You : Finally, the Karwa chauth drama is over!
Me : You sound as if you didnt enjoy watching it.
You : It was dragged for over two weeks. Its a relief its over. And now we get to see some Rishabala scenes. I especially want to see RK caressing her face and looking at her mehendi, taking care of her.
Me : Ha.. Typical.. But I enjoyed the show..
You : You did! Why am I not surprised?
Me : There you go again.. You know, you are not too good at sarcasm.
You : Well.. There is no harm in trying, is there?
Me : *Smiling*
You : But why did you like the episode so much?
Me : Why else but for the lesson on catalysis...
You : *Confused* Catalysis?
Me : Yeah... Do I have to explain to you what catalysis is?
You : *Angry* No.. I still remember my high school chemisty. Catalysis is the change in rate of a chemical reaction due to the participation of a substance called a catalyst. But how is it related to the show?
Me : Why dont you explain the Karwa chauth drama?
You : Madhu fasts for RK. RK tells her he wont break her fast. Madhu keeps waiting for RK to come, but he doesnt. Everyone else completes their vrat except Madhu.. Madhu feels sick and is about to faint when finally RK arrives.
Me : Why do you think RK came, especially since he said he wont come?
You : Well, he doesnt care much for the Karwa chauth after seeing the examples of Dipali and Radha. But he does care for Madhu. I think it was just his unwillingness to accept the change in their relationship that prevented him.
Me : But he still came, didnt he?
You : Yeah, stubborn guy.. I am glad that Bittuji scolded him.
Me : Bittuji was a very efficient catalyst, wasnt he?
Thought for the day
"I am personally convinced that one person can be a change catalyst, a "transformer" in any situation, any organization. Such an individual is yeast that can leaven an entire loaf. It requires vision, initiative, patience, respect, persistence, courage, and faith to be a transforming leader."
- Stephen R. Covey
PS. Sometimes all we need is a little push, isnt it?
