I don't know the extent of the 'not referring to other serials' rule, but may I say that - unverified anecdote - not since "Kyunki Saas Bhi_"'s writers got harassed in public and blurted out in advance that 'dead' Mihir would be coming back soon and please no one should get so upset with them, has any serial writer written so unpleasant and emotionally upheaval a track as the 'twist'.

lol u mean Madhu fans will report all those threads where Madhu will b blamed more than RK?...LOL...there r places like Sultan and Sulbala ATs where RK is critized heavily with sarcastic comments, we dont keep complaining...whether they find it biased or whatever, its their opinion at the end of the day...why cant they make peace with other's POV and what right mods have to stop ppl from writing their views?
