Toh Mard kaun hua? RK or Sultan? And who really deserves Madhu's love?

If RK really loves her, he has to change. Only then will he deserve her. And if Madhu's plan causes him to genuinely change, then only will it be okay for them to be together. Otherwise, if he remains as he is, and Madhu forgives him because she understands his eccentricities or because they have great chemistry or whatever, the serial will be sending a very, very wrong message.

Even if you argue that this is a serial and it's fiction and people are taking it too seriously.. fact still remains that impressionable people do watch these serials and when faced with similar situations, may equate the two and let some things pass.

And those who argue that RK's style of loving is "different," or try to explain it based on the experiences that he has had and whatnot.. sorry, but that does not justify his behaviour. His "meri biwi, mera samaan" thinking HAS TO change.. it's not funny. And if it does not change, he IS the villain of the story. Period.

I don't think that just because the current RK is horrible, Madhu should just run into Sultan's arms. A woman does not need a man that desperately. But I am glad that at least she has a friend in him. And if that friendship does become love, I personally think that would be nice...

However, that is NOT the point of this post - I am not trying to promote the Sulbala fandom. I just believe that people need to understand that some kinds of thinking cannot be justified and encouraged. The only reason why I have pitted RK against Sultan here is to make it easier to judge the one's behaviour in contrast to the other.

You can be a Rishbala shipper, and still agree that he is not in the right, for now at least.

nice post; the reason all of us want Madhbala to be with RK isn't necessarily because we like and approve of the current RK, but because we know that's not him and he's better then that. I want her to get her revenge and resolve all their issues before jumping into any kind of relationship with him. And yeah, i would much rather prefer her to be with a reformed and polished RK but it doesn't seem like the creators are giving us much scope for preferences.

What you just said makes perfect sense! 😊 But you might agree.. some of the things Rishbala shippers have been posting are insane - that's what I was reacting to.

And yes, if the end result of all this is going to be a Rishbala reunion, then the creatives must be more careful with how they handle the track.
