@bold: I agree..
Had stopped watching the show even much before that, but this put a full stop to Rishabala for me.

As to the other question you asked... No, I would forgive anyone who behaved like this towards me. Where is the trust, respect? A big no no from me..

🤗

Hey Sonu, thanks for agreeing with me🤗
This revenge track has left a bitter taste in my mouth. Unfortunately I am still glued to this show. This is first soap I have been following religiously after a long time but I guess I need to watch a show leaving my brains out and develop no emotional attachment to the characters no matter what. Learnt it the hard way :).

I don't know what I would like in future but one this is common in here...

if RK is to b pointed out for his mistakes it's just show...n we shouldn't find logics but with Madhu it becomes reality n has to b bashed...

so just chill n take it easy dear...let CVs do their work..@the end TRPs n their earnings matter...

Thank you all for your comments! I guess it won't be possible for me to reply each of you individually. So I am leaving a note for all.
Thanks to all the people who have agreed with me and liked my post.
And for those who haven't, your arguments are strong and very compelling. Many of you have emotional attachment to the Rishabala jodi for which I have utmost respect.

I have had a change of heart and I do not think my equation with this jodi will ever be the same.
Its the women in me that refuses to accept that Madhu should ever go back to RK after the humilation and insults. But this is strictly my opinion and I am not the writer of this story. What Madhu does will depend how the writer wants to carry the story forward. I am not Madhu's mother, philosopher or guide.
Regarding this show being a fiction and should be seen in that light as it is meant to be a source of entertainment, then I would have to say we should not be complaining of Sultan-bala love story if there is ever going to be one. Because in the history of both hollywood and bollywood movies there has been love stories made between the bad guy and the innocent girl which were highly successful movies and full of entertainment.
I would like to mention Areyaar, your post were treat to read, indeed RK is a very intriguing character and very difficult to analyze.
Rishabala lovers, I am sure RK and Madhu will be together after RK's atonement and redemption if that is the cvs shows it that way. My liking or disliking will not change anything.
For me, trust once lost is lost forever!!!

Seems like I am very late on this thread. But will write my 2 cents.

The story was never supposed to be a bed of roses. RK was never supposed to be an ideal TV hero and a dutiful husband. His character is way too complex, has has more layers than an onion. So, those who signed up for a fairy tale romance, will be thoroughly disappointed. So, according to me, redemption is possible. RK can redeem himself, once he experiences the same pain that he inflicted on Madhu and then he has reach a point of realization of love, where he will be able to set her free, if she is not willing to accept him. Then his redemption would be complete. But he will always be a GREY character.

As for what would I do in real life, I would not have taken panga with a superstar in first place. So, this situation won't arise. If I still have to answer this, IMO, nobody can answer this question unless they are faced with the situation. I believe that true love can conquer everything and has immense capability for forgiveness.
