RK and Madhu's hate for each other leads to their obssesion for each other, which in turn, as they are showing now, leads to love. But the obssesion is still there-its still lurking and something is going to happen soon. I feel that the love they feel for each other will only enflame the obssesion they have with each other. Didn't the producer say it was a "Romeo and Juliet" story with the background of a family drama? Romeo and Juliet were together yet apart, obstacles forever in their way, yet never enough to keep them away from each other. I feel like that's going to be Rishbala. Obstacles always in the way. Passion, love and Obssesion always driving them. I hope/pray that the hate part is done though- its so overdone in serials. I want something new. Conflict between the lead? Sure, go for it. But don't make them regress.
Also, reading what I wrote, I realize that no matter how you really look at it, Madhu and RK's relationship is going to be a very unhealthy one, what with there crazy co-dependancy on each other.

Apollo, I like your point. I too am hoping that the hate is done and over with. Its love laced with obsession served on a dark platter of family drama. I wouldn't be able to digest RK and Madhu hating each other...I'd rather see them obsessed with their Ishq and Junoon.
One thing is for sure, if its not Dipz then it would be Trishna creating problems for them. Plus I don't see Dipzy going anywhere anytime soon. She is like a nasty stain which refuses to be removed...there is no cleaning but total replacement ki zarurat padegi.

Indu and Saanchi brim with so much of confidence unlike these two here. They can take gangs and gangs of goons down. Indu to Dipali ko Makhi ki tarah treat bhi karega aur machar ki tarah maarega bhi 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Yes Siri... Seems some dialogues between the two have been chopped off. That's why I was wondering why Vivian's expressions changed from teasing to romantic. You can see that change around the same in his eyes...Damn! what was wrong with them...why did they have to chop off ?

@editing glitches...I agree too. Everyday they have these errors when running Hotty and Maddy scenes. For ex: the recent ones...Dining table scene was messed up...and the way Maddy falls over Hottie in Ghar se bahar nikalo abhiyaan ...either direction of eyes changes or Maddy's hands on there on shoulders or are removed in next take.

Thanks for bringing this topic here. Hope a PH butterfly notices that these errors are irksome...

Today's episode was intense and story wise it was a progress by leaps and bounds. Loved every bit of it. Both DD and VD were outstanding in their performance. On a different note, RK is still wearing the white shirt and since I like the color white I will not complain even if he wears it for another episode. I guess it is still the same day and hence he has not changed his outfit 😆.

The episode starts off from where we were left last week with RK asking Madhu to feed him and she as a dutiful wife feeding him with her hands. I especially liked the part where he said "Thank you Biwi" and I felt that it was a genuine heartfelt appreciation from him for her being a good listener when he shared his guarded memories from his childhood. So, it was indeed a test for Madhu that he put her through for everyone else at the table to know that she is not the one after his life. He made it loud and clear that he trusts her more than anyone else and orders them to stop giving her a hard time. It was yet again another slap on Ditzy Dips's face when he told her that she does not understand the meaning of trust and does not have any right to question Madhu's intentions by belittling/pointing fingers at her to accuse her of poisoning his food when he was cleary acting. What would it take for this woman to leave him alone and mind her business. Does he really have to retort to physical violence of slapping her to stop her from getting any sicker than this? Although I have to be honest, and wanted someone to slap her when she was tugging at Madhu's mangalsutra and it seemd to me that if RK did not come and push her out of Madhu's way on time it would have been broken.

