• The decision to air these serials on saturday must have been made after a whole lot of research on viewing trends. Yes, weekend viewing does happen to be boring. but having your daily soap on air, maybe brings in an element of ennui. So is it just 'alag che' kind of programming?
• Many people missed the episode because of family functions. They caught up with repeats, but repeats are not recorded for TRPs. For eg: BALH has a huge fan following but most people I know watch it in the afternoon slot, repeat slot, which is not recorded, so BALH actually has very low TRPs.
• Jan 26th - Timing of each serial should have been specified. Only SSK benefited because it starts at 730 anyway.
• With reg to MBEIIEJ, if they had pushed the Padmini shooting ballu part to monday, it may have made a huge difference. They used to have those mangalmay mangalwaar episodes, which were excellent. The party where they danced the passion dance, the RK shooting scene were all on tuesdays. It is right in the middle of the week when people who stick to a daily routine will definitely watch...ie: family audiences...office routine, school routine etc etc.
