First things first, or rather to start off on a positive note...I loved MB's dance. I wish RK had been there to see his biwi dance in full josh, rather than crying which is what he has seen, is going to see for some time. 😭
Madhu comes back to the chawl happy after meeting RK😉. They persuade malik to put one blob of Mehndi. Trishna puts lemon juice on padmini's hand, (makes mehndi darker). Madhu's watches her and wishes that she could ask her to do it for her as well. As Trishna walks off, she stands in front and shows her hand...trishna hesitates a bit, but is not able to resist and applies the juice on her and they hug. Padmini who looks so pretty by the way, is thrilled to see her daughters make up with each other.
Roma starts the song, madhu dances and trishna joins in like the old times. The whole family Padmini, Malik, madhu, Trishna hug each other!! End of mehndi scene.
i must admit, CV's have a way of making every routine scene so different. A lead character's confrontation scene is juxtaposed with another major confrontation scene of a supporting character. Maintains the drama element and forces the viewer to accept a non linear way of narration, this is new in Indian television soaps, at least.
Having said that though the Roma -Trishna scene was interesting,I was impatient with it because the RK-Dipali scene had also started. Roma confronts Trishna about the money, and questions her about it...she asks her, which newcomer gets 20 lakhs as an advance?? Who is the producer?? Trishna falls back to her usual tactics, blaming the world for always thinking the worst of her, this seems to be her favourite strategy, get into offensive mode so that the other person gets defensive and backs off.
RK Mansion
RK is waiting for madhu to come home. Dipali walks into his room. He is exceedingly polite with her, until she starts taunting him about his secret. Plus, she also taunts him about being unlucky and tells him to be wary of being happy.
And there he goes, apne pair pe kulhadi maarte huye...rises to the bait and starts telling her off...in RK style, walks very close, she almost thinks he wants to touch her, when he walks off, and tells her that he took up her challenge, Madhu has passed with flying colours, he has love in his life. madhu loves him enough to leave their current life/lifestyle. .forever.
I was'nt able to figure out at what point madhu must have started hearing the conversation. But Dipali notices her, laughs gleefully, and points to the door. RK is shocked to see Madhu, who has heard the conversation.
He rushes to her, but she does'nt allow him to touch her and walks out of the room. DD was quite good in this scene,(except for her bright pink lipstick😡) her body language as she stood still ...completely in shock and sheer disbelief at what she had heard. VD too was good, turns around with his usual RK swagger, and is horrified to see her.
pre-cap : Dipali once again taunts RK, this time she did'nt have to do anything, happiness is just not in his destiny. RK is more worried about Madhu.
The scene was heart breaking...for madhu obviously, so innocent in love that she accepted his condition unquestioningly. Not once did she doubt his intentions and just kept falling deeper and deeper in love with him, his plans, their life.
Also felt terrible for RK...someone who has always worked out his life, with extreme intelligence, has faltered, miscalculated this Dipali aspect. He was acting as if it was a game they were playing with each other, tilll he realised he went too far. And by then, it was too late.
