I'm thinking of one serial that it's actually the reverse, the girl is the one that is difficult, doesn't want the marriage and sees it as a block to her becoming an IPS officer, thought the man was beneath her and didn't want him, later on she is discovering his qualities, so in that serial it's the girl that's more educated then the guy and finally accepting him rather then the other way around.

But we are not allowed to compare serials or characters so will not say too much, that serial is Diya Aur Baati Hum.

Oh yeah, I remember...I read the plot but no offense to anyone the plot didn't interest me much. But I'm wierd I like things that are very different from each other. Mb, veera (saw 10 mins., it was so cute...made me cry!), taarak mehta. See very different from each other!

nice post..the main reason is the trp aunties will never accept a woman being arrogant..they all want a woman to be mahaan..taking all the insults and keep the family united..so the cvs have to present the story keeping in mind the trps which can make or break a serial...😔

That's true, but even she doesn't have dark shades & now she takes all crap from her mother-in-law. Whatever you told me or is/was shown in that show was because of her wish to become IPL officer.

We actually do Not have any female lead with grey shades and all.

We might see in Madhu, but even that we will be shown why she became like that. No show has ever shown a female lead as dark from the beginning, but male leads are shown anti heroes from the beginning itself & only 2-3 scenes of his past are needed to make audience feel bad for the way he has become & all feel bad for him. 🤣 And that's how Such male leads get accepted, But I wonder female leads would've been accepted just like that if they werre shown negative. 😆

Female leads already get bashed even if they are Mahaan, so just imagine, if they are actually shown having dark shades, then audience might be actually wanting to kill her.🤣

Still we don't know if they will be accepted with trp audience, so makers can at least try ...It's boring to see the same circle repeating in all shows.

Yea, I didn't mean the slapping part in that way. I said it because it's too common in all shows. 😆

I think Madhu compare to other females is still way more a realistic female lead. She never takes anyone's crap like how Gopi others do. Madhu does raise her voice. That's why I find her realistic enough, though she she fell in love with RK. And that's when she was shown to Mahaan because she forgot what he had done to her & Family. Love is Blind! 😳

lolz i know you didnt mean it in that way dear, i was just pulling your leg😆😳

Actually she did take her MIL's crap remember when radhaji was really pissed off at madhu and wanted her kicked outta of the house. And eating sargi from the trash and bearing radhaji insults over cooking cuz she though madhu would poison her dear rishu. But true she is way more realistic compared to gopi vahu. And she does know how to shut up her opponent. She should have never forgiven radhaji so soon, fell for rk, or went above or beyond for that mukund. Yep love is definitively blind.

It is pretty much the blame game going on. The creatives blame the audience and vice versa. I personally believe it is the lack of perspective. An expert has boiled down his ideas so much to fit into the mold of what is acceptable in the corporate world, that they lose touch with the creativity that drove them to writing in the first place. A lot of writers still have that imagination, glimpses of which we see in MB time and again. The issue is, thinking only through your mental constructs, imposing your moralities on the characters who have potential otherwise. If the writer's ideal female is a certain way, he will write to make the lead similar. The key is to have a diverse writing team, with females and males, from different backgrounds, lessen the channel pressure on creating a certain genre of TV.
My thoughts are scattered but, I know for a fact that TV is competitive and star plus will try to top that new 8:30 slot and colors and so forth. If the TV channels are breathing down the PH's throat, they tend to give in and go with the trend. It is not one person but a whole team that goes into making & breaking a show.

I really hope so. I don't know why they are delaying it because they were actually making her heroine in the first month of MB itself, but even before they could start the story, the trps fell. 🤣 So to control the trps falling trps, they brought fast forced marriage track since heroine track needed time.

That means there is a lot to show post Heroine track if they were actually making her heroine in the beginning of the show. The show is a tribute to film industry, so most probably everything related to Film industry.
I hope we don't see love crap again there as well!! 🥱

In All Dirty picture, ,Fashion, Heroine movies, they did have love tracks,, but the movies concepts were related to what happens in film Industry! I hope it's similar here. It will be a fresh change & actually fit the concept of the show. The love track is already showing & will be during heroine track as well, But they shouldn't forget the main concept for it! :)

1. Woman going through insults is okay with fans n TRP people are too okay with it..as they can their own pain there...men look hot angry n past justifies whatever they do...

2. Who will cry buckets after sacrifice if female lead is not mahaan..tum bhi na kuch bhi soch lethi ho it seems..

3. I guess since female leads are mahaan they need to bajaofy mandir ki ghantti every now n then...always showing mandir sounds too cheesy...so easily available male lead cheek is used for the same..

4. They hate each other so they can have long stare..throwing fire balls...which people call chemistry...

5. I simply love to see female leads with grey shades...my favorite these days Anamika - sexy hot chudail...
