Episode 212 Discussion: 6th March 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.
Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.

Episode 212 Discussion - EOD Summary

Bemisaal Budhwaar - Avinesh Rekhi's grand entry-Dolphin style and Madhu's Gallantry-rescuing a handicapped boy from goons-CVs-Clunk exceeds tolerance-Is it a Stupidity or a Strategy?

Events of the Episode

Madhu wanders away to forest all alone lost in thought. Sees a child whose hands and legs are tied and left to sprawl on jungle floor. Notices he is handicapped, cannot walk properly, lifts him.
M rescuing the boy runs, while the boy's captivators siren themselves off her as she now has the boy.
Cat and mouse game continues between M and those captivators. Meanwhile a man (Avinesh Rekhi), I shall call him New Entry (NE) for ease of narration, catapults out of the lake like a flying fish. His body, chiselled, tattoo on his back is shown. He is a Hunk. He magically gets a shirt from the wind, yes in literal sense, dons it.
M is almost ambushed by men, but NE comes and asks M to give away the boy. M refuses. And meanwhile the men start firing. M runs away with the boy, NE takes care of the men; as in we are shown that he shot them.
NE finds M, asks for the boy, M refuses, NE holds her my her neck, M bites his hand and runs again, but unfortunately hits a tree and faints.
In parallel people at the shooting location are searching for M. RK and Bittuji roaming around in jungle, Padmini and Trishna worried, Radhaji reaches chawl and informs that missing Madhu has been reported with local police.
M wakes up in a well made bed in the one of the rooms of a big house. An old man comes with food and offers it to her to eat. M keeps asking him for info, the old man is tight-lipped. He leaves, M tries to leave the room, NE blocks her entrance.
Later further into night, M steals out, tiptoes into the boy's room and drags him out of sleep to run away from there. The boy refuses to go. M insists, picks him up. As she tiptoes into mainhall, NE switches on the lights, knowing that she will do this.
The old man comes forward to take the kid. M does not let it happen, instead pulls the gun from old man's pocket and aims at NE. NE comes forward and dares her to shoot.
The boy makes some movements causing M to pull the trigger. Episode ends.
It was 45 minutes maha episode with 25 minutes content. Its not as linear as I narrated. When u watch it u will see the visual disconnects, bloopers and illogical construction.

1) Why was Madhu roaming around in the jungle?

#1) Dips ke baare mein sochte sochte she went deeep inside n didn't know where she's going

#2) She took a looong looong route back home, walking walking, jungle se hokar

#3) She wanted to commit suicide? 😕

2) Why was that kid tied up at an isolated place?

#1) the goons were stupid enuf to leave him alone

#2) they were so scared of Sultan ke incase he finds out who kidnapped his son, woh saamne hi nahi aayenge n bach jaayenge

#3) so that Madhu comes and save him?

3) What was BHAI doing in water?

#1) naha dhokar, fresh hokar, new new clothes pehenkar goons ki dhulai karni thi

#2) there was some secret way to the jungle through the water

#3) he knew where his son was toh he took the shortest possible way

the answer to this i got in the episode itself..BHAI ka ghar was in jungle only and that pond was his bathroom so..abhi abhi bhai naha dhokar bahar hi aaye the...

4) Why didn't that kid tell Madhu ke this is his baap?

#1) scene ko itna drag karna tha ke audience goes 🥱

#2 show some more action frm Sultan bhai?

#3) copy his father , usne bhi nahi bola ke wohi us bache ka baap hai 🥱

a few more questions..Why did Sultan bhai dropped his gun? only to beat the goons and then cut the slack by shooting them? 🥱 he cud have done that before , toh he wanted to do some warm up exercise ?? Madhu running around with the kid reminded me of Sunny Deol in gadar..🥱 luckily ek bhi goli nahi lagi 🐷

Dips gutter queen didn't tell anything to Bittuji, and Bittuji didn't tell anything to RK...sab pagla gaye hai kya? 🥱 i mean RK ? RK of all people ? roaming around the jungle shouting Madhu Madhu as if Madhu is waiting for him in some corner? jungle mein aag wala dialogue was 😎 the only saving grace..vaise he was looking also yum for those 30 secs 😃

