I looked around as I waited for Liam to call me into his cabin, he called me this morning to talk to me regarding the leads I asked him about. I turned my head as he exited his office and walked towards me with a smile.

"Hey thanks for waiting" he spoke stopping before.

I stood to my feet. "Its ok"

He smiled at me then gestured for me to follow. "Lets go in and I'll explain"

He closed the door behind him asking me to take a seat, I settled on the chair before his desk whilst he went and sat down on his own chair.

"So?" I started needing to know if there was anybody following me.

"Its complicated" he started folding his hands before him resting them atop his desk.

"How? Um.. what do you mean?" I was confused by his words.

"Well going on the leads I've got. Someone had been having their eye on you from some time but it wasn't something recent but a few years back. And a few months ago they simply stopped following you" he told me which only made my eyes widen.

"Um.. er.. have you got a name or anything?" I asked.

He shook his head. "Not yet and I did try to get more in 24hrs but this is all I gathered"

I closed my eyes as the thoughts came pouring back into my mind. Who was following me all these years but suddenly stopped. "Alright thanks" I stood to my feet. "How much do I owe you?" I asked pulling my purse out.

"Its ok. I owe you, you put up with me for a year" he spoke softly. I smiled at him remembering how he'd lived with me for a year having no where to live I offered him a place in my own house since I had needed someone paying rent, though he didn't pay much it was enough to feed Alysia.

"Alright. See you" I headed out needing some fresh air to recover from the shock of learning someone had been following me all this time. But the question nagging me was who?

"You here finally?" Jenny looked at me.

"Well you didn't call and tell me of any clients" I shrugged and sat down on her desk not bothered.

"Here's your money" I gave her fee for finding me a client.

"Wow.. he must've given you a lot"

"He did. New to this so took advantage of the prick" I smiled remembering that SK or?? What the hell was his name? TK? RK? JK? Heck who cares?

"Whats the schedule for this week?" I looked at her.

"Not good. You're hardly being booked" she told me sadly, I knew how this works, if the regulars get bored you either find new clients or move to another agency.

"I wish I had some f**king knowledge then I'd get a damn job somewhere as something other than this" I groaned.

"Would you do bartending?" she asked after a moment.

"What?" I raised my brows.

"Bartending. My husband's got a bar, I could put in a good word for you he may just take you in" she answered.

"I don't drink. I hate the smell of that crap and hate having to deal with drunk bas***ds so thanks but no thanks.. anyways I'm off since I've got nothing"

"Madhu" she called as I reached the door.

I turned and faced her. "Hmm?"

"Here" she passed me a card.

"what is it?" I looked down curiously at the card.

"Another agency. Stella's quite successful in keeping her women busy all the time, she always finds new clients. You can go to her, tell her I sent you"

I looked down at the card. I could deny her right now and even deny this job and looked for something right now but a part of me said I couldn't. I turned and headed out.

As I stepped down my car I looked at the man stood inside my garden rapping on the door, I wondered who he was as I couldn't see his face as he had his back to me, locking the door I walked into my garden keeping my eye on him.

"Excuse me" I called softly so I didn't scare the person off.

He turned around showing himself, my eyes widened seeing the person before me, I was frozen to my place, I was completely numb seeing the person whom I'd never thought to see again let alone find him in my garden.

"D.. dave" I whispered still in shock.

He smiled at me, except it wasn't a happy smile but one that was sly. "Did you think I'd forgotten you?" he asked walking towards me slowly.

I stepped back. "What are you doing here?" I looked around wishing someone was around but it was highly unlikely as it was early lunch time.

"I think you've forgotten my payments"

"I don't owe you anything" I answered back sharply.

"Oh. Seems like you've forgotten. I brought you here, I got you this f**king job so you owe me a hell of a lot" he grit moving towards me.

"You didn't bring me here. You kidnapped me" I shouted pushing at his chest.

He gripped onto my hands pulling me to him. "Oh yeah. I did" He grinned.

"Get off me" I struggled to free my hands from his grip.

"I think I remember saying you owe me. How about you pay me by showing me your service?" he whispered dangerously.

I knew then what he meant.

"Let me go Dave. I'm not the same teenage girl who allowed you to rape me over and over" I grit narrowing my gaze at him, tears burned my eyes at the memory.

He only smirked, I kneed him in the groin pushing him with all my strength, rushing towards the house, I unlocked the door as fast as I could keeping my eyes on Dave as he struggled to stand up, I slammed the door behind me chaining the door. He's back that was the only thing going in my head. I was so confused and lost what was I going to do now? I slid down falling onto the floor, I cuddled my knees, I jerked slightly hearing his rapid thumps on the door.

"I'm not done with you yet! I'll be back" He shouted, then it went completely silent.

The unexpected is always around the corner of one's life, no one can ever predict where their life may be headed as something comes in the way.
