Lol ritzi RK is indeed lighter tone of grey. Logo se yeh grey shade RK ka bardasht nhi ho rha agar woh grey jitna grey ho gaya ppl will either commit suicide or will murder RK
Arey 3rd part mai grey was tone down, bit softer & caring

i have not read wuthering heights but have read 50 shades 😳 one of my first post was rk 50 shades of gray the part where he takes madhu to bathroom n wants to go inside with her this was from the 50 shades christain also wanted to go inside the bathroom with ana but she was not having it.
I find some of rks characteristics are the same as christain its nice to see n can relate to rk.

anyway wonderful post i will have to read wuthering heights now to compare 😆

Good one Shrish. ddi you get your modem finally? 😆
Yeap I already made post n many others said RK is like Heathcliffe - a LOT actually. he has all the self destroying and also destructive love kinda nature Heathcliffe had and he ends up suffering loosing his love.
50 shades i read 1st book and 2nd half and i gave up.. not my cup of tea 😆
but i do agree Rk has certain shades of Grey specially in case of being extremely possessive about the person he loves, extremely passionate and control freak and also narcissistic. but difference is RK is much much polite and decent version of Christian Grey but i find more similarities with Heathcliffe actually.

No tanzie I m still without modem . I wrote this post in my mobile so hats off to me lol
The first thing I'll do if I get my modem is to visit shops & put hot siggie in my dabba 🤣

I know thts y I said he is combo of both
He is destructive like heath & passionate, possessive like grey though I agree he is far far lighter thn grey
But I can c RK is direct inspiration from these two
CVs can not show RK completely like grey as it is beyond acceptance from Indian audience as he was physical abuser too
So ya RK is light tone of grey & a complete destroyer like heath

Haha

shrish i so agree with you...heathcliffe and grey are my fav characters too...they have their own qualities...more in darker side...and RK...u nailed it right...his character has qualities of both...

i have read both the books...so i know how the minds of male lead works 😆 and RK is definitely like them in many ways

when i watch RK onscreen i do sometimes think of grey and heathcliffe at that time...loved your post shrish🤗

P.S: looks like u have read 50 shades properly and u loved the raunchy raunchy ding dong 🤣