Madhu in some house & again tries to save the child..bhai again stopped her, she again fainted? 😲 phir se wohi cycle , she woke up, wanted to save the child , tried to escape, phir se bhai mil gaye? 🥱 neither the father is speaking up nor his son ! 🥱 Madhu ko chinta hai bhai plzzz open your mouth ! 🤢

Padmini is worried, Trishna thinks Madhu is in trouble bec. of RK 🥱 like seriously, woh ye sab pehle nahi kar sakta tha, he's her ex husband 🤢 pagala gaye hai kya saare? Radha was good...👏 BTW, if she & Bittuji want to unite RK and MAdhu and Bittuji knows that Dips is a hurdle, can't both of them scheme to keep her at home 😡 khulla chod rakha hai bandariya ko, RK-Madhu milenge kaise? 😡

the most intelligent & sane person in today's episode was Sultan bhai's servant.."Chodo ye sab , khana khao.." 🥱 me too, going...🤗

Madhu's walk-a-thon sponsored by Dips turns in to Jungle Marathon. Poor girl always invites trouble. (AA bail mujhe maar). Madhu tries to help the kid in trouble but ends up getting caught by Sultan.Million dollar question : If the kid is Sultan's son why was he running away from his father???.

For me RK will always be the Hero of MB.

Madhu spent the remaining afternoon just walking around in jungle only realizing how late it is and where she is when she hits that wall. And she then hears the kid. Madhu rushes to save him. And a game of Tom and Jerry ensues with men with guns shooting at and chasing after her.

First off, who leaves a kidnapped kid without anyone to guard over him? Those men could have easily have shot the kid when shooting at Madhu. Did they mean to kill him? I think that the plan was to lure Sultan and kill him. If the kid dies, he dies. Collateral damage.

Sultan makes an entry. I'll ignore the OTT and all the bloopers which Charu has mentioned almost all of, to say .. why did they focus so much on his tattoo? Is it supposed to mean something to me? When he was seeing the bite marks Madhu gave him all I could think was, first Madhu gave RK that scar by slapping him and now she gives this scar to Sultan by biting him. What is it with this girl and marking people?

But why didn't that kid speak up? He is Sultan's kid so why didn't he say that this is my dad? Or just a "papa/daddy batchao mujhe"?

Dipali was pushed too far and she refuses to say what happened to Mahdu. Not that she knew. She was just feeling no desire to help. She believes that Madhu deserves it. But I think she really meant what she said about Madhu being able to handling herself.

RK is worried about Madhu. When Bittooji talks about calling the police. He says that should anything happen to her he'll burn down the forest and then throw Bittooji in it to die for his suggestion.

Padminiji, Trishna and Radhaji.. all worried about Madhu. While Padminiji did wonder if RK was to blame, Trisha seems sure of it. Radhaji for the first time threw her weight as a superstar's mother to file a missing person's complaint. For now they are all comforting each other.

Madhu's reaction to waking up in Sultan's home was just 🤢. How can she not feel fear? The way she spoke to Sultan, ... Seriously, I get she is worried about the kid, but telling a potential kidnapper and a murderer that she'll file police complaint against him? 🤔

When she wakes up for a second time she tries to run with the kid. To rescue him. Well, she doesn't know that that place is the kid's home so I'll not tear into her.

And for Sultan as a character ... ruthless, and very much the gangster. He killed without any feeling, just doing what needs to be done. He had such a blank face, no expressions .. I didn't get much about him. Other than the fact that he does not believe in wasting words. He seems more bite and less bark.

So I guess its wait and watch.. Tomorrow Madhu will find out that the kid is Sultan's son. And hopefully, we'll find out his name. That kid's cute.

