Hi Opti,
Thanks for the insightful post, love that analysis.
When you think you've everything figured out RK's character, he does something totally unexpected, that's what makes this show interesting.
i can't believe he made peace with his Mom after so many years and goes to the woman who made it possible and stages a drama? Strange!
When he can easily suffer Dipalii inspite of her betrayal and continuous harassment why is he so unforgiving toward Madhu? And what does he want to avenge? Those slaps seem so insignificant compared to what Madhu has done for him after that. I'm totally confused with the current track.
The only way that makes sense to me in the current track is viewing it form the pov of RK's inner struggle, as you've mentioned in your post, the control freak with a god complex. I try to see it in terms of the play of Madhu & RK's shadow selves.
Madhu & RK are the other side of same coin, remeber, Bituji saying during the Karva chauth that she is RK's female version? IMO, Madhu brings out the good side in RK, that's his shadow, where as the evil-Kameena self is what he is projecting to the world and he is comfortable.Similarly, he brings out the fighter in Madhu, a name nick named"Glycerine" comes up and says she is 'out of stock", that's some change.
Guess, Madhu, happily embraced her shadow self, while living with RK and imbibed lot of his qualities, whereas RK is still struggling, that's why he wants to push her away, so that he can be his old- evil- comfortable self.
Would love to add some more to this, later, sleep is gaining control over the soap addict.
