radha / padmini - contrasting mothers!

today i hated radhaji! d characterisation is so selfish. as soon as she realizes that her rishu is getting close to his wife, she's not happy for d poor girl. she has seen how dis girl was insulted n humiliated by her son. she is not happy even for a sec for this girl. Not even for her son who has started living again. instead she starts dreaming of d day when he'll call her mom! she's so self-centred (if one wants to be magnanimous). and d lady was over acting ka dukhan. one side we have drashti doing a restrained act (with sorrow at heart but trying to make MIL happy) n on d other side we have this lady acting OTT! today i couldn't watch her. my tolerance level just went down today.

next scene we have padmini. dis lady has major problem at home (though self induced) but first thing when her daughter calls abt their family problems, she first advises her to think of her own life n not to worry abt her mom's home. her genuine happiness and her immediate response is to tell her to take care of herself n her husband and not to worry abt anythingelse. (no personal dreams here!)

what a contrasting mother characterisation! cvs shd realize radhaji is definitely not garnering any sympathy from d audience. if i were RK, i wdn't live with them - even 'janam denewali aurat' too!

or did d cvs deliberately make her like that! that's something to ponder!

I didn't see Radhaji like that. There is a difference between the two mothers because of their circumstances. Padmini has a daughter like Madhu while Radhaji has a son like RK. Madhu shows her mother affection and its clear that they have a good relationship while its the opposite for Radhaji. She doesn't have a mom-son relationship at all, it might be that she destroyed it with her own hands but now she is regretting it. She was happy for Madhu and RK but she also wished that she could also be part of it. Its not wrong for a mother to wish that her son calls her mom. If I was a mom and my son didn't acknowledge me I would feel really sad. I don't believe she is a selfish character but if you do then thats alright. I respect your opinion but I hope it changes.😃

Earlier i did feel little sympathy towards her. i don't know why today i was very irritated by d chr n actor too! may be its my perception, may be it'll change!

it all depends on dat chr acts in later episodes. let me wait n watch. i do accept there are different opinions abt each chr. dats what it makes interesting to read forum posts! i enjoyed reading ur take, though i cdn't see like that.

thats the difference with mothers padmini wants madhu to be happy n radhaji thinks of her self she will use n when it suits her abuse madhu

i dint watch todays epo so cant say about today ...but
i dont know what it is from the very beginning i never liked Radhaji char i dont know but there something very irritating about her

Agree with you.. Madhu better take care and be cautious.. Radha will prove to be trouble once she patches up RK-Radha..

i dun sympathize with Radha but i didn't get one thing.. why was she so happy that Rishu will come back to her? how ?? howz it possible? RK said i love you to Madhu toh that means Madhu will tell him to go back to his mom and he will do it? 😕 she has the authority & capacity to solve her maayka problems but not this one...i think the CV's need to fill up the gap here and show 1 reason why Madhu supports Radha..uniting mother son is okay , Radha is apologetic about her mistake fine but did she do anything to mend it? what about Dips, Kuku and Sikky? doesn't she know their true nature? why is Radha supporting them and never object to whatever they do ? if she has the guts to tackle these ppl. in her life, her son will come back to her automatically..madhu is not needed also..
