i was not talking about love in literal sense , everybody's definition of love is different ...what is applicable on one may not apply to other...n i agree with his definition..his view is more practical than filmi..i was not trying to justify his actions but try to understand his state of mind for the sake of my peace of mind bec. i want to continue enjoying this story without getting into too much nitty gritties...none of us are sure of what we're saying, we're only speculating...bec. that point has not come where he justifies / gives any explanation for his misdoings or he realizes his mistake...what CV's r trying to show , his problem, comes across easily through that poster of his which has "ahankar" written on it...when that time will come, of realization & redemption, partly he will try to justify , partly they will pass it on as blooper (whatever happened in these 5 months b/w RK and Madhu) and in the end, leave an option for us "take him or leave him" ..

we compare his actions to that of an ideal noble man, in real life, how many people r fit to be ideal? infact how do we define an ideal person?..it's relative..compared to MAdhu, he will be pictured evil..how good was that guy Mukund?? RK has inherent character flaws...even goodness & selfnessless is a character flaw isn't it? in some way or the other? his disgruntled state of mind can be imagined from his past behavior..he took 14 YEARS to forgive his mother & understand her situation..is that normal?? how many times does this happen that we reject something that our subconscious mind tells us is very good for us? or we accept something that our heart is saying may not be good for us?? and most of the time, we don't realize the value of that "something good" till the time we lose it ...sometimes we fail to predict the consequences of our actions and how often does that happen ?? frequently isn't it? it sounds filmi but pyar ka ehsaas pyar ke dard n judai mein zyada hota hai..

sometime back, RK was telling Madhu that his life is like those broken glass pieces, she cannot rejoin it...but it happened...he re-conciled with his mother..today Madhu was telling Trishna that he broke her heart into thousand pieces and tooti hui cheez phir se nahi judti...tomorrow her view might change

i was asking the same questions as to how can he be blind towards the care & affection, her love?? the answer was no ! he was not blind..he did feel something for her but his ego didn't let him accept that he loves Madhu...now that he lost Madhu , he's in deep denial that he loved her...it's only ego vs love..
