Shows with high voltage melodrama get constant high TRPs and shows which are comparatively less melodramatic are far behind. You apply lots of make-up, wear heavy sarees, show crap household garners TRPs. Extra sweet people who can make you diabetic garner TRPs and people like RK who are not over-sweet will not fetch any TRP. How ironic!

Shows where marriage goes on for years and the episodes drag like hell attract the audience. I am soo pissed out at people also.

But again, this week even our show was extremely DRAMATIC but sans promotion and proper marketting dropped the entire show! I am frustrated and upset specially at SATURDAY TRPs

Good analysis Nishi. just saw the trp. rk radhaji episode got good trps. people love melodrama and emotion sales like hot cake. so mother son emotional moment got good response and like you said Promos and precaps are very important. i remember Poco used to say in her posts that if colors want more TRPs of MB they HAVE to show the most important/high points in precap. n good precap for the episode of friday and monday... etc etc... so agree with you.
