Amritha, the online audience is usually not that great an indicator of TRP.
Even on IF, some of the TRP-topping shows have much less highly ranked forums.
TRP audience is largely comprised of people who will *not* bother to comment.
They'll simply switch to another show if they don't like what's being shown.
And if they do like what's being shown, they'll *show* that liking by *watching* every ep.
They generally *don't* bother to come en masse to the CVs social networking pages and praising them and telling them to please continue with the wonderful track.
The CVs need to stop insulating themselves with online response, and just take a look at the TRPs.
They should make announcements, not pay attention to the number of responses in a medium where it's far too easy for the responders to fake numbers. Listen to the wide variety of criticisms, and decide which of those you choose to rectify.
As for appreciation, ignore the online praise, and see what gets higher TRPs. It's safer and far more sure.
They should consider that most of the TRP topping serials CVs don't go networking with online audience even remotely this much, which reduces the chance of getting misled about audience preferences, and mistaking online responders tastes for the majority.
Even previously, the story experiment during the Mukund time had flopped.
The audience likes the lead couple together. Also, they may not like much negativity 'different' stuff at primetime.
And right now, the track-experiments and negativity is being stuck with perhaps imprudently.

Earlier peoples complained to ST on Twitter regarding revenge track n then Sultan crap but ST told us that they know what they are doing and peoples can choose option 'Not to watch' and see audience took his advise seriously and sincerely.

They should know that their shows runs because of audience and they cannot neglect audience feedback and opinions regarding the show.

Drop is coz of technicalities and not creative flaws. Yes Mr. RS...sure. Just like 'Ramgopal Verma ki Aag' had technical issues but no creative flaws.🤢 Else it would have beaten Sholay's record.🤣

Anyways, the fact remains that MB has less audience...more visible now that the real picture is coming out due to digitisation.
