her sleep...What a reversal one saw, while it was RK who hugged Madhu as if holding on to his very life and never wanting to let her go...Madhu held herself back from being swayed by her own latent feelings for RK...
Raghuvir : loved the romantic poetic lines you gave to RK...from my side here's a retro what would be befitting him :
"tum meri ho, mere siwa, kisi ki nahi, khati ho kasam..." (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCfidlYn2G0)
let's move to the latter part, this I will call as "Dipali Crafted Situation for Madhu" : So Dipali gets an opportunity to throw the dice...and she throws it to her advantage by bringing up a dilemmatic situation for Madhu...wherein her motive stands in conflict with her righteous values...Whether she should perform the puja as the wife of RK...
Now for this I want to utter the verse uttered by Lord Krishna in "Bhagwada Gita" where Arjun was faced with the dilemma as how can he kill his own dear ones during the battle of "Mahabharata"...and Lord Krishna had this to say to him that "Karmanye Vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kada Chana", do your duty without worrying about the result...and your duty is to fight the wrong...and your dear ones are supporting the wrong...that's exactly what I feel about Madhu...she has come with the intentions of teaching RK a lesson...and for now that's her duty to obliterate all the negative traits that are ingrained in RK...
Finally leaving with singing praises of Drashti, how can you after making us go through an heart stopping moment, here you have a googly thrown at us by bringing out Madhu's dilemma with such conviction...
