Episode high on bhashan baazi by Madhu and Padmini..addressing social issues and vulnerability of women in Indian society...gud dialogies, gud acting by both Pallavi and DD...Madhu ka speech thoda lamba hogaya...but its ok...dey needed to create the hungama in the court...so gud job Madhu...power packed speech...👏 👏
Padmini finally vents out her pain of having put up with Balraj's atrocities for such a long time...very natural reaction from a victim of domestic abuse...Ok! I will stop here...I don't want to give readers another heavy dose after today's episode...Madhu mata kafi thi uske liye..😆

The rest of the episode was hilarious...with RK shooing away the media saying 'agar aap zindagi bhar k liye mere quotes aur interviews se door nai rehna chahte, to aap is tarah chup rahenge, ajise apne kabhi bolna seekha hi nai'. 🤣 🤣 OMG!! How does he manage to come up with such dialogues even in such situation...😆

Judge,public prosecutor and hamare Mr.Khanna...must be one hell of dramatics people...😆 They had me in splits with der reactions and dialogues...PP starts his case with 'Padmini chaudhari ek bohot hi abhagi aurat hai' 🤣 n den Mr. khanna, all he cud say is 'boliye boliye', 'bataiye bataiye' 🤣 n den again PP says to Madhu when she comes in the witness box,'ab bataiye parmeshwar ka matlab' 🤣 .The judge..I pity him...wo bhi soch raha hoga ke kiska case agaya ye mere court me...he was looking so scared througout padmini and Madhu's speech...as if just waiting for the trial to get over n go home...😆
Gosh! Courtroom drama in TV are always hilarious!!

All throughout Madhu's bhashan, RK was looking visibly impressed and amused with his Biwi...😎

Trishna once again walks off scott free. Madhu seems to have forgiven her. 😡 There is nothing much I can say about her...

Madhu n padmini, can we have some of your bhashan for Radhaji as well...Radhaji seemed very impressed...n started applauding Madhu...👏

And even in the coming romantic outing track they are getting Markhand Deshpande as cameo. He is one good actor. MB team definitely knew now what fetches TRPs for them.

i dun understand this TRP kahani..Ekta kapoor type narrative ACTUALLY works with the audience...suspense, drama, dragging, couples with good looking faces, grand sets, throw in some festivals here n there..

lets not compare MB to BV bec. BV has been running for so long, it has it's loyal audience..n they hit jackpot yet again with shiv and anandi and another one coming up..in b/w IPKKND gave tough competition to BV...and SSK ka toh naam hi na lo..it's one serial jiske fans bhi uski hasi udate hai 😆😆 someone wrote in SSK forum ke those who watch SSK should be awarded 😆 and SSK has higher TRP's than MB...😲😆 only relying on saas bahu drama and tears...

i personally hated all Colors shows till i came across MB...SP used to be better contentwise...pyar ka dard hai n all r dramebaaz serials but it's a good mix of everything so it clicks..and YR also ..at some point i was crazy about tht show but i cannot stand it now...neat & clean drama sans villains and vamps..Veera is good...SP is the only channel which works on a different format..otherwise all zee, colors serials and few frm sony also r exactly similar...MB is cut above the rest 👏 they better stick to whatever they r doing n not change the format..it's one of the top 5 shows, aur kya chahiye ..they DARE NOT make it SSK type 🤢

This is called a fast track court. Imagine if every case was recorded live by a channel and telecast, would cases be dealt with just as quickly?? But TRP's nahi aate...bad idea.😆 There 's no mesmerisingly beautiful madhubala to stun the judge, no handsome RK for eye candy!!

Anyway, the episode was too rushed...it could have been much more powerful. But I truly believe, if someone somewhere is affected by the serial enough to comprehend the underlying social messages ( domestic violence, female infanticide, women power), it is worth it.

SO I liked the messaging of the episode...though it was executed a bit untidily.

I have a few random thoughts:

How does a person like Trishna get away with such a serious mistake?? Padmini also hugged her!!?? i am still hoping that this Trishna factor is dealt with much more firmly
Madhu forgiving Trishna...today it annoyed me to no end. This is not ' all about loving your family'
RK looked bored in between. He was all attention when his wife was speaking obviously😆.
Madhubala looks tired. She also got beaten up, why has'nt anybody checked her for injuries??
padmini and RK have not had a proper conversation since the Malik-Padmini wedding. They were such an interesting combination. Their last real interaction was when she slapped him. Now she has so much to thank him for, one conversation to banta hai.
What's the next track, guys, apart from the picnic? The CVs have one day tracks now, very difficult to predict what 's next😆

Pallavi is an amazing actor yar no doubt..

ab maa ne itna acha lecture diya to Madhu kaise peeche rehti...so luved her take as well..

kudos to PP and DD...

funny thing for me was roma,she was with the same expression throughout the epi..😆untill she clapped though..

no slap for Trishna..c'mon yar how can she b forgived so easily...👎🏼🤢hate it...

sachi ! the person writing the script didn't have anything to say against Padmini 😆 hence these faltu dialogues ke she killed pati parmeshwar 🤢 i couldn't control my laughter when PP started talking 🤣 and Madhu's "excuse me" was hilarious 😆 excuse me Mr. PP, how dare you say that 😆

Thanks SD for compiling the info. Am wondering why the TRPs dipped on saturday. Obviously, the friday night 's trps show an upward trend. How and why did the anticipation not translate?

