Then the minute she slaps him, his face changes, and anger comes back.
Does he realize how much he cares? Or does his anger/ego wipe it all out? It was a little worrying how much strength he was exerting over her. Say what you will, in the before hate track, he never held her tightly enough that the fabric would rip. She was struggling against him and he was basically pinning her in place. Not done. And shows the level of his focus when it comes to her.
Does he want her out of his life? Who knows? But the way she feels towards him now, if he came with DIpali, she would probably feed them both sweets as celebration.
Which would anger him even more.

She promised to herself that she cannot be affected of him and that was wearing off with him being able to sense what her body feels. Basically her secret was being out. That made her angry today. That called out for her sobbing and that "nafrat"

She is stil in retaliatory mode and her crying was all about her opponent sensing what she wants to hide...because initially it is all about her cover up which will slowly wane away as she gets time to stand on her feet, have a bit of confidence and then time to take stock of what she actually lost and what she is left with. Its pure survival now and hence her reaction at his touch. She just cannot let him know what she thinks of the entire thing...her true sensibilities. Her argument...you want me to look hurt. No I will not. And if you ask me...what's wrong in that reaction ? See I am not being selfish for seeing Rishbala all the time. For me, if Madhu doesn't behave this way, it means she never loved him that much...it would look too frivolous to me if she was not holding it precious for her and hence safegaurding it from his eyes.

I'm way behind on my reading and I'm planning to go back and read through yesterday and today's threads still but I have been thinking about something for a while now that I may have mentioned casually in a post or two (usually I just call him Gollum) but I thought I'd make a proper post about it.

At first I was contemplating the notion that perhaps RK suffers from DID, and that mostly stemmed from remembering and recalling Shri's posts about the difference between RK and Rishabh. I thought perhaps they were going with DID as a possible storyline for RK. I don't know how much mental disorders are dealt with on Indian television seriously. I've watched the American soap General Hospital on and off since I was a little kid and for the past year there's been a similar storyline on that show where a character named Kate Howard started having blackouts and then we saw her doing weird/out of character things. Basically we found out that she had DID and increasingly Connie Falconarie was taking over (Connie is Kate's real name. She changed her name and background after a traumatic incident in her teens - the Rishabh if you will so RK = Kate). Kate loves Sonny but Connie hates Sonny and has done so many things to try and break Sonny and Kate up because she believes it's the best thing for Kate (she made it look like she was having an affair with Sonny's enemy for one thing).

Now to make this even more interesting, pulling from the same show again I then wondered after seeing the last few episods if RK is actually bipolar. Actor Maurice Bernard who plays Sonny on General Hospital sufferes from Bipolar Disorder in real life and perhaps because of this the writers were able to incorporate this illness into the show as something Sonny suffers from as well. For years people were able to write off Sonny's symptoms and reactions (that would be consistent with bipolar) as a result of Sonny's painful childhood (much like we were able to write off such behavior from RK) but it was eventually revealed after many years (and a particularly severe outburst) that Sonny actually was bipolar.

Basically where I'm going with this perhaps ST is seriously going towards tackling the issues of mental disorders. He said he likes to make noise and tackle topics that people don't talk about, forcing the conversation so to speak. I know that here where I live there's still a stigma attached to such disorders within the Indian community (it's even there within the larger population if I'm honest). People are often still ignorant to what exactly these conditions are, I mean I know several people that suffer from depression and my mom's aunt has been often known to make fun of them writing it off as a ridiculous condition. But this is common I think, because these are conditions that cannot be seen visibly on the surface they are often written off but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

RK's father's death is still a large mystery, perhaps it was depression or a moment of weakness or maybe it was something even more serious. Perhaps RK suffers from something of the same? Might he have a fear that he too might meet a similar fate?

I'm sorry if this is really off topic from what everyone is talking about. It was just a thought.

Todays epi was bang on very high on emotion i bet u this kind of epi we can only see in MB. Applause for CV's for their hardwork and for giving us visually delight epi.

