The topic is do not use the word rape - bec rape has not been committed.
You are bringing different scenarios in.
I applaude you for really trying to prove your point - but in the whole convo - ur point keeps moving - so what exactly is ur point. Bec uptil now - I don't mean to sound offensive - but your argument is baseless bec it has been based on hypothesis only.

I am not sure IF I can make this more simple. Rape has not been committed so there was no point of this topic. If it was to stop members from using the 'rape' word than I will say that the 'rape' word becomes sensitive & offensive IF & WHEN you link it to real people & real life incidents, both of which is not needed here, when we are in a fictional drama forum with everything fictional.

Also, IF RK had gone physical than he would be a 'rapist' in my eyes (again, nothing related to real world victims or dictionary definitions, it's a fiction and I am putting forward my pov in context to this fictional drama).

You're absolutely right! 👏I'm currently studying law,and in Canada, if you have a live in partner, then they become your common law spouse. I don't know what the case is in India but as you stated that live in partners are granted equal rights that usually married individuals have rights to i.e property.

But Rape on the other hand, is the wrong wordd!! Raping of her soul? and Her feelings? Maybe...if you explain it right. But he didn't have sexual intercourse with her...rape or no rape. My question is that why are people saying rape as if its part of normal day to day language. It almost saddens me...

Correction: Would be one, he gone ahead with 'it.'

and even if they werent and it happened with Madhu's wish, still it cant b termed as rape according to laws

Exactly - with their point of view in mind it can be said that almost all women have been raped at one point or the other, if they dated someone and parted ways.

yes that is what it seems. if rk is a rapist then i also agree that all the women who willing give themselves to their husband in sense minded and eyes fully open has been raped

p.s. to me it is not rk raping madhu but some people in this forum are raping rk🤢🤢🤢🤢 screaming rape rape does not mean one has raped that person, but if madhu really get's raped by someone else then they will now the meaning of rape, then this joke won't come to play.

So now u agree that rape was not committed? Glad we agree.
And yes the topic as you now see it clearly was not a defence medium for RK - But to state stop using the word rape in the wrong context as it is very upsetting in discussions where the crime has not been committed.
And I do feel bad for real victims.. and it is a fair point to mention this here. Maybe this was the eye opener many needed.
And I think apart from you in this thread so far - everyone else has agreed with it.

@Khushi- One question. Do you call a divorcee a rapist if he divorces his wife after intercourse? Isn't the case similar here? Had RK gone ahead with it after MB's consent and later divorced her/ditched her, then how can a mutual consent for intercoure be called rape?

I have to admit the purple part of the post was Dishu's post I added with mine - so I credit your compliment to her.
I'm glad that you have validated this point here also.
I totally agree - people are making fun of rape here.. indirectly though - but certainly making fun.

👏Exactly!!! Bingo.. Yes, you can say Mahdhu was raped of emotions and her feelings, but not physical., if we talk about in term of context. I am pissed because people used "rape" in a such a way without thinking of the precautions of what they were saying. It's such a serious case, and I just don't like here how this word is being thrown around..

Chaakz, I just recently started watching the show. About people thinking here, I don't know what to say. All I can do is scratch my head.I wish I could be more active, and join you guys but am not that big fan of the show. The forum atmosphere irks at me at times , so I just come once or twice just to see what's the latest happening.I just had to come here because of this topic.😆
