I stopped by again to elaborate on what I felt...

I am sure Madhu never got bullied in her life. Her Hauslon se Veer hoon has always given her the courage to fight since young. That's why she doesn't need HUMOUR as the required SKILL to DEFEND herself.

Madhu's body language in every way was expressing this in her silent yet correct response to Dipali.

RK definitely has been bullied in his life. And he might have had to run away due to lack of support. And this must have hurt his ego real bad. I am seeing the broken glass that he once showed to Madhu in his anger.

Madhu's realization finally what she means to RK.
She knew she was committed to RK as his wife. However whether she can assert that before him and others, she did not know that. (Let me call her dim-wit ...just for my sake...mujhe accha lagegaa...)
She always thought RK calls her BIWI in the sense of his property and he was protecting her for his ego, for himself.
Today, suddenly, in the heat of the moment, with RK's words, it dawned on her, that infact it was his COMMITMENT and not his EGO that made him protect her. She finally could piece everything...his coming to rescue her, his sitting at the pooja, his saving her honour before the Bhatias...kya boloon main Madhu ko...chalo koi baat nahin...der se aaye, durust aaye

Finally she realized, he treats her as much as his wife, as she treats him as her husband.
Today, in this revelation, which is now BOOST, HORLICKS, COMPLAN, MALTOVA for her to tackle the Bhatias, soon, she might start to understand the broken glass that her husband is. She had to see it finally that...just as her husband is protecting her honour, Madhu too has to protect her husband from the Bhatias insults..because if she gets insulted, that is an insult to her husband as well.

Well Madhu was a dim-wit from the days of Mukku...now with changed situation, she may learn soon, how she has to support her husband. I have seen it today...RK can only do that much. More than this he cannot do as the next step will be "Haath Uthaana"...That's the only way Bullies can be controlled.

HUMOUR - WHY O WHY ?
I liked the way the writers extended on RK's HUMOUR through Madhu's admonishing. RK confides to her why he uses Humour...Dark humour versus ordinary jokes. Strong people rarely need jokes to tell others their limits. However, when pushed into tough world of politics, diplomacy where negotiation is the only way one survives, then only one thing helps...HUMOUR. Men in office excel at this. Men and Women excel in this when surviving amidst tough joint families. For in the hypocritic world around us, one who fights or raises a voice is deemed as unsophisticated and a trouble-maker. Excellent psychological depth added to the subject matter through Madhu and RK's interaction.

Bullyism, Humour, Sarcasm, Habits, Aloofness ...watch Big Bang Theory.

A ? . Seems Mannoids asked what RK wanted to hear when he cornered Mads. Same thing. What did he want to hear?.

And if Mads said "mein darr gayi" then what? So he likes that she cares for him and is affected by him? He certainly seems comfortable and his smirk says he's enjoying seeing her flustered.

So is he ready to take it to the next level or is it just innocent flirting?

Didn't I say yesterday, RK will tell her when he sees in her eyes that she's gonna respect his decision for her whatever it is...without any kind of judgement on him...good or bad...will just let him be...and live with his decision. That opening for RK was achieved today with the intimate scene they had in their room. Her rightful anger at his choking joke let them take their interaction led him to nail her to the wall and again read her eyes for what he wanted to see. Biwi ki aankhon ne permission de diya, ab RK tayyyar ho jaayega Biwi ke questions answer karne ke liye.

😆 😆 Loved it. Poor guy! So many more powers on the diffidence side when compared to his Biwi's diffidence.

@AA
agree with you ...they are both are quite low on Self-Esteem. And they are those individuals, who would rather stand behind as support to people whom they love upon seeing them in trouble. Love for now will boost them a lot. Then one day...they might become wholesome individuals equipped to lead on the world.

This is not a review of the episode but something that I felt about what is happening now, and I was wondering if there could be a hidden scheme being built. I know many would not like what I am saying. But could there be a possibility?

If we look at the developments between the two, everything looks hunky-dory and favorable. But there is some plan that the CVs are weaving that is not quite apparent. Is there a strong vibe that is intangible yet but present there? Everything is going so smooth between RK and Madhu, and there is a lot of development that is very much positive and that is giving the too-good-to-be-true feeling.

RK seems to develop this faith way too quickly and strongly (sort of feels like a blind trust too). I agree that there are reasons why he trusts her. All that she has done to/for him is worthy enough for anyone to grow such trust. He is deprived of love, care, and trust and family and is surrounded by bloodsucking parasites that is also amounting to this new found emotion and hence he is getting carried away and completely giving into her. She seems to be the only one he can see, feel and react to. She makes him feel the man he is and not the beast he was. RK seems to be falling for Madhu faster than how we thought Madhu will fall for him first.

Madhu. The oridinary girl who was pulled into the whirlwind unintentionally. She faced humiliation, fear, hurt, pain, insult, uprooted from the cosy family life, etc. As much as she is shown the docile, timid, unassuming, and unassertive person that she is, it is hard to believe that she is just the run-of-the-mill heroines, especially when she is bearing the title of the show on her shoulders. Is that so simple? Is she turning to be that simple girl who started falling in the stereotypical wife category doing the mundane duties? It is true that she would have saved anyone in trouble, would have donated blood to anyone to save their life, etc. It is also buyable that she is feeling attracted to RK at a personal level being a woman. All the good things that she has been doing for RK is a bit more than what it would mean for anyone else. He awakened feelings in her in a different way, hence as a woman she is drawn to him. Eventually she might fall for him too. Before ultimately they conquer and consume each other, are the CVs planning for a game that is unexpected by us. Like could it be like Madhu is actually playing the game of ploy to take revenge? Could it be like she is building step by step to totally conquer RK and then beat him below the belt? Just wondering. I am very intrigued.