Madhu was looking gorgeous in that gown very upto dialogue that she looks more beautiful than original heroine but fact is that she was way too embarass, uncomfortable and feeling horrible. The way RK held her waist it was like he is determine this time to hurt her but again miserably failed at last moment. U know i just hate CV's they always bring RK's actions to the point where we neither can hate him nor love him we became numb more i try to make sense to his act more i became confuse abt his whole character. Madhu is so much affected by his each act i think its way too difficult for her to move on but again what she is trying to prove is still a mystery for me.

Most heart wrenching scene for me was her crying in dressing room she was so much in pain her sobs, her chanting, her trembling everythimg remind me the immense pain which she burried in her heart oh god i cried a lot watching this particular scene on other hand helpless RK who so much in trauma after hearing her soabs but still coudn't fathom himself to comfort her that was really touching but again he is the sole reason of her tears thats makes me just hate him beyond anything.

Again RK the confuse soul who always ready to hurt her is in panic just with lights off as his Madhu has a fear of darkness and god knows why he want to take care of her. And then best part of epi the final blow from Madhu the great 5th slap. Madhu was on boarder line of her bottled emotion so when RK comes for her rescue what an irony person who hurt u who hates u as he always pretend has come for ur rescue she just blastead on him her anger, her pain, her broken heart her every damn feeling just came out like lava when she shouted him, ask him that what revenge plan he hat for this 5th slap it was freaking awesome scene i just loved it.

As much as viewers are confuse with RK's character i hope CV's are not having any confusion abt his character because it will get difficult for them to portray him in future course of time.

Don't know what to say of the episode today..

Did not want to analyse today...

The first half was agonizingly slow ...nothing to say...will be

more of a rant..

Bittuji and Radha...what they said seemed to be more

of what the VIEWER's thoughts/questions/concerns are...

Their first attempt failed... what makes them think that their

second attempt will be successful??

Anyway, they want to make another attempt..

The crying scene of Madhu in the dressing room was a good

scene...

BUT why cry?? what is the point??

You know the man -- He plays these games, continues them

and backs off from them whenever he decides to do so..

And what happened to my tears are -- out of stock and out

of production???

What happened to what you told your mom --

will go to the set, head held high before him, will not break

and will win...

Then do that..No point in crying.. I would rather she take out the frustration and anger out in some other way.

Him feeling her through the walls, running out as soon as

the lights were out ... are all expected.

The CV"S are playing this HOT AND COLD GAME with the

viewers ... it is not enough they were doing this with RK and

now with MADHU also...

If their intention of playiing this HOT AND COLD GAME is to

show their INNER TURMOIL it is not coming across as such..

The saving grace of the episode today was the last scene

Him going behind her in the dark, trying to relax her, her

trying to get away from his grip, the sleeve ripping and

then comes the THAPPAD...

He so deserved it NOT for ripping up the sleeve... he did not

intend that to happen.. it showed in his face...

But for HIM blatantly ignoring what she said.. not to come

near her and not to touch her...

which he repeatedly did today under the pretext of shooting

and then now by being concerned for her...

Him IGNORING that ALONG with the fact of all the pent up

anger of him manipulating her into a situation where she

was not comfortable...

That came in the form of a THAPPAD...

And then came the question of how he will revenge her from

the 5th slap? What more can he do?? He already cheated

her by pretending to be in a love relationship??

And so she was ready for whatever else he has to do...

which anyway he never does meaning take advantage of

her physically...

Ok am back with a lil more bakwaas...
Why not name the show madhubala- ek slap ek badla?
In the last phase of their love story , the slap was the game changer... Will this slap be the game changer in this phase?
Don't you all think that this supposedly dark love story( whatever that means) is turning into a slap love err hate story?

Ok... I promise no more bakwaas from my side to torture you guys after this..I shall remain tightlipped... I think mujhe yeh slap ka Nasha Chad raha hai... Lol..

