Nishi, I think he expects her to forgive him, just like that, going by Madhu's compassionate and forgiving nature. He is taking Madhu's good nature for granted. But, that is the max he can do. He is trying to apologize and fix things his own way. He takes such a roundabout route, bringing in Deepali, his mom etc. 😆

Madhu of course is not able to trust him again so easily.

just like that? matlab what do u expect him to do? 😆...give a long wala apology speech or beg on his knees (surely not his style but even if he does that its no guarantee Madhu will forgive 😆)...there is nothing he can do to undo that night...Madhu has only 2 choices - to forgive him OR not forgive him...
