@ red - In continuation to this statement, he also said - "Ki Madhu iss kamre se aur meri Zindagi se jaa chuki hai, to isska matlab ye nahin ki kissi ke aane ki jagah hai". In a way that implies that Madhu held special place in RK's life, which Deepali coveted but with Madhu gone, RK is not willing to make space for anyone else... He did consider her as a part of his life and no one can take her place...

I know today's scenes were necessary, but I was actually a little bored today. Nothing new except Dipali's putdown. I'm also tired of this mega-rona dhona, badduas galore and the stillness of Madhu. 3 episodes of the same stuff being screamed out by one person or the other is enough!

Come on Madhu, wake up! Bittuji, where are you?!

I was listening to Alice Cooper's "Poison" (I know I'm dating myself with this one!) earlier today and thought the lyrics were apt for the Rishbala relationship of these days. If their story were an opera, I'd have Madhu sing this to RK ---

Curiosity is the friend to Misery as we try to find answers for the misery caused. Your Curiosity is being driven by the misery/disgust that was caused senselessly.

It afflicts RK, who further inflicted it on Viewers and Madhu. While viewers, have been angry, brave and analyzing source and reasons for his affliction, Madhu has gone into a state of shock. This is a bad(tamsic) emotion and one should control it.

Just saw the episode again.. Some more things caught my eye.

First off, RK didn't celebrate, he came in looking disgruntled. As though things are not working out correctly. He gets happy only when Padmini calls out to him. Even later, no drinks. Considering how he had celebrated after Madhu-Mukund's engagement, this is unusual.

Padmini talks about what RK did with Madhu at the mandap. How did she find out?

Radhaji -- just tears? That's all you have for Madhu? Is it just me, or did someone else feel like she wasn't as surprised as Padmini? Like she just knew her son had not changed, ever. She instantly started crying, no questions asked at all. Even Padmini, took her time realizing that RK had never changed. But Radhaji, she accepted it automatically.

Bittuji is at the shoot wrap-up party. So the shoot really did get over? I thought it was just a lie.

@bold: Honestly I think this is where we are headed. We have been cribbing about the fact that there seems to be no reason for Madhu to love RK unless you count gratitude and stockholm syndrome. Rk explained his reasons in the farmhouse episode...she is his equal and almost as crazy as he is. He is awed by her persistance, her passion and how far she is willing to go. She is capable of standing up to him. Her passion calls out to him.

But Madhu never explains what attracts her to RK or maybe she did in her letter but viewers are not privy to it yet. She felt first stirrings after the Malik episode but it felt more like a combination of gratitude and sympathy then anything else.

I was always thought it was odd that RK who understands Madhu like the back of his hand never boasts of his love while Madhu who boasts that she understands him the best...really does not.

I wrote this on Monday too...Different situation but RK managed to stand the onslaught of familial opinion and still believe that Madhu was not involved in shooting...Can Madhu stand the same onslaught and yet believe in RK? I am curious to see if she bought his theory...so far it looks that she did. If she did then what would clue her in to RK's deception and when?

I have no doubt in my mind that once she figures out RK lied, she will move heaven and earth to investigate and get back to him though it might mean more pain, humiliation or even putting herself in harm's way.

I am more and more convinced that he is faking it with every passing episode His actions though is making it more and more difficult to justify it. The last time he humiliated her so badly at his party they couldn't stand each other. Yet Madhu was so affected that she blindly walked into a desserted studio and nearly got killed.It was RK who rushed to save her when he realised the magnitude of his action. That was the turning point in their relationship. So he knows how Madhu would react to this blow which is far harder than the earlier one. Hence, he made sure she wasn't left alone and he himself escorted her to the chawl and openly admitted he was the heel (with pride). Today he again emphasied the point by telling his mom-in-law to make sure Madhu does not kill herself. I feel that he is doing all this because his life and by extension her life is in danger if she stays with him. Maybe the blackmailer they showed early in the show has issued some serious threat. That is why he is in a hurry to get her out of his sight, his house and his life.