RK is clearly attracted to Madhu and the attraction was there even when he had nothing but hatred for her. Now that he has started to respect her and trust her with his life he is seeing her in a totally different light and the person he sees is actually fascinating enough for him to be playful and tease jokingly. Madhu is slowly coming out of her shocked self and we can clearly see that when she was stern in questioning RK and wanted a response from him as to why he let Malik go unpunished when he knew all along that he was indeed responsible for every single one of the attacks on him. His response was that certain things that are delicate need to be left alone otherwise it will break. I think that this response was his way of saying that she is better of not knowing answers to certain questions that are delicate enough to make or break a relationship? When she went on to reprimand him for his act at the dinner table he brushes it off calling it a dark humour and tells her that she should learn to laugh it off. I am with Madhu on this one as it literally made me scream out when the precap was shown last week and since we all have reasoned out over the weekend that he was just faking the act the scene did not make a huge impact. I also felt that it lacked continuity when Madhu left abruptly even before she knew he was OK and he was still coughing. So, he had to pull her back to prove her that he is OK and he did all of this to reinstate her status in this house and that is she is his wife and no one points fingers at her and if they do then they will find themselves out of this house which is his.

Trishna's acting was as usual OTT but I was glad atleast she stood up for Malik and asked Padmini to forgive this one act of his taking into account all the other sacrifices that he had committed in the past. In the beginning, Padmini's response did not make any sense when she said that Trishna will never be able to understand a wife's perspective and can only think as a daughter. I know Madhu is having a hard time forgiving Malik since she is RK's wife and Malik tried to kill her husband. But what about Padmini? She is a wife but is she Malik's wife? I don't think so. So why does she have to equate herself to that status when the man who she was married to was nothing but a monster and Malik was the one who saved her. However, it does not make sense for Padmini to equate Malik to Balraj when one's intentions were genuine and the other's were not. I am also starting to think that just like Malik became a "circumstantial" husband, Padmini also equated herself to a "circumstantial" wife and hence the hurt that he could do something to hurt someone to such extent with so much vengeance. I don't think that she is ungrateful but she is deeply hurt that the person who she thought as "apna" would do something such hurtful.

The kitchen scene where Dips confronts Madhu was repulsive and this woman spews so much hatred on Madhu simply because she is married to RK and what she thought was a marriage of hatred is now turning into something more for both people who are starting to build their relationship based on faith, trust and respect. Dipali knows that the hatred is going to be replaced with love pretty soon and hence her vile act of wanting to throw Madhu out even before that happens and she looses RK to her for good. To me Rishabala's marriage in its actual implementation is usually different from its theory and its first blush. Traditionally, in a marriage, two parties are supposedly in love and there is more emotions than concern for each other's significant well-being. What we see in Rishabala's case is that their love is not going to be according to this world's definition of love instead I look at it as more on the lines of tainted love where their relationship began under unpleasant circumstances but they have grown over a period of time to accept each other the way they are and are heading towards the direction where they will find comfort and solace in each other's company. I loved their journey so far and I am even more excited for how they proceed to shaping up their future. It is going to be an arduous task with people like Dipali around but I am positive that they will find peace through the healing power of love, comfort in memories and strength in each other's love throughout whatever difficult times they will be forced to face.

Today was the day that Madhu clearly understood that RK has accepted her as his wife regardless of what people think or how they make a mockery out of their char pera marriage. He made it crystal clear when he said to Dipali that it does not matter whether they took char or chalis peras what matters is what he thinks of her and he thinks of her as HIS wife. Like RK would say out and over, end of discussion, case closed. Whatever she wants to interpret it is upto her but he was done reiterating the same fact over and over again. It was beautiful when they showed all the flashbacks where RK had treated Madhu with such gentleness, care and concern. One thing to notice is that eventhough he denied any relationship with Bhatias he still talked about his mother and clearly told Dipali that he is putting up with her antics and the rest of the Bhatias simply because of his mother's one wrong decision to marry Kukku. That was an Aawww moment for me. Eventhough he had not spoken to Radha for 14 years he is still looking out for her and is putting up with this bunch of losers only because he does not want her to suffer if he threw them all out.

