That is something I don't get either...Frankly that is the only thing that draws me to this show...a character as complex and layered as RK...watching his struggle with his darkness, his ego, his own twisted ways of caring for the ppl he loves...

And the writers continue to surprise me with how WELL they've walked that fine line with keeping true to RK's character without making him sappy in love...It is not going to be easy at all to break his ego but the drunk scenes also show us that inherently he's a very CONFUSED soul...he doesn't know how to recognize or deal with his emotions and his love for Madhu...this is a man who didn't speak with his mother for almost 20 years in his hatred...

Push and pull equations are my fav. kinds when done well...and this show is a rare case where they are done well without being contrived in a typical sense...Right now, the writers are doing a good job of showing an RK subconsciously realizing what he's lost and a Madhu giving it back to him while their basic being drawn to each other quality also remains intact...So I don't understand why the fans complain so much...what DO they want to see? An RK in pain...check...a Madhu standing up for herself?...Check...so why exactly is all lost?

Cuz there isn't romance and a song sequence happening everyday?

Anyways redemption IS happening slowly and steadily...but RK can never do anything in a straightforward manner so it takes a bit more INTUITIVENESS to read the thought/heart behind his actions...his actions are screaming out his state of mind these days anyways.

@AY-WORD! You should write more often here. Many of us need good writers like you who analyse the characters so well. People here will misunderstand our conversation as GLORIFYING RK's actions -_-

Anyway, RK has never gotten physical with Madhu to show his so called passion and intensity. Their fights are so well written that they spit out passion through words without getting physical. And people should be happy that indian television is for once experimenting with characters rather being cliched(GUL).

@bold: Exactly what surprised me and drew me to the show...the focus on characterization and CONVERSATIONS b/w the lead characters rather than the usual cliches...cuz otherwise toh all male lead characters are cookie-cutter produced in the Gul Khan factory of "macho-ism"

In the soap world, as long as they keep the spice quotient up, I will watch with interest. I am enjoying watching a jealous RK. Love Madhu in this avataar. and I find sultaan very HOT. All in all, lovely back-to-back episodes😊

@AY- And finally actors got a show where they can show their acting talent rather create useless evergreen chemistry -_-

The charm of watching this show ended when the cvs brought in the revenge track. For me the magic of the beautiful pair Rishab and Madhu ended with the unwed drama followed by the unnecessary humilation the female charcter was put through.

My question to all the Rishabala fans, how do you want RK to redeem himself to Madhu and even if he does do you want Madhu to go back to RK? Before you answer, I would ask you one more question,

would you have done the same if you were treated in this similar manner?

If your answer is affirmative then I would say Rishab and Deepali's love should also be given a chance if Deepali reedems herself to Rk. In this case, they atleast had genuine love for each other until Deepali chose fame over love.

Everybody is talking about redemption, but how?

Nice post I love DD has started watching the show for her, still have watched the show open heart no hate with anyone but I was loving RK -Madhu after slow change in RK char positive way, when revenge track started n RK was using very very bad words one time I was really feeling Done with RK char , as women I would have on her place I may not forgive him ever n she herself told how to believe again fir kuchh plan hoga this step is really hard move by cv's they did't think how ppl will lie RK char again after doing this, , at this moment I just want Madhu t be alone and rise I really not in condition to forgive RK at this moment or make Madhu jodi with anyone else, but Kahte hai show n movie main PH are everything wo hero ko zero n zero ko hero bana sakte , mujhe lagta ye ise show main h rha hai, after this move they really make RK zero in one night so now redemption is reality difficult, after watching redemption track only I can say MAdhu should forgive him, how cvs is going to show it, but as I know a Madhu loves RK so much she can't Love anyone in same way so her marriage will be compromise only that also I don't want, but still I am watching the show with open heart so liking New entry also but not like pair at this point of time

RK is crazy and so is Madu. She was after Rk for that whole accident issue and everyone wanted her to leave him alone, everyone begged Madhubala to leave RK alone including her fianc but she just cannot let him win. Since they met for the first time they cannot stop going at each other and I don't think any new guy can change that. That is why when RK said he was with her for revenge, i was not very surprise even though he is stuck in his own trap . Madhubala can go on to be as big as RK but when it comes to him she is not very rational. They are obsessed with each other, either unconsciously or not and that is why we cannot stop watching. They are two lions coming at each other and no one can come between that battle, since both of them believe they are capable enough to dominate or win against the other.
