And it is actually cute that they both are dreaming😆

Although am not a big fan of RK( or any stereotypical arrogant male), I think credit goes to CV's & VD's portrayal of RK -even when he was at his meanest, it was fascinating that he didn't cross the line from "hero to villain" ( one episode he says something like that). He balances on the edge between good and evil, but never crosses the line to join the "dark" side - always redeeming himself at the brink. He's a character driven by inner demons and inner angels- so he does more damage and more mahaan acts/good than he initially/consciously sets out to do.

Contract -
From what I remember, it was in retaliation to Madhu publishing the pictures.
At the time of marriage,he didn't intend it to be a contract. Initially Madhu and RK used "contract" to get even with each other in their verbal battles, but after he gets shot, the marriage became too real and they cometely stopped mentioning it.

The episode starts off with RK/Madhu looking into each other's eyes and trying to see what they feel for each other is true. Eyes are like mirrors to our souls and much has been talked about the scars on his soul inflicted by his loved ones by RK and what Madhu was trying to do today was to look for the goodness in him as it was reflected not only in his eyes but in everything he had done so far for her. On the contrary, he couldn't keep staring at her for long because he did not want her to look for goodness in him instead he wants her to retain her perception of him being a harsh, cruel and heartless person who does not understand the importance and value of other's feelings. His exact lines from yesterday that really touched me was that he knows that she thinks of him as "ek zahar se kadwahat se bara insaan jise na tho doosron ki baawanaon ka kadar hai aur na hi keemat". Her reaction to that dialogue was nothing compared to what she had learned of him after his revelation of his past and we can see a new found admiration for him in Madhu's eyes which RK does not want to see. I am starting to think that he feels that his soul is tainted and when he looked into her eyes all he could see was just exactlly what Malik had stated, a pure, selfless, untainted, innocent soul. He could not stand the light and brightness shining through her eyes which is clearly the reflection of her soul, a stark contrast to his. He does not want her to invest too much of herself in him as he fears that he might not be able to reciprocate the way he should be to a person like her who is caring, concerned and selfless regardless of his ruthless acts. Aaww.. I love these two. They both are trying to take away all the pain from each other's lives and in the process are going to get hurt. They are definitely a unique couple and my love for them keeps growing day by day.

It was so hard for Madhu to pay attention to what he was saying when he asked her to wear her seat belt because all she was trying to do at that time was to assimilate everything that had happened so far and the biggest impact of it coming from RK's revelation of his past. He is no longer the jaanwar that he made her to believe instead he is the most senstive, caring person that she would ever come across. As I had said in one of my earlier post, the enitre basis for their marriage was hatred and revenge and for her to know that is no longer the case is very refreshing and hence she is brimming with so much pride and happiness that she married a good man and not some heartless cruel monster. DD was brilliant in the scene where she was lingering and kept staring at him when he got into the car first and was waiting for her to get in. She was in awe of him wondering how on earth he could do such a tender act of protecting her and not wanting her feelings to be hurt when all he did or think of in the past was to plot and execute her tortures one at a time. She now knows that the dynamics of their relationship has changed somewhere during the time frame when he was shot and she was selflessly fighting with all her might to bring him back from the clutches of death. RK started to look at her differently after the incident because he knew that he has wronged her and inspite of him putting her through a series of embarassment and humiliation she was able to set those things aside and focus on one and only one thing and that is her determination to save his life no matter what. No man would be able to resist such a selfless trait and RK is no exception.

There is no doubt that both RK and Madhu have started to realize their feelings for each other. From the looks of their bedroom scene, while Madhu will be ready to admit her feelings atleast to herself, it is going to be a battle against his own emotions/feelings for RK when it comes to Madhu and he will try to suppress it and distance himself to contain his growing feelings for her. That was such a cute scene where she had so much love and adoration for him when she went over to cover him with a blanket and gently touch his hair and cheeks. While he was pretending to be fast asleep, he was indeed loving the way she was taking care of him but his ego would never let him admit that to her and of course she knows that and hence the gentle smile she gives before she goes back to bed. There was this wall of pillows between them and yet he runs away from her to the couch unable to meet her eyes that had so much care, affection and concern for him, the very emotions that have become foreign to him and the lack of which has turned him into a cold and calculative person. I was surprised that he was drinking alcohol after she had thrown all of it out. But, instead of making a big deal she was lot more understanding of him while trying to remember his admittance that he drinks alcohol to drown out his pain and sorrows and also to survive from one long night to the next day.

Dips and Sikki scene was hilarious. She gives him the worst treatment and yet he keeps going back to her. He wants her to keep the Karwa Chauth vrath for his long life and she tells him that she will eat her stomach full so that his life span is shortened. I should say that they both are made for each other and would not hesitate to kill each other if situations warrant for it.

I felt bad for Padmini today and the actress Pallavi was spot on with her emotional pleading. I especially liked her makeup and the simple yet elegant saree. Dips was yet again spewing venom on Padmini who was pleading with them to understand that neither Madhu nor her were involved in any of the attacks. I loved Padmini's response as to why they should trust her and Madhu and the reason being Madhu has done a lot to gain the trust from all of them and they cannot disagree to that obvious fact. I also loved it when she gave her curt response to Dips and turned to look away from Dips and address only Radha. She knows that Radha is RK's mom and is only answerable to her as Madhu is her D-I-L and is married to her son. Padmini clearly understands what Radha is going through as a mother becasue she could put herself in Radha's shoes. Just like Padmini did years ago running away from Balraj to keep his daughter alive, safe and protect her from all impending dangers, Radha was/is worried for her son's life and wants to keep him from danger. She can easily relate to that and hence she was there to make her understand that Madhu is not and will never be a threat to RK. I loved Padmini's dialogues today and the actress was brilliant in portraying her emotions so well.

Precap was short and sweet with RK calling Radha and Dips to "CUT" the crap. I guess this is where just like the articles had stated RK would defend Padmini and give her the due respect she deserves and add another feather to his cap and seal the deal in Madhu's mind that she is indeed in love with RK and even go on to admit that to him in her dream.