Precap was amazing with RK finally opening up to Madhu about his wounds and how those wounds that were caused by the betrayal of someone close is hard to heal and takes a toll on one's emotions was heartrending. At that moment, I really wanted to reach into the screen and give him a hug and tell him that everything will be OK and Madhu is there to make it all better. The filmy dialogue that he had said earlier when Madhu asked him if he was still in pain when he was flinching while removing his cast came to my mind which goes like "Jaan abhi bhi dard ho raha hain khuda kare tumhare sare dard mujhe mil jaaye". Eventhough, Madhu said that she never used the word "jaan" or never asked him to give all his pain to her, it is evident from the precap that over a period of time he is going to become her life (jaan) and she is going to try with all her might to take away all his pain. Beautiful story telling by the CVs, don't you guys agree?

I stopped by again to elaborate on what I felt...

I am sure Madhu never got bullied in her life. Her Hauslon se Veer hoon has always given her the courage to fight since young. That's why she doesn't need HUMOUR as the required SKILL to DEFEND herself.

Madhu's body language in every way was expressing this in her silent yet correct response to Dipali.

RK definitely has been bullied in his life. And he might have had to run away due to lack of support. And this must have hurt his ego real bad. I am seeing the broken glass that he once showed to Madhu in his anger.

Madhu's realization finally what she means to RK.
She knew she was committed to RK as his wife. However whether she can assert that before him and others, she did not know that. (Let me call her dim-wit ...just for my sake...mujhe accha lagegaa...)
She always thought RK calls her BIWI in the sense of his property and he was protecting her for his ego, for himself.
Today, suddenly, in the heat of the moment, with RK's words, it dawned on her, that infact it was his COMMITMENT and not his EGO that made him protect her. She finally could piece everything...his coming to rescue her, his sitting at the pooja, his saving her honour before the Bhatias...kya boloon main Madhu ko...chalo koi baat nahin...der se aaye, durust aaye

Finally she realized, he treats her as much as his wife, as she treats him as her husband.
Today, in this revelation, which is now BOOST, HORLICKS, COMPLAN, MALTOVA for her to tackle the Bhatias, soon, she might start to understand the broken glass that her husband is. She had to see it finally that...just as her husband is protecting her honour, Madhu too has to protect her husband from the Bhatias insults..because if she gets insulted, that is an insult to her husband as well.

Well Madhu was a dim-wit from the days of Mukku...now with changed situation, she may learn soon, how she has to support her husband. I have seen it today...RK can only do that much. More than this he cannot do as the next step will be "Haath Uthaana"...That's the only way Bullies can be controlled.

HUMOUR - WHY O WHY ?
I liked the way the writers extended on RK's HUMOUR through Madhu's admonishing. RK confides to her why he uses Humour...Dark humour versus ordinary jokes. Strong people rarely need jokes to tell others their limits. However, when pushed into tough world of politics, diplomacy where negotiation is the only way one survives, then only one thing helps...HUMOUR. Men in office excel at this. Men and Women excel in this when surviving amidst tough joint families. For in the hypocritic world around us, one who fights or raises a voice is deemed as unsophisticated and a trouble-maker. Excellent psychological depth added to the subject matter through Madhu and RK's interaction.

Bullyism, Humour, Sarcasm, Habits, Aloofness ...watch Big Bang Theory.

Shri, I loved your reviews very much today 👏. I guess we all had to wait for Madhu to have some flashbacks in order to realize her relationship status with RK 🤔. This woman got a clear answer today; therefore, if she decides to neglect any of Dipali's attempts of seducing her husband in the future will be considered a foolish act (at least I would see it that manner). She has no more excuses to hide behind when it comes to defend her marriage, the man clearly declared her his wife. She should be able to stand up to Dipali and tell her to f*** off when it comes to RK 😡.

I really enjoyed the entire episode, it was indeed very eventful. I loved the bedroom scene, of course who wouldn't??? It was RishBala moment 😳!!! I loved the confrontation between RK and Dipali, he delivered some strong words to Dipzy, while providing an explanation to Madhu. His feelings towards Bhatias were made obvious to Madhu (only if that girl could process it right and let the info stay in her head). However, what I really adored was RK's recognition of Madhu as his "HOME" during the dining table scene. That was really touching; I felt that RK finally admitted to seeing her as the home that had lost during his childhood, the home that was once filled with care and devotion.
