@leelaa: Very well written.

Honestly I stand corrected...Yesterday I was wondering how the PH were going to sell me the revenge theory...today I am wondering how they are going to sell me his redemption and the reason behind his jerk act. It is a testament to extremely well written episode and execution. Kudos to the entire team.
I think, I have mentioned a couple of times that there are instances that do not factor in on his revenge act- him seeing Madhu in Deepali in seduction act, Him getting drunk and venting out when Madhu hesitates to elope with him, his missing her and going to see the moon exclaiming she is driving him crazy, why he took so much pain to get Shamini together or get Trishna a movie, why he was so frustated on KC night when he thought Madhu was waiting for him. He claims to abhor touching her but there were moments when he was completely into her. I too noticed that RK does not mock thier private moments in public but sticks to what chawlwala would have known. In fact most of his mockery casts him in bad light. There are flashes of concern in between once in a while. I guess CVs are undecided where to take the story as of yet.
On a different note I am sold on revenge theme...but I am not sold on the flimsy excuse for revenge. I have an odd feeling that soon I will be sold on redemption but will not be sold on excuse for this entire drama.
As for Shamini marraige...If we really need to make him despicable then he could always say that the lawyer was fake so they are not married truly...another blow to the family.
I am sitting on two characters sketches for RK almost the same in every aspect but one... where one is selfless to a crazy limit with no regards to self preservation and another where one is selfish to a crazy limit and is twisted beyond imagination. I keep wondering which one CV's will pick.

This is the fastest growing thread.

I watched the episode now. And here's my take. I was expecting the public drama, dreading it and now watched it.

From a realistic point of view, Madhu standing there and not throwing Varmaala away the moment it started dawning to her this man indeed was speaking the truth that he lied throughout to her...was too much for me to absorb.

It is simply not possible. A girl violently reacts when she gets to know that something is really wrong and first she sets aside the immediate things that were added on to her misery. Why was she keeping the varmaala on ?

You might think me strange, why I am talking like this...that don't I see that Madhu has gone into a shock ? Thing is human brain still is reactive in the presence of the object that is giving you stress. The body reacts...that's why Police, doctors ask us...what was your reaction, what did you say ?

Remember the Delhi Rape case...the girl bit into the men's hands, scratched them even as she was made powerless.

Same way as it dawns to us ...we are alone and something is not right around us...self-defence kicks in and that when you are alone somewhere in the night against a man who suddenly has become a person that you are not aware of. Ash must have gotten slapped by Salman in public or wherever, but definitely, she must have reacted even after taking that abuse...

Why was Madhu's self-defence not kicking in...She was not a retard not to be able to think.

Okay...I really need a psychologist's opinion to tell me if Madhu's reaction to that man was realistic.

Other than the above...the drama just went on on and on as if Rishabh Kundra was drunk in his victory, as if he was gloating to show how he planned everything. This was realistic to a bit...but at normal, it soon becomes a brawl with parties talking or arguing and the fight becoming physical because the gloating person wants to enjoy the drama at maximum...typically they become violent in expressing their win or their frustration with the other party for making them work so many extra hours. Yes, in the end, inspite of the victory, they become physically violent to let out their frustration as well for having to play good person so long against their natural inclination. So Rishabh Kundra was getting physical with her...

This type of drama has to be ugly but it was dramatic...so for me...I will just take it as drama, with a little bit of expectation of realism that Madhu should have reacted in self-defence instead of being like a puppet there..

People go into shock and trauma after the incident and drama is finished...one's brain does not stop functioning right in the middle of the drama.

I buy the RK's revenge vendetta gloating for 20 minutes...but I don't buy Madhu's silence.

I am sorry if I hurt anyone's sentiments. And I take back my words, if anyone who understands psychology refutes my statement.

On poetic justice rules...I got the feeling that Rishabh Kundra for the man he is ...dug his grave today. If he finished Madhubala, even he is also finished in a way that is not yet visible to him or anyone, but we can feel it.

It is easier to said You are right but there are a lot of times where Mother has to behave very differently like others.

Yes she is a strong woman and an exceptional mother. And like I said, she will get to that point where she will realise this is futile. That RK is being a genuine monster and nothing is to be expected of him. And Madhu should never be allowed to be with this person. But her begging is more like knee-jerk reaction in the face of her daughter's tragedy. Well, we will know for sure tomorrow, right.

Hi shri...agree with you...she has been silent too long...she is going to be silent tomorrow also when padmini take her to RM to beg RK...Other than the fact that they are giving VD his chance to act phenomenally for 2-3 dys and then giving DD her chance to perform later, I dont see any reason...

@Bold: Shree...My perspective is your violent self defense instinct kicks up when you are dealing with a stranger, When it is some one you love and the act is unexpected...you become numb...it feels like drowing in artic water with a heavy cloth on your mouth and nose. You want to scream but you can't ...you want to breathe but you can't. I would compare this situation to one nice day your extremely loving husband decides to tell you that he has been cheating on you for last few years, has an another family and is now walking away with all your savings. Your brain becomes hyperactive by your body is unable to react. I am not sure how others feel about it.
@red: Agreed...very well written

Hey
I loved everyone's review abt the ep 🤗
It was an awsum ep , wonderful performance by the leads n kudos to dialogue writers 👏
Well i m still waiting to know whether its a pure revenge or not.
Madhu was completely shattered today , her love of life ditched her
Well if its the revenge then I somewhere feels tht Rk has developed feelings for her bt his fat ego doesnt let him realize abt it .
Madhu is a fighter she will surely fight back soon n now she is like a ghayal sherni so this time i would i love to see her reaction.
Rishbala will be more passionate from now on words.
Abt precap poor Paddy she is begging infront of Rk , wt do u expect from a mother who's daughter happiness lies wid a person like Rk.
Kudos to cvs
Great work

Second Take - Technical Aspect

The writers failed to convince me. They are trying to sell me Revenge theme which still does not make sense. They just transplanted revenge in the story...and RK was realy trying to justify to viewers that this Revenge is for real...and that I have to buy.

The writers tried to fit all the events and try selling it...but it was forced.

The song was played for whom...

The two montages...in succession...seems writers have taken a lot of risk...

Its utter confusion...and sheer desperation from the writing team to reinstate the antagonist states between RK and Madhu to reconcile to July story...

Basically who benefits now
The new viewers who just joined now, because now they really get to see the original story. viewers like us are cheated.

@Shri - The two montages in succession did not make sense to me either. I think it could be a blooper or still they haven't figured out which one to use. 😕

Shri,

I understand why Madhu was quiet, she was humiliated. He makes fun with her deepest feelings.

I think she will remain silent, that will create an image that she wants to be with him, and that in itself will be plotting revenge. Maybe I'm wrong.

You guys, I just got this image of Madhu and RK as one of those eternally on/off couples that are portrayed in the media.
Think about it- Rishbala on Koffee with Karan, being asked to define their relationship after Madhu has become a star.
Or mags with Rishbala on the cover, speculating that they are back together or not.
*Shudders*
I'm thinking this because with the current track, how would the cv's sell a sustainable relationship.
Ugh.
