I think the point is to make Madhu bitter and soften RK up. Madhu will think that RK has revenge her for the fifth slap by spiking her drink. And we know how much RK hates it when Madhu throws false accusations of him. When she falsely accused him of insulting Malik at the puja he started kicking chairs and getting angry. When she dared him to violate her throwing off her dupatta he was again rage to think she can think so low of him. So he will be on a mission to clear her misunderstand which will continue to grow stronger.

the only quarrel in my mind from now on will be I will never be able to guess when RK is acting and when he isnt! Neither will Madhu! She was scarred he would drop her and kept on asking him if he was lying because he cant do anything else. It seems to be its deeply been engraved in her she can never trust RK or maybe even any other man for that matter.

I think we knew that from RK always thinking of Madhu. It could have been to pacify the outraged viewers but I dont think it helped. In fact it had the opposite effect on some like me.

@Sona - Yep, I too feel the same. Once trust is broken it is definitely not easy to regain it. How could she after all the things he had said and done. Despite him confessing his pain and me feeling sad and bad for the both of them, I just couldn't shake the feeling or better yet fear/worry for Madhu as to what if this is his revenge for the 5th slap. From the articles, it looks like he genuinely pours his heart and so is she. If not for articles, I would have a hard time trusting RK's admission today.

Very well put!! I am tired of Madhu doing the sacrificing here RK has his work cut out for him. I think more about than genuine it is about being fair.