Was it the timing, the show did start later than usual, and saturday nights generally are busy for most families. Maybe this 6 day airing is not a great idea.

🤢 Today the show completed its social duty by giving out the social message on Nari Shakti. Hopefully we can get back to melodrama and romance now.

Today's sequences

1)RK tells off media and protects Padmini from story seeking vultures- RK looked hot 😳and Padmini looked graceful. Though unrealistic the way RK dealt with media, there is something endearing about RK trying to protect Padmini.

3)Trishna asks for forgiveness and accepts that she was wrong to accuse RK. Apparently she did it because she was stressed and confused or something to that effect. 😕My personal opinion is that she is smarter than that- she saw no one believed her and everyone was upset with her, potentially withdrawing thier support in future so she decided to ask for forgiveness and get back in everyone's good book. There was no regret on her face at all. While I understand there is no point in flogging her for her deeds...what is done is done... families need to stick together when in peril and pointing fingers at each other only creates more issues. I hope Maliks and Kundras realize that she is completely unreliable and self-centered. She will not hesitate in selling her family out again to achieve her dreams should the opportunity present itself.🤢🤢

3)The court case starts - Padmini finally reacts and tells that the court that she does not repent killing Ballu. Her only regret is that she should have done something similar years ago instead of running and hiding for all these years. We got a recap of what she went through all her life in her words. She eventually faints. I think the reality is beginning to sink in and while Padmini ended up shouting through the sequence... She embodied an abused woman at the end of her rope. Not bad!

3)Public prosecutor picks on Padmini and Madhu marches forward to give bhashan on nari shakti while RK looks on proud. As I said before the show did its social duty today in this sequence. This sequence was completely uneccessary and contrived. I have never been into righteous bhashanbaazi so I fastforwarded through it once she began to meander all over the place.🤢 I wish Madhu could give same bhashan to Radha at some point.

4)Padmini is released and the entire count claps for her...seriously!🤢

5)Precap- Very sweet ...Madhu is packing a suitcase for picnic. I thought picnics were a day affair ...obviously I need to brush up on latest definations. Anyways RK seems to believe that Madhu is all he needs to pack...dude... you are so cute and romantic but totally clueless how the real world operates (I guess one of the perks of being a superstar and having an efficient manager like Bittuji). How do you plan to thrive without a change of clothes and toileteries on an obvious couple day vacation?

Scenes with RK in them were paisa vasool ...rest was unrealistic bhashanbaazi. I wish they could have shown a more realistic courtcase even with all the bhashans and melodrama. All that was needed was the police inspector to come forward and say that Padmini had no prior history of violence and she killed Ballu in self defence. She did not have any options. A couple of proofs to prove Ballu was crazy and violent mad man dead bent on killing his wife and daughters in cold blood would have sufficed.

reason is simple Soundarya...saas, bahu, and bache hardly like to watch action on small screen..woh bhi third class..they wud rather change the channel n watch any bollywood movie...

i wonder , did BV get good TRP's on saturday? bec. they publicized kite fight b/w shiv and jagiya which concluded TODAY 😆 4 epi. se patang competition ho raha tha, imagine !

Court room drama at the supersonic speed. No time to recover from the shock of the murder. Murder followed by arrest yesteday, hearing and verdict today. Does that mean Padmini-Malik vivah finally sampanna by the end of the week? Why wait till then I say. Since they are both (and the rest of the family) already in the court, just go for the court-marriage. The usual legal notice before that etc does not apply in their case. Direct from the court they can proceed for their picnic.

See how efficient I would be at directing this at the speed even greater than how these guys are going? 😊 Dimag ko takhliph hi nahi.

The accused (i.e Padmini) takes a stand today in the high court (no less) and her defender is Madhu. Everyone else is just a spectator in today's drama. RK should not have gone through the trouble of appointing sheher ka very best lawyer for Padmini. He should know by now that Madhu is multi talented and she can single handedly shoulder the responsibilty to see that Padmini gets acquitted. She is well qualified to be the vakil, judge, witness and the jury.

Padmini's speech was very good. It was a good message that julm sehna julm karne jitna hi bada gunah hai.

Issues about girl child, female infantacide, reference to the recent Delhi gang rape case were high points of Madhu's speech today. It is a good thing that these details are being spoken in hindi serial but I just hope that these are not misused just as window dressing. I have not watched any other hindi serial but IMHO if these serious subjects are not given their due treatment and handled with extreme care, the hindi serials are better off remaining on the safe ground of saas-bahu drama.
