So finally watched today's episode and DAMN !
Were the CVs hit by this sudden rush of adrenaline that it very well reflected in the episode ?😆

I mean throughout all I saw was some action, dishum-dishum, and absolute craziness!

Sultan just made a flying entrance from the water defying any form of gravity 🤪 By now I should be used to this in MB land, but no, the rational thinker is still there. So today onwards, I switch completely over to my insane side while watching this show ! 😎

Throughout the episode, only two things stood out to me as far as story progression is concerned:

1) Madhu is praying once again and you see Sultan emerging. That does not look good at all! It was rather just some more foreshadowing of the danger that awaits. It's going to take Madhu a lot more than chanting a few verses to be able to face this!

2) The whole thing with Madhu saving the boy, and then being chased by the goons just seems like a trap to me! It's as if though they were waiting for her to come save him.

Can I just say I'm completely awe-struck by Madhu? And no I'm not being sarcastic at all! ⭐️

She's impulsive, she's insane, and she can completely drive you crazy by her actions. But end of the day, she has her heart in the right place, and I rather find her inspiring!

Yeah, I admit her actions can sometimes be questionable. But that doesn't make her a fool.
When she saw the boy looking helpless, she could've by all means just turned around and kept walking away. This would've been the easier option.
But no, her gut instinct told her to go save the kid and I actually find that applaudable. 👏Now whether this was all set up by Sultan is a different story. But taking everything at face value, I immensely appreciate Madhu's daredevil act. Because it takes a lot to do what she did! I mean, Sultan shows up, points a gun at her and tells her to let go of the kid. Instead of doing what he said, she refused and tried to resist.

Even in the most disjointed episode in the show the CVs still kept Madhu's character intact!

I know she lands herself into trouble. But these troubles also did find their way to Madhu as well.
Now a normal person would've walked away from it. But I think it's already been proven enough times that Madhu is anything but the simple girl she claims to be (and I wish she soon stops calling herself that! ) Even RK was quick to realize that craziness in her and that's what really attracted him to her.

During RK's fake love confession to Madhu, he told her that if he is crazy then she is a lot more crazier than him.
And what did we see post the revenge drama? We saw Madhu get back up on her feet and try to continue with her day-to-day activities. She was determined to bring back that lost happiness. She even took up the challenge with RK. From my POV, I can only garner more respect for her.
And today once again she proved that she isn't someone to be underestimated.

Seriously, if I had all this time been seeing a show about a simple, normal girl, then I would've been totally flagger-basted by Madhu's actions today.

But no, I'm watching MEIEJ, where both leads are completely badass, and define insanity in their own ways. And no, insanity does not equal stupiditiy. At least, not for me 😆

Everyone's pretty much covered why this episode isn't exactly memorable...so I won't get into that. What I couldn't help but do while watching was comparing RK and Sultan in the very few glimpses we got of Sultan today. He doesn't say much, but it is very clear that Sultan is a intelligent and controlled character, just like RK was until very recently. RK has always been two steps ahead of everyone, and maybe its because his character seemed so mysterious, but I think Sultan is no different. What is different is how they both react to Madhu. A lot of people brought up the scene where Madhu bites Sultan and indirectly compared it to the scene where she slaps RK four times. When RK was slapped, the cool, collected, manipulative persona that was RK vanished, and the anger and to an extent humiliation he felt was obvious on his face. Even when she gave him that fifth slap, he reacted furiously. But, when Madhu bit Sultan, he didn't react, still keeping that poker face, as though he was almost amused. Just a food for thought...

On another note...one of the many scenes today that didn't make any sense to me was with RK yelling Madhu's name and threatening to set the forest on fire and throw Bittooji in it if he called the police. First off, why doesn't he want to involve the police???? Is he taking his role of the Dabbang police a little too seriously and planning to go all Tarzan on us and search for Madhu himself?????

sultan is rk's enemy right?
is it the same guy bittuji talked about once b4 rk got shot
oops madhu is in danger
but what's the problem between them
is it related to that kid's disability?

Agree with all of it. And everyone here almost sees the same thing.

@bold
I am going to post here what I responded to nlm4.
"
On that note...yes saving a child is brave deed. Watching the drama I had these two feelings.

  • I add her to the list of President's Bravery Award medal of honour for saving the child. These awards are presented to people on Republic Day. I was not being sarcastic when I mentioned it in the ED thread.
  • By the end of the episode, Madhu sure looked to be posthumous candidate for Bravery award. Again I was not joking. Watching the R'Day functions since childhood, I used to listen to the bravery stories of the survivors and those who died in that feat.
"

More on that...