Never seen Madhu be this dumb before. First of all who walks into the jungle all alone at night without telling anyone besides gutter queen? Atleast phone home Madhu and tell Bittuji. Now coming to the episode someone should really explain to Madhu that the boy is Sultan's son. Madhu is paronoid she just saw gun fires and tied up boys. Prob a first for Madhu in her sheltered smooth world. She cant believe anyone not Sultan when he tells her eat and go to sleep. Not the old man who tells he not to worry. Not even the boy who tells her to leave him alone he is fine? Her trust issues have really goen haywire after RK's betrayal. Well you cant blame it totally on her when no one will speak up. You cant expect person to eat and go to sleep quietly no questions asked??? RK is ready to put the jungle on fire if something happens to Madhu because of the jungle. Funny how this was the same man who never thought once what might happen to her after he publically humilaited her??? Nice chaotic and equally strange episode.

since Avinash Rekhi made a grand entry today, my 2 cents on him...don't mean to offend anyone, it's just my view..he's nowhere close to VD, but MAY BE i can tolerate him, i'm not sure...however, the kid is very very cute...one more meherbaani CV's can do on us, plz don't repeat this shirtless act of his..anything but eye candy 🤔 i can't imagine him as one of the parallel leads...if this is bashing then plz lemme know, i'll delete my msg 😕

So was it an extended episode ? It was 25 minutes drama.

Didn't the scene just randomly start with Madhu walking in the jungle in the night ?!! Wierd beginning...when from last two episodes they repeat 1-2 minute drama of previous episode. But of course there was so much of drama to be shown!!

Madhu rescuing the boy, missing the gunfire. Madhu truly would have been the case for the President's Bravery Medal of honour...the one they present on Republic Day.

Madhu was praying for help from Bappa. And Bappa sent AR. Like the piranha or anaconda splashed out of the water..

How did he get his shirt on ??!!!!

Anyways more action drama.

And today yet again, Madhu seemed such a dumbo. She is really crazy in crazy situations. No one can predict how dumb she can get. As in holding men by their vests, collars...an in what's with Madhu...deciding to collide with men. I am getting sick of this trait in Madhu. And seriously if the showmakers keep higlighting this trait, I may have no other option left than to be degrading the show. Or the CVs should start showing me that Madhu has this consistent crazy trait to go for wrong men.

Sensible girls after a time, when caged, sense something wrong...but yeah this is heroine, bollywood types, so gets to yell and hold men to her rants and yet she gets picked up and be deposited nicely on the bed and not slapped hard for her untimely audacity.

After 16 minutes of drama, another set of shoddily directed scenes. Bittuji's dialogue of "Abhi tak Chief ko nahin bataya" while talking to Trishna was misplaced, because next minute we have RK and Bittuji wandering in the forest searching for Madhu. 🤪 RK doesn't want Police to be involved and here Trishna is talking to Police. Well as a concerned family member, I would have done the same. Sudhakar comes and tells that report can be filed after 24 hours and next minute Radhaji with her super power tells Padmini and Trishna that compaint has been made. Where ?😲🤔😳

And rest of the drama...whatever !!! I just disliked Madhu's character today. Very repugnant. I mean bravery with sense - FINE. Without SENSE - Indigestible. The boy was sleeping in peace. Can't she think for 2 minutes about where she is...Why act in such a haste ? What power or skill she has to tackle a man who is stronger than her, has held her captive and seems to be playing with Guns. Won't you think for 2 minutes ?❓ Why couldn't Madhu have been like Marilyn Monroe instead. Would have made so much more sense with all those men flocking around her.

Very repugnant episode. I just don't know if it was really needed for the plotline. Even here, the man seems right and Madhu seems wrong. How come this woman keeps giving me all wrong vibes. And those defending her today against my comments, pls tell me if you were in the situation, how far would you act like that ? What's with CVs to play with Madhu's character as they like it...Gosh!!! Give a break !!!

By the end of the episode, Madhu sure looked to be posthumous candidate for Bravery award.

On the other hand I liked all Avinash Rekhi scenes. He seemed in control and was poised. And yes, obviously for the gangster, his biggest dilemma at this moment is whether to let go Madhu scot free for saving the boy's life or kill her for getting to know him, his son and his location. Ofcouse this is my audience knowledge.

