Oh so Miss Madhubala was responsible for Rishab dad's death. Deepali Bhatia thought with a wicked smile on her face. She was standing outside Rishab's room, just to know the history of Madhu and Rishab. Her Rk. She was scared that Madhu might take away her Rishab from here. But here he was the one who hated Madhu for the loss of his life....
Don't worry Madhubala, i won't let you both come close ever. I doubt Rishab would have any feeling for you. And even if he will, i'll crush them all. He' s mine only mine.
...
Shocked by that sudden turnaround of events, Madhu turned and quickly moved back near the table, where Rishab was standing facing her. She moved too quickly for her ill-fitting shoes. She stepped out of one shoe, having forgotten to clench her toes in it for staying power. 'What is it?'
'What is wrong with your shoes?'Rishab demanded impatiently as she lurched to an uneven halt to put her foot back in them.
'They don't fit.'
'Why not?'
Madhu's face became red due to embarrassment.'Everything i'm wearing is second hand.' dhe admitted weakly.
Distase filled Rishab at the mere idea of wearing someone else's clothing.
Rishab pulled his wallet out, withdrew a chequebook and after filling it extended it to her. 'Buy yourself some new clothes and shoes' he told her drily.
Madhu was agahst at the gesture.'i can't take your money. And there is nood need to feel sorry for me.' she said with anger in her voice.
'you're planning to refuse your salary?'
'No, but that's different,' she argued.'It's not personal.'
'This isn't personal either. You might try to sue us if you have an accident and you're not much use to anyone round here when you can't even walk properly.' Rishab said without hesitation. He knew her too well. She would never take favours, so this was the only way to make her agree. ' And I don't like my employs dressed shabbly like you. Plus you'll be doing a lot of walking.' he added plainly.
'What are you talking about?' Madhu felt bad the way he talked about her clothes.
He handed her a sheet of paper and a credit card. She was close enough to pick up the sent of his colonge and note the built of his musculature below his shirt, as he leaned forward compensating the height different bwt them. At over 6 feet tall he towered over her over her five feet five inches. All to readily, however, she remembered the warm, solid feel of his muscular chest below her palms. When he came closer, she still wanted to touch him. She felt guilt at the thought about the way she had once behaved in his presence.
'Since i've recently taken over this company, I'm throwing. a party for my staff and associates. Deepali Bhatia will give you all the details and you will follow them." Rishab said.
Madhu saw him flich at Deepali's name.
'The party will be at my residence. And I'm sure you would have no problem in locating it. Ok?" Rishab asked. He looked at her and suddenly seeing her beautiful eyes and the way she bit her lower lip in confusion he wanted to her. He wanted to bed her so badly it almost hurt to think that he could never have her. It had been so long since a woman affected him to this viscerel level. The last time he'd been with her...
'You want me to go shopping?" she queried disbelievingly. 'But i'm not a girly girl.'
'Nevertheless if you want to retain employment here you will do as you're told." Rishab countered drily.
Madhu flushed, nibbling at the soft underside of her lower lip. She looked at him with suprise. Not understanding why he wanted her in his house again.
" Don't do that with your mouth...and don't look at me like that.' Rishab chastised. Don't play the temptress with me. Been there, done that.'
'Let's get this straight now, Rishab.' she bit out furiously. 'I'm no longer that silly infatuated girl you once called a tease. I' a whole lot wiser than i used to be. What happened that night wasn't entirely my fault. You came to me, you kissed me because you wanted to, not because i somehow made you do it.' madhu shot back with anger.' Lets behave like adults. Why do you want me to organise the party?'
Madhu asked. This was something that was bothering her.
' Because thats what you use to do always. Remember. My dad used to love the arrangements done by you. He loved your fresh style of organising the parties. And i expect the same from you.' He answered her. ' And yes, you have grown up. Indeed.' Rishab remarked silkly, having the last word.