Stupidity? Or was it a masked Strategy - EP 212

Why Madhu's character became repugnant to me, you will get the answer if you read that post (link given above) and especially if Madhu has a little thought added to her gallant mind.

Did you read Arms and the Man , the play by G B Shaw. The way he writes about the Cavalry charging against Gun-Powder holding Army ? Its just that inspite of how gallant one can be, we can also not ignore, that by looks of it, it sure was stupid to stand upto a man who was pointing guns to you...well forgive me that was not stupidity...what was stupid was hitting head on the tree...like the Inspector of Pink Panther Series.

On serious note...again for TRP audience.
I don't question Madhu's gumption about saving a child. I question her gumption about trying to counter a man with gun who she thinks may be threat to the child. And yet because she kept on fight by CV's standards of gallant act, she could have ended up being shot in the forest. And just because she is not shot and is seen waking up from the bed...the TRP audience can very well say...Madhu, now you have lot of minutes to think now. THINK HARD ...why are on the bed ? Why not lying dead in the jungle or waking up from the faint in the jungle.

@ Shri

But did she have the time to think? Or rather say, was she even in her right mind?

When instigated, she reacts. And that too her reactions can take the situation to a whole new level. Unless she's convinced, she doesn't stop.

You mentioned on Monday about how out of all days Madhu had to go through those bad experiences of harassment during that particular episode. Furthermore, even at the start of today's episode her mind is once again marred by Dipali's words.
So right away it establishes the setting of the protagonist being unfocused and completely lost in her own thoughts. I mean, she seemed so unsure about herself.

Now you put her in a jungle. She's just saved a kid. A man comes up to her, points his gun at her, and tells her to let go of the kid.
What could've transpired through her mind at that point when she refused to oblige?

a) The man is of danger to the child, and he could shoot her regardless of whether she let go of the kid or not.
b) As far as she, herself, is concerned, she has nothing more to lose. So she can put up a fight for this kid, even if it means risking herself (when did she care enough of about herself?)

And this is where her core traits of being self-righteous and acting on instincts surfaces and takes complete control of her mind.

Of course, she makes the blunder of hitting her head on a tree and fainting. But that's the result of her unbalanced mind.

I probably don't make any sense. But I find it hard to accept her actions as stupidity. It was rather instinctive and required of the situation. 🤔

That's why I quoted GB Shaw.

Cavalry marching with swords towards gun shots. Lampoon of world war 1.

All gallant acts are marked by stupidity, sense of idealism, and stroke of luck.
Divided between those who live to see victory and those who die on battlefield.

When in action, you can never back-out from what you started. So I forgave Madhu for her entire bravery feat in the jungle. If you read my page 1 take, I started questioning her acts once she wakes from the bed...as in now she is a captive.

From this point she is not gallant, she is just plain stupid. Any intelligent person cannot ignore that.

In Madhu's defence, I have upholded her bravery act until the point of her being in the jungle.

And as per Madhu's state of mind...its just too much to imagine that she replayed same dialogue of Dipali's comments of day time for infinity times in her mind (mind travels faster than light) until she hit the boulder to come out of her reveries in the night. How much clunk is that ? And why as a viewer cannot observe and hold on to it ?

I guess post the jungle drama, her actions were indeed questionable.

I thought of it as a state of panic. You directly stated it as being stupid, which I can accept for now.

As for Dipali's comments during the day and Madhu still thinking about it at night, that's where CVs missed that continuity between yesterday's and today's episode. As a viewer, I'm left with no choice but to accept it without the missing bridge.

I guess calling the police would indicate that all other means have failed and Madhu is already in harm's way. Or maybe RK is aware of Sultan's presence in the jungle and doesnt want to alert him of Madhu's connection with RK.

Never thought I say this but Sultan reminds me of Maan in the first few episode of Geet. If were to watch you would realize that Maan also use to roam around in the jungle as the sadu angry young man. Interestingly enough he doesnt remind me of RK since RK has this charm and sarcasm as a central part of the character and Sultan seems more serious and upfront about how he is inside. RK was pained from within put he hid it through shades of RK that use to laugh life off. Sultan seems more upfront and connected with his emotions.

P.S. Another thing I didnt like about today's epi was Radhaji announcing that now that RK has started to realize his feelings nothing can separate RK and Madhu? Right so Madhu was going to automatically forgive him?
