Now rk should allow madhu to go to her house he should not intefer in her matters.She herself will come back to him.

This way rk is spoiling his image.

Reg. trp mostly saas bahu show gets more trp than the other show.Many aunties sees only those shows .In some shows i have seen more romance no story.MB is doing well even in trp race.Hope CV will not put the show down.

Lol! I don't know if you are clear either! Or if you have replied to me because I can't clearly remember the events of teh studio night! What date episode is this?

With regards to cvs. Yup ALL is for running the show for as long as possible. It only runs for long if it gets enough viewers. Now cvs have the usual methods of prolonging a serial...dream sequences, memory loss etc. Revenge is a new one, thats all. WHEN it was planned, ie from the beginning or suddenly when they realised oh oh...coming close to "happy ever after time" ie END of serial, better think of something quick!! I don't know!!

However, don't you think its irrelevant? They may have left an "opening" to take this down the usual route of lead jodi ending togather but THAT still doesn't mean it would be right!!

Perhaps we should have a competition...WHAT is a good enough reason for a man to do this to a woman? Good enough that she should take him back and throw her self respect in the dustbin.

Remember...if you don't have self respect, others won't have respect for you either!
If you can love a man so much...why can't you love YOURSELF the SAME?

@soaps but i don't watch this show for the social message it sends out to society! and neither do all the people you see that are negating your arguments in the forum. we watch it for fun!! if i wanted to watch something depressing like the ending you're envisioning then I'd watch a movie, but when people watch daily soaps they're looking exclusively for happily ever afters and only those. i'd somewhat be swayed by the picture your trying to paint if this show even fit the bill of intending to send any of those social messages you keep going on about, but IPKKND/MEIEJ are shows made purely to profiteer off of fan following; i don't see the creators sabotaging that just to make the point you've mentioned.

@soaps - actually the leading shows with high trps are not those love story dramas with hot handsome leads for young girls...its the saasu-bahu shows. Family audience and elder ladies are the one who gives TRPs.

Hi Ahaana! From what I remember he started the love game in the name of revenge, when he realised Madhu has feelings. That was after RK was shot and he saw signs of MB falling for him e.g: Watching him when he was not looking through the hospital window.

I thought that is when he started to using love on his revenge game. Correct me if I'm wrong. Then onwards Madhubala slowly started falling for him.

I agree with you there! With everything you are saying. But the point is:

1. SOME msg ALWAYS goes out if esp if it is sent repetitively. Whether its intentional or not.
2. Even if we watch for fun and don't look for a msg...most ppl do pick up things. The younger the viewer the most they are influenced.
3. Emmm not having watched saas/bahu dramas...do THOSE TOO end happy ever after? 😕
4. ALL serials and movies are about profiteering agreed.
5. I don't see the creaters sabotaging it either... BUT...

This lot have shown a LOT more CREATIVITY in the formulation of the characters and the story. Not only in that but have shown they are better manipulators of the viewers that a lot of other cvs/writers/production hses

My HOPE is that having advertised an iPhone so well and making it appear like a chinese android sometimes and sometimes as the original article advertised. Having portrayed the rk character as a pyschopath, AND still keep the show at no 1, THEY CAN GIVE THE VIEWERS A HAPPY EVER AFTER, and break new ground again by showing that the LEAD of the show is not necessarily the HERO just coz its always been that way so far!

is anti-hero good enough for you then? because them sending the female lead from one hero to 'another' kind of defeats the purpose of the point you want to send out to viewers.

It is good enough!! I have pointed out in several posts/replies that personally I'd like to see Madhu go it alone at the end. But I will own up here and admit to the same mistake you and others have made...

...that just coz we haven't seen something happen before, we can't forsee it now. After all it is realistic. (I don't see how they can succeed in showing Madhu go it alone..thats not a happy ever after. And considering the following Sultan gathered so quickly, I still think its more likely to go that way -at least for a track)

Most Indians never saw independence a possiblity for a long time and therefore did not support it, nor was it ever considered realistic that apartheid would end in S Africa. But likely heroes brought about change. Who knows perhaps the REAL HERO with be this lot (Production hse/writers)
No one else has ever come close to making a start in the past on Indian tv. Reasons to be hopeful even though odds against!

Thank you. Will try and watch it at some point in the next couple of days. From whats been said in this thread about what was shown and you saying about rk's mom's lecture...it does rather point at the revenge track being an "Eureka!" moment later rather than earlier in the day so to speak! But will watch the episode.

@soaps i wasn't going to reply back; but you seem to be sorely mistaken, when i say "anti-hero" i'm referring to RK and in no way am i supportive of the whole hardened criminal "with a golden heart" take on things. if RK is wrong for all the reasons you mentioned then Sultan is in no way, shape or form any better. see now i'm starting to doubt all the argument you made, you were a little to quick to jump on the Sultan bandwagon. That's the problem in the forum, you never know if you're talking to authentic feminists or just plain old sbala supporters looking to put RK down for their own purpose.