The story has to have that dark love story which the current developments don't vouch for. The show is all about the dark love story. There is this intense love-hate between the leads that lead to ishq and junoon. Also there is the infamous stardom track for Madhubala. I find something hazy and obscure that is going to playout bigtime in the near future. Anyone agree with me?

Agree with you bigtime. But I honestly never got the love-hate part of it- I always thought: it's love, its obssession. RK and Madhu's hate for each other leads to their obssesion for each other, which in turn, as they are showing now, leads to love. But the obssesion is still there-its still lurking and something is going to happen soon. I feel that the love they feel for each other will only enflame the obssesion they have with each other. Didn't the producer say it was a "Romeo and Juliet" story with the background of a family drama? Romeo and Juliet were together yet apart, obstacles forever in their way, yet never enough to keep them away from each other. I feel like that's going to be Rishbala. Obstacles always in the way. Passion, love and Obssesion always driving them. I hope/pray that the hate part is done though- its so overdone in serials. I want something new. Conflict between the lead? Sure, go for it. But don't make them regress.
Also, reading what I wrote, I realize that no matter how you really look at it, Madhu and RK's relationship is going to be a very unhealthy one, what with there crazy co-dependancy on each other.

Sorry guys this is the first time I have not read any of your views and making my comment first. I wanted to pour my heart and all the feelings that I felt when I saw the episode.

One word. Wow! RK stole the show for me. He looked and was just amazing. What dialogues and what a way he showed everyone their place. Muaahhh. Love you man! You just are amazing actor.

Monday rocked for me today. What a Monday episode. It was a bit fast paced. But RK just was magnificent. What all that protective for his biwi. He was like an archangel today avenging for his Madhu. haayeee..just superb! And their eye lock and especially when he had her cornered and he said if I do it again then what ! Hahahaha

and the best moment for me was the look tat RK gave Madhu when she escaped , damn.! I was envious of Madhu. I wanted it to be ME! This is getting crazy. But all the time when RK was holding her. I was envious.

Am I beyond hope! Can I be saved? SD.. Peaches, Preet, help me?

Loved these lines SD. Glad that u further elaborated ur review. I was like SD gave A grade to the episode and such small review😔. 😆 Jokes apart, I wont call Madhu dim-wit ( Mujhe acha nahe lagega 😆), glad that she managed to put all pieces together. Sigh ...after so much of drama, she is finally set to cross the next level of his relation with RK.😳

@ DV ...I dont think so makers are planning some major shocker. They are playing safe with Rishbala love story, which will be followed by stardom track some time in future, depending on the TRPs the show receive.

Doves,

I beg to differ. From the promos of the show it never appeared to me as Dark Love Story. It appeared to me a junooni love story. Love story is normal...if you add junoon...it becomes the soni-mahiwal, heer-ranjha types love.

I don't know why...but of all the love jodis that I saw in cinema, I'm reminded of Baiju Baanwra ...Baiju and the girl he loves...for whom he was ready to sacrifice his career. Baiju was much better musician than Taansen. However, he was not as focussed as Tansen and he refused to go to Akbar's court when the girl he loves doesn't reciprocate his love.

Waise, I am not sure what are dark love stories...may be the hero needs to be dark like Heathcliff of Wuthering Heights...But in my opinion, even a love from a totally good guy if driven to limits of madness makes it a junooni love story.

I am gonna read it again ...what you wrote there...but yes...in a daily soap...the couple cannot live in love forever. Something will cause them to seperate in order for Hum Hai Tere Deewaane song to make meaning.
Check the lyrics again..

Madhu's version - the angst felt at the resignation...and yet accepted in all gladness for the pleasure of it ...the yearning to sacrifice herself for his love

Kaisa yeh ishq, kaisa yeh junoon ?
Bekaraar mein hi tu karaar !
Tu rah ke bhi door, mujh mein hai rabba
jaane yeh kaisa hai pyaar !

Hum hai Deewane Tere Deewane ... 4

Tujh se hasee, tujh se udaasi
Kadmaakash hai rabba
Roothi hoon phir bhi raazi
Tu hi hai maula Tu hi hai Qazi - 2
Kya karoon bayaan
Tere Ishq pe jaan Qurbaan

Hum hai Deewane Tere Deewane ...4

RK's version - the pleasure of of attainment felt and even more the pain of longing and separation felt deeply ...the yearning never to be afar from her

Tera Ishq hi Mera junoon hai Mahee
Bekaraar Kahe ya karaar ?
Bujh ke na bujhe ye pyaas o rabba
jaane yeh kaisa hai pyaar!

Hum hai Deewane Tere Deewane ...4

Kitni baar hum milke bicchde
tu hi jaane rabba
Duniya se hum begaane
Tu hai sirf Meri, Phir bhi na jaane - 2
Mujh ko tu ye bataa
Dooriyan hai kyon darmiyaan

Hum hai Deewane Tere Deewane ...4

AA: I agree that the "hate" quotient seems to have become nonexistent. But to have an obsession stemmed out of blinding love, there must be some other driving factor/emotion. Only then the dark love story will have the impact. Otherwise it will be so bland and flat. If RK is feeling all good about Madhu, what more is left. He already has her in his world and all of her for himself, of course less the love now but that will not take too much time for him to instigate that in her, especially guaging the speed at which he is knocking her off her feet at every event in her life of late. She too is way beyond astonished and thrilled about the revelations of RK. It looks like she is almost there to voice those words of love. So, it can't be that simple. The current happenings don't pave way for the obsession and dark story they claimed to provide us. Hence I felt what I wrote earlier.
