waise...recalling hilarious moments of the episode...

I cannot help laughing at the fact that ...of all the people, Bittuji was very happy sitting with his Bhabhiji. He was always going back to Madhu like a family. He did 3 times and the last time, he was pretty upset that RK usurped his place and would have shown his eyes angrily had it not been his Chief, who too showed his eyes...that moment was just too good to miss. Goes to Hall of Fame moments if you ask me. 🤣 But bad!!! he couldn't help his Bhabhiji and had to help or follow the orders of his chief. And Roma kept on observing this and helped RK get back his place besides his Biwi.

I also liked how Shamsher was asking Roma to stop laughing aloud when she couldn't control herself at Sikky and Dips' fall.

@bold - Also liked it when Dipali accepts Madhu's suggestion and starts dancing for her mother in law, and enjoys watching Radha dance. Somewhere it shows of all the people in the house, she is genuinely fond of Radhaji...even earlier, they've showed her in charge of her medical reports. Of course, she also manipulates her...that is her basic nature, can't be helped😡.

I thoroughly enjoyed today's episode after only been reading the written updates for the past week. It is definitely a calm before the storm before the D-day which is Jan 23 I presume. I couldn't be happier for the entire family of Maliks and Kundras. The Antakshari was a perfect way to keep the Sangeet lively and entertaining. What I liked the most was that the event was informal and every single person was an active participant despite RK and Madhu's secret agenda.

Are we given hints for a future pair who will be none other than Roma and Bittuji? Nonetheless, they would make a cute couple just like RK and Madhu where Roma will be like RK and Bittuji will be like Madhu. In other words, I don't have any doubts that Roma will be the one wearing pants in the house. LOL!

Padmini and Malik were beaming with pride and happy to see that RK and his family had arranged all of this for their Sangeet. As usual, RK has to be the center of attention and he gets attention one way or the other even when the Sangeet is meant for Malik and Padmini who by the way should be the center of attention. However, I did like the fact that he got Padmini's blessings and tightly hugged Malik and then went on to say that they are lucky to have him as their SIL which is true as there is no denying that fact.

Dips was her shameless self indirectly rubbing her back on RK and boy Madhu immediatley jumped to her feet only to grab her arm and take her away from RK. She never learns and what would it take for her to leave RK alone? One of these days, Madhu might just lose it and kick her out as she is asking for it with all her shameless acts.

Madhu gave a perfect start to the Sangeet and RK ended it with the sizzling hot song from their trademark movie Mr.India. They were very good with their moves and expressions. DD is a great performer with her versatile dancing skills so it seemed natural for her and VD's efforts clearly paid off considering he himself has admitted that he is not a good dancer. He seemed a little stiff when it comes to certain moves as opposed to DD's fluid movements. I know I can be critical considering that I had one of the toughest instructors while learning dance back in India all through my middle school and high school years. The chemistry was very good but at certain shots I noticed that they were too far apart even when seconds ago they were shown in each others other arm like a near embrace pose. I think that is more of an editing issue where I noticed the lack of continuity between the edits.

Both Madhu and RK are seemingly starting to show their naughty side but yet stubborn when it comes to removing the wall of pillows. The other day she definitely was wanting RK to do something naughty when he had fallen on her and was teasing him that he made a big deal out of nothing when all he was intending to do was admit his feelings for her which she can do as well. Today, RK went a step further and told her not to take him lightly and tease him simply because he has not taken advantage of his husband status with her and hence she is safe. The episode ended with RK proving that he could be naughty if he wants to by pulling her dori and we can see that Madhu's heart was in her mouth seeing what he had done.

Precap is basically showing the start of the storm with Trishan receiving bouquet from Ballu and refusing to admit everyone who the producer is who has sent her flowers for her mom's wedding. Both RK and Bittuji look puzzled as they have no clue who Ballu is and have inadvertenly brought that one person in their lives who is nothing but a omen of death.

And wasn't that funny to observe that only three people laugh at Sikky and more so Dipali's fall
Roma
Bittuji
and RK

RK and Bittuji - totally understood and RK was laughing in his heart. the eyes had that glint though he didn't show it on face. Bittuji couldn't help it, but was controlling it as he had to. Poor Roma, just couldn't stop. She is just so open, If in chawl and her crowd, she would have had all fun, here she was bursting at seams and her brother so controlling her.

And really someone was saying...Shamsher and Padmini were looking so beautiful. OMG, I am gonna cry, if they don't get to marry. God!!! why do they have to make Padmini shoot Balraj and end that shaadi drama...Couldn't the hungama have started after Padmini and Shamsher's marriage 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭

And honestly no matter how RK-Bittuji and Trishna have been instrumental in getting Balraj hungama done, I so wish no one is crucified. Please how is Bittuji and RK to blame ? And Trishna, poor girl, how many times she is gonna see failure and rejection. At this rate, she is going to be depressed.

