whats with the lame hugs?

Just watched the new promo. It was great except the last 2 seconds.

The pheras and rk promising to love her was wow! How sexy was vivians voice in that scene. But then the hug. Damn! They hug like platonic friends. I think in the end rk actually pats, pats!! Madhu's arm during the hug.

What attracted me to mb was the fantastic chemistry of the leads. But now, everytime they are in each others physical space, all the chemistry goes poof! They look cute but not in junoon type of love. They smile, look fab, have cute scenes but every hug, zero intensity

Seriously I've lost hope with these two...their physical intimacy reminds me of siblings in the new promo let alone a hot,young couple.If this lame chemistry is due to the fact that its s family show on a family channel then I fear it will only get worse with time! The CVs have observed that the family drama is raking in TRPs...so passionate romance(not that there ever was any) and sizzling chemistry has bid adieu to the show for good...we can probably expect more passion in RK/Dips scenes these days 🤔

You know as soon as you criticise even one of them, the other person fans cry foul.

So i will be democratic and find faults with both
- vd is just uncomfortable given the loose way he holds his arms around mb
- dd smiles or cries depending on the situation. But i dont see any love. Or longing. She just goes all out but with no subtlety at all.

i agree!!! their chemistry was sizzling back when they used to hate each other... well, quite sizzling as compared to whats going on now... i don't see even 0.1% of the junoon promised to us by the makers, initially... its just mushy mushy romance... and every MU gets cleared up in, like, ONE episode!!!! i was expecting at least THIS one to drag on for abt a week or so... but NO. :/

Dips is sexy! Her body language, voive modulation, expressions are spot on.

Love your siblings comment. They actually hug like brother sister. When you hug on screen in love, you are supposed to tighten your arms, not tuck in your face under the male leads chin, you are suppoed to slightly scrunch your eyes - part relief of finally! And partly longing of more. There are literally a dozen different types of hugs but they do it by rote.
