Well said. This fact need to be accepted by viewers. On the name of fiction they cannot show anything of this sort. It indeed influences the audience. Madhu cannot be humiliated anymore. Its no fun watching anymore. CVs plz wake up

u say it n kept it straight forward ... seriously if people r not influenced by the drama n only think it as soap then these many fights would've happened here in forum ...people themselves couldn't prove their words of ineffectiveness...

n who told people don't take inspiration from tv n movie...there r hundreds of proved scenarios which influenced love, crime sadism, violence n many more in real life...people may say to shut the tv if it's so.but when they who don't get influenced as per them can't do his addicted ones can do??

hope media n entertainment channels promotes good msg rather then wrong theories

Awesome post... you have truly said everything that has turned me off about RK. It is going to be tough for the CVS to do a redemption track when redemption is not possible.

Amazing post. Loved it. I wholeheartedly agree to every single thing you say. I do not know what exactly is so hot about a guy who humiliates you and abuses you. You know I can bet anything that if the same person was not physically attractive people would have a very different opinion. In so many Indian soaps women let men walk all over them and such women are certified as what not.
My respect for any character stops at the very moment when they abuse or humiliate another person.It isn't even manly for God's sake! Victimising a woman and taking advantage of her weaknesses.
Even I don't want Madhubala to ever return to RK. If in the rare event he dies show true repentence she can forgive him but not accept him back.

To the TM,

If you don't like the character of RK so much, stop watching. There is no need to shout from the rooftops about your hate, or to denigrate those who are enjoying the show.

RK is what he is - he is not hiding behind to some dark past to justify his actions. He is a refreshing character in the stale landscape of telly soaps.

Why does everyone have to be a Sri Ramachandra or Sita Maa?

Dekhna hai to dekho. Don't bother otherwise.

The TM here has raised some valid pts. RK is not in my good books either. His character has turned from grey to negative and now he sounds more like a psychopath.

Its horrifying to see how the fandom is cheering to see the two of them together under the same roof in the name of romance and chemistry. Its sending a wrong message to the audience because all are not matured to make a difference between reel and real.

@TM: Here's a standing ovation you deserve!!! VERY WELL SAID!!! 👏👏 That is exactly what I was trying to say in many posts but failed miserably due to lack of appropriate words. People like RK do not CHANGE and this is a HARSH reality of life. RK has already displayed abundant traits of a psychopath. I thought that RK's revenge drama had a different motive but was a child's whim to break something that he didn't like any more. Classic symptoms.

CVs indeed should show the reality of Madhu standing her ground and not showing RK's redemption for he is NOT redeemable. There is a difference between a person realizing his mistakes or deeds and wanting to change and a person saying he has changed because he wants something back. People often say Love just happens. Then how come RK never realized his love before he took the revenge? How come he has suddenly realized his love NOW? And if he has realized then he should set his love free. If it comes back to him then it is true love else it isn't. Madhu being a sane and sensible girl would certainly realize the futility in loving such a person. She is already ready to move on in spite of knowing she loved RK from the bottom of her heart. I hope she isn't fooled the second time around because RK will surely show his true colors some time or the other. As you said, such people don't change. A real psychopath that he is.

Well said Merry!! Even the medium like TV, especially serials that have a broader viewership can be used effectively to let people know what is right and wrong. TV is not just used for News and entertainment only. It is a wider mass medium where the medium also has a social responsibility.