Despite liking the episode, I truly don't know what to make out of it. I was hoping that today being the last day of the 2 week time that ST had requested, all this chaos and confusion as to why RK did what he did will all be out in the open instead it left me even more puzzled.

First of all, who is RK trying to fool? If it is Madhu, hasn't he already accomplished that mission?? If he is trying to hide his true feelings for her from the rest of his family members who actually care for him (Radha and Bittuji) then he already knows that whatever he is doing does not seem to have any effect on them as they seem to have noticed that deep down he cares for her and cannot bear to see her in pain. So, in a nutshell no one is getting fooled except himself.

He is hell bent on humiliating her and gets a rush out of making her do things that she says that she despises. However, when he crosses his limits and hurts her to a point where she breaks down and cries it hurts him more than her. He cannot see her in pain and her tears seem to twist his heart and more than anything he wants to reach out to her and wipe her tears, comfort and console her. There is no denying that he loves so very deeply and his ego is what is coming in his way and is keeping him from being his true self. At some point, this is going to drive him insane if he doesn't admit to atleast himself that he is in love with her, so what, she is his arch nemesis, who cares?? The only thing that is coming between him and her is his ego. It is clearly evident that neither one of them has moved on. He constantly kept looking at her while he was dancing with the movie's heroine wanting to see some reaction from her, more on the lines of jealousy from Madhu. But why? if what she thinks or feels doesn't matter to him then why expecting something from her when he doesn't love her or doesn't want her to love him? The same question goes for her. If his presence/existence does not bother her then why his mere touch sends chills up her spine and triggers those underlying emotions that she is trying so very hard to bury deep within herself. She could have taken her mother's advise and pledged never to see him again or cross paths ever. It is not that RK's movie set is the only place she could find work. She could find work as a hair dresser someplace else, another parlour or another movie set. What was the need for her to prove to HIM that she has moved on? How does it matter what he thinks of her when she says that she wants to move on with her future where not even his memories exist. Who are they both trying to fool? They are clearly trying to fool each other and that doesn't seem to work. So, what gives?? I know that acceptance is part of growing up but apparently RK doesn't want to grow up because of his king-sized ego and wants to be a brat who gets his way by throwing tantrums.

I am against physical violence regardless of who is at the receiving end, a man or a woman? He pushed her over the edge earlier where she had to slap him and he did the same today to get slapped again. I did not like her slapping then and did not like it today. Words spoken can have more impact and can deliver unhealable wounds as opposed to physical violence. She drove home the point precisely when she said that she is no longer scared of the dark instead is more scared of him who she has seen in bright light only to be betrayed and humiliated in the name of love. It was an accident and not a pre-planned act from his end to rip her outfit. So, I personally did not feel the need for her to slap him today. I guess she had to let it out considering he is giving out mixed signals where one moment he wants to hurt/humiliate her and the right next moment he wants to be her hero, her knight in shining armor. The poor girl is as confused as us viewers. I am hoping RK will say something Monday more on the lines of "Yes, I took revenge but somewhere down the road I seem to have fallen for you even without my knowledge". His ego may not let him admit the part about love but he should atleast give an explanation as to what is happening to him when she is around him and is in some kind of trouble. If he admits his love then it would be too good to be true and Madhu may not believe him after what he had done to her in the name of love. Either way, they are not going to patch up as quickly as Radha wants/expects them to.

It seems that he is always on some type of quest to belittle her if you will. He clearly is experiencing mixed emotions and does not know what he wants and after what happened today it seemed as though he had descended into a kind of "hell". If he doesn't come clean of his intentions then this hell is going to take an emotional toll on him and leave him scarred forever with a psychological wound that will not heal. I am assuming that the CVs will take the route that RK still being the hero will learn from this descent into "hell" much about himself and finally mature greatly from the experience.

How long will RK be able to leave Madhu in that dark room before his heart melts? I noticed the dupatta that was on the floor is now safely around Madhu? Who put it there? Is punishing her for the 5th slap? It was a well deserved one she should have gave it right in the Mandap if u ask me.