Finally the sun has set in this part of the outdoor and just in time Madhu gets lost and lo n behold finds Sultan's lost son! Was it only me, or others too who were laughing at the whole meddled situation! Even before Madhu started running after freeing the kid, (who was just lying around in the jungle, while his father is taking a beauty bath) the goons said that she is running away with the child and started shooting! In answer to Madhu's prayers, shirtless bathing beauty Sultan himself comes flying out of the water! Then he dresses himself and targets Madhu, only to be bitten by her! The only moment worth anything was when he looked taken aback by Madhu's sheer stupidity in the face of his gun welding threat to leave the boy alone! I dont even want to think why the boy did not point out that it was his father, assuming he knows that himself! Or was the boy just enjoying the ride with Madhu? Madhu then barges into a tree, again WTH was that? She wakes up, threatens the wall of a man and faints again! Sorry Avishti fans in the making, the man looks too huge for her, I think Rishbala would do just fine! Coming back to the topic, she wakes, tries to run away with a now protesting, earlier peacefully sleeping kid! Again to be stopped by Sultan and his gun welding help! Madhu is really too much, she grabs the gun now? Seriously, Sultan must be of the opinion that whts wrong with this girl? He really does not seem the kind to entertain such kind of silly bravado ! This kind of craziness can be only handled by RK in his I care a damn attitude! Coming to RK, only 30 seconds of screen time😭! He looked appropriately upset n worried, but why these empty threats to Bittuji who sensibly wanted to inform the police! He's going to set fire to the forest indeed, as if though he has not done enough to his life n happiness already!

Precap: I wouldn't be surprised if the bullet does not bounce off something n hit Madhu or Sultan in the process! The way things are going, anything is possible!

PS: If this is they intend to keep up this nonsense as an additional plot, its a sincere request to CVs I prefer to see RK and his empty threats much more! No shirtless hunks with apparent dashing entries(cough cough) can make up for such silliness!

Even with full sleeved boring shirts and not so toned body, VD ranks much higher on the hotness quotient! Just my opinion on the matter!

Madhu Express chal padi...🤣. i find it very cute...that she's like this...mad hatter of a woman.

Dipali had famously said...kuch to baat hai. Haan, baat hai na😆.

Whenever madhu sees a good looking guy, there has to be a lost cause around the guy for her to take up. So what does she do? Instead of wasting time on phangurl moments, she sends them bangles, slaps them, sends them to jail, latest is ...bites them, attempts to shoot them🤣. The poor guys get so confused they end up falling in love with her...or fake love and then really fall in love...you know the rest😆. We don't know what madhu will do to this poor Sultan guy, as yet.

Summary:

Madhu is wandering by herself in the jungle, depressed with the way things are going in life
As she turns to head back she sees a little boy tied up, the boy has a polio handicap
She unties the boy, and finds herself surrounded by gun toting men. She runs with the boy, deeper into the jungle
She prays for strength, as she prays, lo and behold, a stunning almost celestial being rises out of a pond,😆
He asks Madhu to hand over the boy, she refuses. He catches her by the neck and tries to force her to leave the boy, she bites him on his hands and runs🤣
The mysterious hunk defeats all the gunmen and looks for Madhu. Madhu in her hurry to run, hits her forehead on a tree and falls unconscious at the man's feet...hello, this is Madhubala Shamsher Malik for you😆
Meanwhile, panic at the film sets. Everyone's looking for Madhu. Bittuji's asking DIpali who is very happy with the attention but does not know about Madhu.
Now stand in line, all those who treated RK'S ex wife badly, stand in line to face RK's wrath. When push comes to shove, and when it is not RK who is pushing, we know RK's junoon for Madhu rises exponentially. he is wandering in the jungles yelling out her name😆.
Meanwhile Paddy/Trishna get to know Madhu's missing, they are panic stricken. Radhaji also lands up at the chawl to give them support. 😕
Madhu wakes up in a strange house. Hunk refuses to let her out nor explains anything to her, she keeps asking abt the little boy. An old man comes in, refuses to answer pointed questions, asks her to eat and sleep...😕. I mean how is it possible for her to do that..I mean realistically speaking. 😆
She wakes in the middle of the might, grabs the boy and tries to escape. Again, lost cause, the boy keeps protesting mujhe chod do, she refuses to leave the poor thing. Again runs into the hunk, who warns her that she will pay for this with her life. Finally she grabs a gun and aims it at the hunk😊

Today's whole episode was shoddy and poorly planned, seems to have been shot in a tearing hurry. To me, it ended up being comical. However, if all this is required for RK to hurry his love realisation, then maybe it's fine. Hope the CVs don't play around with this track though. I understand they need a back up for honeymoon plans & all😆...For me, as of now...that's about it with this track...a back up plan. Nothing less expected, definitely nothing more.
