Preet and Sri,

I don't mind Dips that much. She adds spice to the show.

And lets not forget without her Hotty and Mads wouldn't have ended up in the same room on the same bed.

And I'm holding on to hope that bcos of Dips saree drama we'll get a moment between the leads on Monday.😉

I am just so selfish that I like what Dips does, but I never tolerate her when she is building up the ugly moment for the beautiful moments ahead. 🤣 Poori vamp hoon...like an evil saas

Look you need to talk more like this with people around you to attract all the bees. If you keep shy, then that's it, nothing will happen. Coz u are going against nature. We need to market ourselves remember !!! All those flowers out there attracting through color or fragrance or exquisite design. 🤣

I dont see anyone around that I want to attract..

Couldnt help appreciating what Dovesview has written about Madhu 😊...Damn I have been trying to pacify my friends saying the same thing for so long time but I guess I failed to get the perfect words for describing Madhu as a girl next door ...who is simple but with some exceptional hidden qualities...Its her journey to evolve as RK's dream 😳.

👏 girl for sitting through M-M scenes. I saw a couple of scenes and was beyond irritated at Mukki. I just wished he'd go away. I actually thought RK is a sadist and Mukki, who I thought was the hero, will save Mads from this marraige.

I started watching MB out of sheer frustration I had for IPK and finally giving up on it. My first epi in MB was the massage scene and from then there was no looking back.

I did start watching it from the beginning. I had recognized DD and VD from their previous shows during the promos and although I only really saw their shows on and off for about two weeks I was intrigued, the two looked good together. So I only started watching the show because of these two together.

Then when it started I was confused at the beginning and thought it was a little over the top but I stuck with it, waiting forever for DD and then VD to show up. When the whole M&M stuff was happening, I watched but not with a whole lot of interest, I mean the fact that I watch and re-watch many Madhu/RK scenes over and over again and I never ever watched a M&M episode more than once is quite telling. Even after the marriage I stopped watching for about a week (partially because I was on vacation) and I felt like I had wasted too much time on this show so I likely wouldn't come back to it but then one day on vacation we had some down time and I started googling things on my phone and ended up reading a summary of an epsiode of the show, the one where Madhu stands up to RK and says all those things to him about family and I found myself spending most of my Saturday looking up videos from that week on my phone and watching the epsiodes. There was no looking back after that for me after that, I was officially hooked.

Thanks for filling me in on IPK... Inconsistencies like that worry me, but I've come to expect them from Indian serials. It's just sad cause you see something that has SOOO much potential but something happens, whether it's that they get too comfortable with their position or they're just tired, or they just decide to throw in the towel and become lazy, and it all starts going downhill. I sincerely hope that doesn't happen here.

🤣 I have to second SD, I like the results of her schemes (when they bring RK/Madhu together) but I don't like her.

You're like my cousin, I talk to her on the phone once a week and while we don't go anywhere near this in depth about our feelings about the show, we just talk about it a little, she's said on more than once that she likes Dipzy because she brings spice to the show. I think sprice could've been provided another way. I don't know, I guess I like evil characters that you can love to hate. I don't find anything I like about this woman other than her schemes to pull our couple apart have only have the opposite effect.

Wow. I just went through the past few posts and my head is spinning with all the info. So much tizzy about the RK/Dips relationship! Is it ironic that I've never put that much thought into it?

I always thought that Dips was never really that much a part of the household- she was in London for long enough that RK thought she wouldn't be coming back anytime soon- probably she only came back because she saw the newspapers about the Madhu/RK relationship. I always thought the relationship from his side was the intensity of first love, but now shes a reminder of his mistakes and his "stupidity" at that age. And the one thing RK hates is being reminded that he is human. Dips is a living, breathing reminder that there was once a time that he was not in control of his destiny, that he misjudged people. In my opinion thats why he's "helpless" before her- not because of any residual feelings, but because she reminds him of all his mistakes.

I honestly think she was just biding her time and has intensified her efforts because she can see the Madhu/RK relationship is flourashing. RK's telling Madhu's things he's probably never told Dips, and the fact that Madhu effected RK through the armour he donned on after all the betrayals tells us about the massive effect they have on each other- beyond anything Dips ever did for him.

Not dwelling too much on the RK/Dips thing becasue even in its inception, the Madhu/RK thing was an inferno that eclisped everything for RK. Even now, she is his obssesion. Even now he wants to be the first person for her. And that's going to get worse/more intense as the show goes on and Madhu/RK's characters develop. No way that RK/Dips was that intense- he wouldn't have been able to refuse her consistently for five years if it was.

Don't pay too much attention to her- I just look at her for her expressions whenever her plans backfire and Madhu/RK get closer. There's something so satisfying about looking at her face in those moments.😆

In addition to what I wrote above, that's why I said he's in such a tizzy about the saree- he does not want Madhu associated with Deepali in his head in any way- it's not that he still has strong feelings for Deepali, its that its Madhu and he does not want any reminder of his mistake on her- because what he has with her is something that he will not be allowed to be tainted by past reminders. He said it was hate in the beginning- well whatever it is now, it's the purest thing he has, and he wants nothing to get in the way of that. It's RK/Madhubala-no intruders allowed, even in the form of a saree😆

It's going to be interesting to see how the next track unfolds.

@Soundarya: Of course it makes absolute sense. I completely agree with you when you say that Madhu is actually discovering herself in her new relationship with RK.
