wonderful analysis of RK!!!! i do believe you got it right!!! see he might have manipulated n played d revenge drama, but everything was not fake. his belief in god, and his relationship with mom changed due to madhu. and he did develop feelings for madhu. the very feelings make him vulnerable. that is why he's hell bent on throwing her out of his life. with god like attitude, he can't be dependent on another person. he can't give that much power to another person. in love u need to surrender urself, he is unable to do that. and he tries to get out of this relationship, but he cant' let go!!!!

And, my patience is wearing pretty quickly. B/c the way RK is being shown, I doubt Madhu would ever take him back, especially after today. B/c personally as a young woman, I wouldn't wanna stay with a guy whose ego and arrogance is larger than life to the point where he destroys everything in life that he is not comfortable with in this case Madhu, since she is everything he didn't think anyone would ever be compassionate, selfless, nurturing and at the same time is not affected by his fame, money or power. Madhu doesn't bend towards him, she keeps her held high. I think that is what affects RK the most. RK thinks now he has broken her, but no alas she comes back again with confidence and grace. He expects Madhu to pine for him, as that what in his "superstar world" all the females do, in this case as Dipali does.

He thinks that Madhu is his commodity, with which he can do as he pleases and throws away. Yes there is a subtle change in RK's character, but his ego makes up for that part. So, it is all back to square one. I really need this track to move further. We have seen this battle of wills in the start, the only difference is before Madhu hated him, but during the marriage she started loving him due to his "changing" personality towards his mother and her family. Now, Madhu is a like a tortured and beyond hurt cinderella, who has been woken up from her fairytale dream, by her own beast who plans to make her life hell.

I've been confused with the show, especially RK's intention, and your line of thinking clears up most of the doubts. This is the best explanation I've come across so far which is kind of acceptable.

I've always believed RK to be narcissistic but the God complex sums up his personality better. He wants control over everything around him and Madhu, the newcomer, is shattering this control so he decides to kick her out of his life as if it's a game of chess.

Was it to break her? I don't think so. His earlier humiliation was to break her spirit but not this time around. He wanted her to quit her job because she is in front of his eyes, reminding him of what he had done to the one woman who loved him so uncontionally and whom he loves passionately but in his own selfish way.

If he really wanted to break her he wouldn't be turning a blind eye and ear to Bittuji's obvious helping her. He could have openly humiliated her by telling that new actress that she was no longer his wife but his ex-wife whom he couldn't care less. He could have arm twisted the PH to get her thrown out. The first time when he was taking pure revenge he had broken her support system, her family. This time around he made sure she has her support system around her to pick her up after he banished her from his life. So I feel it is more about his own inability to cope with the growing control she was having on his life and hence he is pushing her out of his life rather than taking pleasure in her pain. As I said, his god complex where he feels he is infallible is threatened by his increasing vulnerability because of his love.
