Vipisa, I agree with you theoretically. But in practice, it doesn't work.
Most of the fights start with genuine misunderstanding and then blossom into a mess.
We all care too much about the actors and characters for most of us to accept criticism of them.
We can't think about being objective etc.
I feel hurt if either of the two actors or characters are criticized, so I avoid outright criticizing posts.
Some feel that way about both, some about just one. But anyway, feelings of fellow forum members get hurt. It's not worth it.
And some would still like the freedom to criticize.
So best way to avoid fights is to avoid the criticism/mocking/etc post completely.
Everyone would get their freedom of speech, just not facing off against each other on the same thread and creating bad mood on the whole forum.
