I was about to post this and it didn't go through because the topic was closed, so I'm opening a topic, because I want to be heard like everyone else...😳😊

I agree, at the moment his relationship with his fiance has made him vocal about kissing scenes, also when Madhu was having the "mein pareshan dream sequence" we noticed that he pretended to hold her waist only in the SBS segment, but in the show they made it look like he was holding her, also before he did raise an objection about touching DD's waist on the first day rishbala's marriage at the studio, so I also feel his relationship with his fiance and his commitment to her stops him committing to the character of RK in the intimate scenes (hugs, hold scenes etc) with Madhu.

Similarly is happening in their offscreen segments his professional to the extreme, where he even looks the other way, his body facing away from her, because he doesn't want any whiff of talk that he and DD are getting close.

I feel for him he should do other roles where he is not required to have a close relationship with a female in any his acting career, unless he is acting with his wife for him to be fully committed. They need to just act together only.

But as his already started MEIEJ, what can we do, we just have to tolerate it. But he does have other traits that we love as the RK character the attitude, half smile, good dialogue delivery. However intimate scenes with Madhu the chemistry sometimes suffers because of his commitment to his fiancee, it's better for him to do other roles where this is not required of him, or he acts with his wife only.

It's extremely unfair to the team of MB. Vivian gets PAID to do this, so it makes little sense for him to comment later on iterating how he has "LIMITATIONS". *rolling eyes* He was engaged I believe before signing MB, and I am sure he knew what all is required from him as an actor of a TV soap. Indian soaps are hyped and followed due to the popular jodis, hence it's very important for actors to maintain a cordial image off screen as well...that gives the show and the pair more fandom. Cmon the show's livelihood basically depends on the pair, as it's first a love story, and later a saas bahu drama.

His next show should definitely be a mythological one, or he should anchor maybe. Love stories and saas bahus require an actor to shed inhibitions which he certainly is not able to do. I genuinely feel that on screen, RK and Madhu are suffering due to Vivian's lack of interest.

i guess thats his personal choice and the madhubala team does not seem to have a problem with it. so i think we should forget Vivian and focus on RK and Madhu :)

But WORD to your post. I can see he's awkward. The only scene I liked is the pareshann song and him pinning her to the wall. It's not only unfair to MB team but to us viewers as well.

He never looks at her during off screen interviews as well. I don't care if he's engage/married blah blah blah. He signed up for an INTENSE PASSIONATE love story. Atleast that's what I thought.

And please if you're uncomfortable ACTING in romantic scenes please go find a desk job. Hero roles don't suit you.

Drasti played the role perfectly she hugged him passionatly all her movements were perfect but Vivian needs to realise that we can see this as he plays the role of rk so if he wants to be that superstar he became a actor its his job to make us believe that rk is in love with madhu his touch his look today i was disappointed at first i thought filler episode but today its was his reservation that showed. when hugging madhu

I am also feeling that sometimes the chemistry is missing like in the hug of today...

Vivian has his reservations abt kissing onscreen becoz he's commited...I can totally understand that.

But at the same time he should understand that he's an actor and he's doing a daily show named MEIEJ, so he well knew from the start that there would be alot of romance in the show.

So just as Nafz said the best option for him would be : either anchoring or acting in romantic shows with his would be wife only...

The USP of this show is the sizzling chemistry of RishBala and that should not suffer becoz one is commited or whatever...If things are like this then imagine what will happen after Vivi gets married after a couple of weeks...

Drashti is doing her utmost to make certain scenes look really well, but I feel that since couple of days something is missing in the chemistry department...

One example I want to add here: SRK and Kajol...both are actors, both are married, but when they come onscreen together they almost burn the screen with their chemistry...that is what they are getting paid to do and they deliver !!!!!

NO excuses of being commited or married !!!!

And if one actor is holding back, the other one will have some problems in delivering, coz in romantic scenes both actors depend alot on one another...

I hv never watched his previous show PKYEK...how was his chemistry with Sukriti in that show before and after he got commited to Vabhz ?????

Well honestly... even DD is not that great. Many times I thought she looked lost. Sometimes her expressions are so off.. I have a problem with both the actors not delivering.

Makes me wonder why she's called the queen of expressions. Anyway both the actors need to step up.

Just today I read that Vivian said, "I am married, so I have inhibitions". 😲 How demeaning that is to the other actors that manage to shed off their inhibitions and live the characters they choose to enact. Honestly no one held him at gunpoint when he signed up for this lowwwe story, that too an Indian show where pinning the chic to the wall and heavy breathing is a prerequisite! 😆😆 Banda is in love so it seems as if he's forgotten that he's an actor and he gets paid to do this. LOL. I have almost given up on the two actors being interactive during their intvws. I do not blame Dhrashti for this, because there's only so much she can try before becoming aloof. However, on screen and as a viewer I feel cheated since RK (and Madhu lately) seem so disconnected and uncomfortable during intimate scenes.

Here's an analogy. Imagine you visit a doc and the doc says, "sorry behen I can't treat you because you are an aurat and I am married to another aurat". 😆

I agree.. Its very commendable that actors like him today, value their relationship and thus do not approve of mingling too much off screen.. it makes complete sense and I support it.

But one has to be a professional onscreen. The problem with actors like Vivian , GC is that they stiffen , go rigid in intimate scenes. It makes the scene jarring cause right in that moment they remind you of them being actors and not the character. Its as if they want to remind everyone (right at that point)that they are acting. Unfair.

Its ok to not want to do go too intimate, but hell there should be some natural flow and a show of spontaneous touch for us to be immersed in the characters.

I desist much from making comparisons, but in this regard I really appreciate Drashti. She emotes and acts naturally in such scenes and then too maintains her distance and reserve off screen. Most of us don't care how they are off screen anyway.. But in such simple scenes as today's , so tame and mostly loving and warm, an actors hesitation can break the spell completely.

I really like Vivian as RK , i mean hes surprised us all and how! But he should get over this hesitation as a professional.