🤢 🤢 🤢

I have one complaint with CVs for these three characters.

If Sikky, Dips and Trishna have served their roles, then they need to be retired. If not, then they need to have growth in character.

Sikky - we have seen that is a product of Kuku's rearing. Sikky as a child/son and husband is not that bad. Why should they lampoon him so much, instead of building a story later in the story?

Dips is far too intelligent for Sikky. Can she ask for a divorce so that Sikky atleast gets a chance at better marital life with some other woman and Dips gets to pursue something else in her life. Many starlets later on find different ways for survival.

And Trishna, she loves the family. So inspite of the jealous nature, which actually never goes away, but can her insecurities instead of being fanned by her family, can she be asked to grow over them. And please will the family stop treating her dreams as nothing ? That's what is irking her more. Comparitively, RK's insecurities are being cured by Madhu and her parents, yes their lectures have helped him, but the three were outsiders, Likewise Trishna should get an outsider to get treated out of her insecurities. Can she get some friends ? And as for dreams, only Roma and RK are concerned. But that is just a plot requirement, not in real sense.

Actually in real sense, wven Sikky needs a job, so does Dips needs a job.

I know this will sound quite strange, but Bittuji's rishta with Madhu and RK reminds me so much of Nandi's relation to Parvati and Mahadev. He is like family, attached and fiercely protective; he can always be counted upon to be utterly steadfast in their favour, and he has an undercurrent of buddhi which is not readily apparent until one "knows" him well (insofar as one can know a telly character!😆) There is a peculiar undercurrent of morality (i.e. dharm) which runs through the tracks and characters of this show - Radha never loses her compass vis-a-vis what is right behaviour for RK; RK rants but never crosses the rekha toward his mother, nor does he take physical advantage of Madhu at any point; Padmini and Shamsher stick firmly to their own inner moral structures; even Dipali, irritating as she is, never strays into the realm of the truly murderous. It is only Balraj who is our asur - full of demonic chaos. (So brace yourselves, ladies - incoming!)

Bhakti,

I loved reading your allusion there to mythological characters...so much. 😊Yeah, I do feel their principles in the way you say it. I just happened to mention earlier, RK and Radha relationship today. 😊

Okay, this is not about Dips...this is about Seema Mishra...I cannot refrain myself from admitting that the actress has amazing screen presence. Be it dialogues, be it her signature smirk, be it her moves on the dance floor, she has always managed to make her presence felt. Even today, with that horrible lipstick, making her look somewhat loud, she still manages to leave an impact with her sensuous number.

😲 did he say that? i find him very good, very very good...but yes, DD is far more graceful and confident...

their step on "tumne jo li angdayi hai" was no less than Sikky-Dips 😆 but rest of it was perfect...his expressions were perfect... he was thoroughly enjoying himself during "Radha" and "kaate nahi"

@Trishna: Everyone who thinks and dreams of making it big in the industry do not end up doing a film. Each day hundreds and thousands of people would be flocking the various studios, casting directors, etc but all do not end up with a role in a movie or show... Only a fraction actually get a role and only a fraction make a mark and get recognized... Trishna just needs to keep trying and keep facing rejections till she either strikes gold or if that does not happen, she has to make peace with it and move on in life... And this Balraj spelt doom from day one...

Padmini is of the opinion that junior artistes can never make it big in the film world and hence being a typical mother, she wants to see her settled in life. She prolly doesn't want her to become another Roma who is still single and finds solace in alcohol. Roma had malik, the girls, padmini but what about Trish? Pads, Malik and Roma are not going to stay with her forever and then Madhu is happily settled in her own family life. Padmini is a woman who believes in "chaadar jitni ho, tang utni hi failani chahiye" and hence trying to be realistic. But at the same time, no one is dissuading her. They are just going with the flow and not giving her false hopes and making her fly higher... Roma has already done enough of that... And if everyone starts giving bhav to her dreams, Trish would start doing her manmaani... It's quite a natural reaction of a middle-class family though they belong to the film industry. And it's not like Trish has exceptional talent...

And even now the family has every right to be apprehensive and grill Trish with questions as to the who and what of the producer and the details of the movie...It's just that they would be bothered about her good, safety and she has not been lured by a wrong man or into doing wrong things.. It's very understandable.. And it is upto Trish to put all their fears to rest patiently which in this Ballu's case, i don't know what she would do...

Madhu and Trish: There is always a disconnect between the two sisters... They just carry on with their lives, are good to each other till the other does not cause a problem and both are least bothered about the other's happiness or dreams. And most importantly when they are pitted against each other, one sulks n the other lashes... It is basically their love for Shamsher and Padmini that binds them to each other and remain cordial.
