This episode started with Madhu entering RK's vanity .. It seemed to me as if she was walking towards her worst nightmare. The background music did not help change my mind. When the word "dushman" was sung, the camera focused on RK's poster in the background. Well, so far so good. She enters after some RK taunts and he tells her to give her a champi. She agrees. She gets the oil, spills it on the first step and then she tries to do her job.

The CVs chose to use Bin Tere Reprise verson instead of the normal Bin Tere.. I have no clue why this struck me, other than the fact that this version has a preppy background score as opposed to the original one which is more sad which I felt would have been more suitable.

RK caused as much pain to Madhu as he did to himself. It could be seen in the way he couldn't maintain his smirk, in the way his hands gripped the armrest. Madhu's eyes shined with tears just waiting to be released. Finally, RK broke first. But then to recover and show he was unaffected, he asked Madhu to give him a back massage.

Why would he remind her of that memory? They were not in love then. On the contrary, that was a period when Madhu was rebelling against him in every way she could. Did he want to tell her to remember him as the monster he was and not of the human he had pretended to be? Madhu just walked away. I know many called this harassment yesterday, but I don't see it as such.. He was not serious about it. It was all just to taunt her. Even if Madhu had not walked away, he would not have gone ahead with it. He would have told her to go. I believe he was bluffing to cover his own pain caused by the memories.

An then came the fall. RK reacted instinctively to Madhu's yell. He didn't pause, just went to her and tried to help her. Madhu pushed him away after the female version on Bin Tere Reprise was done playing. And RK made it known why he helped her. Only he has a right to hurt her, cause her pain. But in this dialogue, he also said that he fights only with those who are his equal, in other words, Madhu falls in this category. High praise from a man who considers himself to be God.

Bittooji's words as RK drove off sums it up. He should not go so far that there is no return. But maybe he already has or wants to.

I didn't understand why Madhu spoke as she did to Padmini, her mother. Maybe it is because I could never speak in this way with mine. I didn't like it. Padmini after all was not telling her not to fight, just to pick her fights better.

'Aahankaar' -- it's what is driving both the protagonists at this point. RK's won't let him accept his love and Madhu's won't let her backdown even if not doing so will cause her pain. And I think Padmini sees this problem and is trying to make Madhu see it.

The precap reminds me of Madhu saying the exact same thing to RK during the Test of Love track. And I am super excited.. What is RK planning? The way he focused on Dipali's marriage.. Is he going to show her up in front of everyone as Shri said in her post earlier? No one would be happier than me.

Me loved today's episode! I say keep more of these coming! With each confrontation planned by RK, I think Madhu emerges stronger and RK gets weaker by the day! Today even I couldn't bear to see him give in so easily, when Madhu was in pain! He looks hounded and possessed when he grabs her by the hand again and again and finally picks her up! His comeback dialogues fool no one any more! Something about Madhu's expression after his self defense tells me she is also beginning to see through his facade! Wished she had spared a glance at him during the massage, instead of being immersed in pain herself! Loved the way he closed his eyes, savoring her touch and holding tight onto the armrest! But then for the track to be dragged, I guess Madhu should not find out RK's true feelings too early! The back massage reminded her to fight him n hate him! Odd that RK keeps encouraging her to stay strong and not fall weak even in a twisted manner!

All I can conclude is a third person or in this case viewers should never come in between two lovers! Bcoz even after everything, they seem to be crazily in love with each other, where we viewers take sides and critiicize or support one or the other! The only fools and outsiders are us when they get down to their business!

Bittuj's dialogues were apt for both RK and the CVs as someone mentioned earlier! Lets not take RK's actions too far! I was dangling between the idea of him going to check on Madhu at the chawl, or insult her further there for his moment of weakness! Perhaps he just went to his lakeside, where he will be further tortured by Madhu's memories! He really is trapped in his own game! Cant stand to watch him torture himself and insult n hurt Madhu further!

Precap: Most people seem to think something good is coming out of it! Me on the other hand is filled with dread that he is going to use Dipali in some way to drive Madhu further away from him! Makes me want to throw up at the thought of it too! If that ever comes to pass, atleast it will be proved that he wouldn't resort to that step for revenge! So the only hope then would be that he has some other reason for keeping Madhu away from him!Another random thought that came about is how can RK be so visibly affected by Madhu's physical pain, and so completely blind to the emotional pain he himself is causing her! Has to be a reason for the pain he himself is inflicting on both of them!

You and me both ...though honestly that should give Madhu a pause...RK does hate Dips immensely and for him to use her to inflict pain should tell Madhu how desperate RK is. It is a different story that Madhu is so deep in her pain and her desire to prove herself that she might oversee the obvious.
