Okay, I am back & I have decided. I think the character of RK is brilliant. However, he is a person I do not wish to have the misfortune to come in contact with.

I have two conflicting views that I wish to address today. Allow me some time to formulate my thoughts and I will be back soon enough😊

RK the person is a self-absorbed, fulfilling, aggrandizing (insert an adjective for all things villainous). The alpha of the pack with man servants available at his beck and call. Along comes a woman who challenges him & naturally, he does not take her actions too well. So, he conquers her much like everything else in life. He has petty problems, non existent ones I'll say. But, he views the world through his drunkard distorted vision: one that tunnels to focus only and entirely on HIM. He a narcissist, not a borderline but a full on narcissist. He wants the spotlight on him 24x7, for reasons good or bad, he could not care less. The universe revolves around RK, the morning star & the moment a petty being threatens to obstruct that order, he strikes. His mother was his first victim, Madhubala his current toy, who knows what the future holds? But, right now, through my looking glass, he is the darkest shade of grey.

When he had respect as an actor, he was haunted by unrequisted love. When he got the love he wanted, he turned around to face the old life. His goal in life is centered around esteem and love. What he fails to realize is, he cannot have one without the other.

RK the character is one of the more commendable sketches from the MB creatives team. He has a past, not too appalling yet, difficult enough for the audience to feel sympathetic. He does not get along with his mother but, he respects so, we see hope of a reunion in the future. All this insight into his alter ego Rishabh gains sympathy and empathy for his current state of being: being an ego-centric.

We see his is capable of love, he is able to forgive, he able to open up and talk about his feelings. We see he can romance and that he cares not only about his lover but also her family. Suddenly, he is cheerful. He is the good guy. He is everything we ever wanted in a hero. Just the right amount of sass, shyness and flirtation.

He can be vulnerable when out of his comfort zone. He becomes the metro fool in the country village and he is adorable. But, he cannot go being the good guy for too long. There is more to him than meets the eye. This was all a plan: the love, the feelings, the romance. He says he is an actor and we are supposed to believe him. No, I am still in shock. He has thrown a twister at us.

This is worst than peeling an onion. SO MANY LAYERS!

There you have it, I am in love with RK the character and I strongly dislike RK the person. And you?

You have so nicely so so so nicely... said it all...🤗

For me.. He is the most interesting character... ever on Indian TV...💔 A character whom you would LOVE TO HATE... (But can't).. and HATE TO LOVE.. (but you can't) ... he is so .. so so so so uniquee...😉

and for a person. I really Doubt a person like him would ever exist on the Earth.. and that too with such a PLACE ... I mean a SUPERSTAR..😲 but even then... it's VD's effect that I cannnooottt.. just cannoott.. HATE him... 😆

But, yeah.. as a person.. I won't want to come into contact with him.. ! 😳😳 (Yaar... Dil par patthat rakh kar ye kah rahi hoon) 🤣

One of the more intriguing ones I'll say.

As a person, there is a big question mark on his sanity some times. People like him do exist as much we would like to think otherwise.
But, yeah.. as a person.. I won't want to come into contact with him.. ! 😳😳 (Yaar... Dil par patthat rakh kar ye kah rahi hoon) 🤣
Have at it I suppose. My bad boy phase was short lived & long gone. Thank heavens!

Awesome Post

RK's character is the most unique character ever created for a male lead in Indian T.V.Serials.

Vivian is portraying this role most Amazingly.

RK is really unpredictable. If Viewers/Fans think for the time being everything is going well with RK we will be shocked to see the earthquake created by him.

RK's brain took control of RK and we had the recent situations and his heart failed to make him understand that his and Madhu's life will be shattered due to the consequences of his actions.

The day will come when RK's brain will give him the message to just recollect the words spoken by him to Madhu during the first 3 episodes of revenge track.

That moment will be the critical moment when things will begin to move in a new direction.

RK has immense potential. Hope CV's will bring out the best of RK.

wonderful insight ...that is why this serial is addictive...we have seen best and worst of this character but still waiting for what cvs have in store for this character

ermm. well intended comment. I am not following completely but that is only because I fail to infer the heart mind analogy. Even so, at the heart of what you are saying stands an explanation (hopefully for the character not the person). I would agree with that.

I am almost off the drug (the show that is). I am very much addicted to the forum & get all my news from here.
