LOL I didn't expect any replies in here, frankly...surprised to see any at all...thank you to those who responded and understood the point of this post.
To those who still think this is a "fav. defending" post...what do I say😆
Yes, my fav. character in this show is RK...but I'm not sitting here bashing Madhu for helping Sultan...I know the writers need to write up their story and mix around the characters...and they have their plan for that...I may not be be much of a Sultan fan but I don't feel the need to MANUFACTURE reasons to hate him and make RK sound like the greatest thing ever...which is what I sadly do see a lot of in this forum regarding Sultan...suddenly a whole slew of new members talking about how they used to like RK but since he faked revenge, he's persona non grata and Sultan the "noble" gangster who doesn't deal in drugs is just the breath of fresh air (translation: romantic element) that Madhu needs...lol
Sure Sultan is a breath of fresh air...considering the show has started a whole parallel underworld track away from the film world that is the crux of this show...it works for some, it doesn't work for some...I fall in the latter category...so what I simply do is wait for the scenes of my fav. character.
I don't feel the need to sit and lecture meanwhile about how Madhu is good or bad or idiotic for helping Sultan...jaisa uska character hai, this is exactly what she'll do...that is what is taking the story forward...that is what makes complications arise...now I don't know either whether I'll like these complications in the future or not...
The heroine track isn't starting anytime soon unfortunately although I'd have loved to see it at this point when Madhu was seething with hatred at RK...but I guess it's so much easier for the makers to paint Madhu as righteous poor girl...given the amount of sympathy she generates from the TRP junta as well as her huge fanbase for that very reason...so I guess heroine track is unlikely anytime soon.
Love triangle it is...but I wish ppl would lay off talking about "good" and "bad" in such black and white terms as I said...they are free to root for their fav. pairs, fav. characters...but for reasons such as these? LOL...ki oh this guy doesn't deal in drugs so that makes him a "good" gangster...lol...He's a gangster, period...why the "good" or "bad" attached to it?
And what does that have anything to do with who is "worthy" of whom?
As far as I've seen and understood the story, the writers have laid a very strong basis for the fact that RK-Madhu will always be pulled towards each other be it in hatred or be it in love...I don't see any point in sitting and listing out the good things RK did do cuz I don't think that's the point...to me, he's a character who's unapologetic about what he does and has entertaining dramatic flair...He doesn't feel the need to talk about any good he does cuz he sees that as a general sign of weakness...So he revels in the bad...that is the way he is...and Madhu is who she is...For good or worse, she's chosen to fall in love with this complicated man...and as far as I can see it, there is no real sign of her having managed to break off completely...which I guess is the whole point of the story.
The rest is embellishment...but these two lie at the heart of the story as far as I can see...so instead of trying to justify who is "good" and who is "bad", maybe it's better to accept the inevitability that "good" or "bad", some characters are just meant to be together. This is a rare show that's done a very good and credible job of writing grey...and I wouldn't like to see that ruined based on fan demands.
LOL I guess that was it...I didn't know where else to ramble about this so had to make a post in frustration.
